[A/N I can't find I way to introduce the main character so he will be with Martian manhunter and red toranado. This book will mainly focus on young justice]

Chapter 1: Independence Day
Hall of justice library
P.o.v Orion hood
While I was waiting for the 4 sidekicks
I read one of the books in the library as I was in the middle of reading Martian manhunter walked in with Batman with robin Aquaman
With aqualad flash with kid flash and green arrow with speedy
For kids who fight crime they did not notice me the corner
Flash " make yourselves at home" the sidekicks sit down sill not noticing me
Speedy was the only one who didn't sit
The four hero's go to debrief on what made them late speedy angry said " that's it you promised us a real look inside, not a glorified backstage pass" as green arrow tried to calm him speedy then said "what I need is respect" he then turned to the other three sidekicks and continued to speak "they're treating us like kids worse like sidekicks we deserve better than this" I decided to say something "respect is earned and you are sidekicks"
They all turned to me I then said "today is step one the see how you will react and change to see if you deserve the chance to be more than sidekicks" speedy then decided to ignore me
Than decide to go on a rant about how the hall is just a front for the watchtower and decided to go out on his own
Just as Superman calls the justice league to say that project Cadmus is on fire but before anyone can answer him Zarara call saying "the sorcerer Wotan is using the amulet of attan to blot out the sun requesting full league response" Batman than order the full league to respond and asks me to watch the kids
After they leave robin then asks me who I am I reply " I am fleet admiral Orion hood of the UNSC " aqualad " I have heard of you the UNSC first appeared in first invasion of earth from apocalypse you had a hand in the creation of the justice league what are you doing here"
Kid flash then asked "ya why are you here"
I then said "I am here to meet you. You three are to be trained to form a new team i will be the one to see if it is worth the risk to add a spartan to help train you" I decide to go back to my book "you will go to Cadmus and investigate I will act as if you did so of your own choice and did not tell me"
