Ohh, when I finally reach my homegrown
I wander on my own
thinking that I have grown
I welcome my cousins to my town...
before the dawn, I held the sky in waiting
For cousins and Ponds, dreams of going fishing...
As the dawn peaked
My cousins and I sneaked,
to the pond
As I yawned...
Now,
The railway's vanished, the pond is dry,
Childhood's innocence has said goodbye.
Yet in my heart, soft echoes stay,
Joy of that moment lights my way.
