Chapter 11 - Starting the Planning.

His eyelids opened little by little, revealing the place where he was.

It wasn't his small and messy usual room, it was something much more luxurious.

A spacious room, with walls upholstered in red with golden motifs, completely furnished.

"So it wasn't a dream," he said with a sigh.

A fervent emotion grew inside his chest, this wasn't his world.

"This is amazing..."

The boy couldn't help but smile. He quickly jumped out of bed, his feet met the soft carpet, and he walked to the huge window.

With a fluid gesture he drew the curtains, letting the soft morning light caress him.

"How pleasant."

The boy admired the view, it allowed him to see part of the city, a wide forest and green mountains, it was beautiful.

"Alright Lloyd, you've transmigrated to another body, but it's not time to get excited."

Part of him wanted to explore the mansion, but another part told him to be prudent.

In all the novels he'd read, protagonists who transmigrated into a novel made preparations for future dangers.

"Is it fear of the future that prevents us from enjoying the present?"

The boy stroked his chin, reflecting on it. Then his gaze met an ornate mirror.

Lloyd approached it, seeing himself in it.

"It's a strange sensation to see someone else reflected."

With a sigh, the boy moved away. He needed to make a plan.

"Well, Lloyd didn't even appear in the novel. The only way the plot affects me is through my father. What should I do?"

Lloyd sighed.

"For now wash up, change clothes and have a good breakfast."

There was no need to rush so much, he still had plenty of time.

"Well, I suppose I should start by writing down everything I know about the novel."

It was already afternoon, it had been difficult to separate from his mother, who acted extremely clingy toward him.

It was understandable, not only had they killed a friend of his, but he'd also been kidnapped. Barbara was already very overprotective, now she only had more reasons to continue being so.

"Should I write this in another language? I don't want them to discover I'm a transmigrator."

The official language of that world was English, though this was only because the novel was in that language.

Luckily, Lloyd had studied French and Spanish, languages that were unknown in that world.

"I suppose I'll opt to use Spanish, though I could also alternate."

The boy took a pen and opened a leather-bound notebook, to start writing.

Lloyd started with the most important things, places of interest and dangerous enemies.

"I must go to the lost ruins of Jabulqa no matter what. If I remember correctly they were hidden in the Shaddad desert."

That place was very important, it was where he could find "humanity's most powerful weapon."

"I must get there before Alexander, so it's the most urgent."

Alexander was the protagonist of the work. He was transported to the ruins by chance, Lloyd on the other hand had to find them manually.

"It won't be easy, but it's necessary... Now, I should also think about finding the lost labyrinth of Thanatos and conquering the abyss of Nun."

Lloyd made a small grimace, he was being very ambitious.

"Really... I need to get strong. Without that, having read the novel is useless."

The boy lay down on the table, he needed to learn to use his hereditary ritual, and if necessary, learn magic.

"I should talk to Baltazar... Though he's very busy, I didn't even see him at lunch."

A sigh escaped his throat, he was being very impatient.

"That reminds me I didn't see Calypso either. Where could they have taken her?"

A noise interrupted him, someone had knocked on the door.

"Come in."

Upon saying that, the door opened, and a woman entered his room, she was a maid.

"Sorry to bother you Master Lloyd, but your father wishes to see you."

Lloyd smiled, just the person he wanted to talk to.

"That's fine."

The boy stood up calmly, it was time to ask his father for a couple of things.
