Location - Shiu battlefield
The battlefield, once consumed by chaos, trembled under a sudden shift. A golden radiance erupted from above, splitting the darkened sky apart. The once-oppressive storm clouds trembled, retreating as if fearing the presence that now illuminated the war-torn land.
The air grew heavy-not with dread, but with something far more overwhelming. An immeasurable force surged across the battlefield, crashing down like a tidal wave.
Demons froze in place, their bodies paralyzed with fear.
Among the battered sorcerers, confusion turned to awe. A presence unlike any other had arrived.
"Who is that sorcerer? I never felt something like this..." one sorcerer gasped, his voice barely a whisper. His eyes were wide with amusement.
"I don't know.... but none of us do." Another sorcerer clenched his fists, his breathing heavy. Then, his expression shifted, burning with newfound determination. "But this battle.... this battle is about to change! I AM SURE OF IT!"
A roar of revived hope echoed through the sorcerers' ranks. Their spirits, which had been hanging by a thread, now blazed with defiance.
At the center of it all, Azad's golden aura raged like an unrelenting storm, tendrils of raw energy flaring outward.
The battlefield was no longer drowning in darkness.
He stood at the heart of the battlefield, a living embodiment of devastation and resolve.
A black battle suit, sleek yet reinforced for war, hugged his form. His chest armor glowed with golden inscriptions, pulsating with raw power.
Strapped to his back-two katanas, crossed like an X.
And upon his face, a golden-visor helmet, reflecting the flames of war.
He stood magnificent
Behind him, three warriors knelt, bloodied and broken.
Firoaz's breath was ragged, his vision blurred from the pain. But through the haze of his wounds, he saw the silhouette of the golden warrior standing before him. His presence alone was enough to push away the shadows of despair.
Wu Chan, gritting his teeth, forced himself to speak.
"Hey... boy. I don't know who you are... but you look like a teenager." His voice was weak, yet his words carried concern. "This battle is dangerous. So-"
Before he could finish, Azad turned his head slightly.
"It's okay... Thanks for your concern." His voice was calm, steady-yet filled with an unshakable force.
Wu Chan and the others amazed. His tone wasn't uncertain. It wasn't reckless. It was absolute.
"You three have done enough to protect humanity."
Firoaz's breathing hitched.
"From now on, I will take care of it."
A promise. A declaration.
"First, stop your bleeding and heal your wounds." Azad added. Even in the midst of battle, he prioritized their survival.
But then-
Mirauza's eyes gleamed with malice. His lips twisted into a cruel smirk.
This child thought he could stand against him?
"Kill him," he growled.
The dark legion moved.
From the shadows, dozens of dark knights burst forth, their armor gleaming under the dim light. Their swords, black as night, flashed through the air as they rushed Azad with ruthless intent.
Wu Chan's eyes widened.
"LOOK OUT!"
The dark knights closed in, blades arcing downward.
A thunderous crash erupted. The earth beneath them cracked, dust and debris exploding into the air.
For a moment-silence.
Then-
A golden light split through the dust.
High above, Azad floating in the sky.
The trio stared, their expressions shifting from shock to awe.
Azad's hands gripped the hilts of his twin katanas.
Then-he spoke.
"Power of Fire-"
The temperature shifted. The battlefield roared to life, flames crackling through the air as Azad's katanas ignited.
"Red Flame Whirlwind!"
The moment the words left his lips, Azad spun midair.
His Katanas became a blazing vortex.
With a blazing whirlwind of fire, Azad descended like a falling comet, spinning violently through the air. His twin katanas, engulfed in roaring flames, became weapons of absolute destruction.
Then-
BOOM!
He slammed into the ground with devastating force. The impact ripped through the battlefield, sending shockwaves in all directions. A searing wave of fire exploded outward, consuming the dark knights caught in its wake.
A massive cloud of smoke and embers engulfed the battlefield, swallowing everything in its fiery embrace. The flames crackled hungrily, devouring the remains of those unfortunate enough to stand in his way.
For a moment-silence.
Then, from within the fading smoke-
A figure emerged.
Azad stood tall magnificently. His katanas still burned with relentless fury. The battlefield, once drowning in darkness, was now ablaze with his overwhelming presence.
Mirauza's eyes widened with a Shock, Rage, and Fear.
His claws twitched. His breath hitched. His confidence wavered.
His teeth clenched so hard. "This shouldn't be possible. This power-this level of destruction-how could he possess such overwhelming Power?"
Azad's gaze locked onto him.
Then-he moved towards Mirauza slowly with deliberate steps.
The flames around his katanas flared violently.
The battlefield shook with an ominous tension.
Mirauza's body tensed. A sensation unlike anything before-unusual, foreign, unsettling. His mind swirled in a storm of despair, confusion, and rage. Then, unable to suppress the fury boiling inside him, he roared with agony, his voice tearing through the battlefield.
"Did you think you will defeat me?! I AM MIRAUZA! THE GENERAL COMMANDER OF BÖSER GEIST!"
At his command, dark forces erupted from the ground.
Twenty archers. Their bows gleamed with cursed energy.
Twenty dark knights. Their swords dripped with malevolent power.
Ten massive shield-bearing knights. Their iron bulwarks shone under the eerie battlefield light.
The reinforcements stood like an unbreakable wall, a fortress of absolute power.
And yet-Azad walked forward, undeterred.
His movements were calm, steady and relentless.
From behind him, the obliterated dark knights began regenerating, their twisted forms reconstructing from pure abyssal energy.
Azad's sharp eyes took in the phenomenon, calmly analyzing their regenerative abilities.
Then-the legion charged.
Like a black tidal wave, the dark knights rushed Azad without hesitation.
Azad tilted his head slightly downward.
His katanas began crackling with thunder.
Then he whispered the chant-
"Power of thunder, Dancing Thunder God."
A storm erupted.
Azad became a streak of lightning and steel, moving in a lethal, dance-like rhythm. Blades spun, sparks exploded, lightning cracked through the battlefield.
With each step, his katana arcs wove through the air, striking down knights mercilessly.
BOOM! CRACK!
The battlefield flashed with violent bursts of electricity, turning the front line of dark knights into smoldering corpses.
From a distance, Wu Chan gasped.
"He also can unleash a thunder element to this extent... AMAZING..."
Nirav stood frozen, his expression torn between disbelief and awe.
"Who is this WARRIOR?!"
Firoaz, battered and exhausted, smiled despite himself.
Yet, the battle raged on.
The surviving dark knights surged forward, their swords raised high.
Azad stood still. Waiting.
Then, he moved.
In a blink of an eye, Azad had already slipped into their ranks.
Blades tore through armor.
Blood and darkness scattered like raindrops.
His katanas cut with unwavering precision, his movements weaving through the knights like a deadly ghost.
One by one, they fell.
Then-the archers struck.
A storm of cursed arrows rained down toward Azad.
His eyes flickered upward-and he leaped back instantly.
Another volley of arrows shot toward him.
Azad's katanas whipped through the air, deflecting them effortlessly.
Then-a strike from behind.
He sensed it.
Dodged.
Twisting his body in a fluid motion, he avoided the incoming dark knight's blade by inches.
But Azad didn't have time to waste.
His golden eyes locked onto Mirauza.
A straight path to the demon general.
Without hesitation, Azad surged forward.
His katanas sliced through the dark knights relentlessly, his attacks coming down like a violent storm.
Closer. Closer.
Then-a massive barrier of iron shields.
CLANG!
Azad's strike was blocked.
Before he could recover, the shield-bearing dark knights slammed into him.
BOOM!
Azad's body flew backward, crashing into the ground-but he flipped mid-air, landing with the grace of a seasoned warrior.
His golden eyes narrowed.
"As I thought.... This wasn't just a chaotic clash of warriors-he controlling the battlefield like a master tactician."
Azad's gaze swept across the battlefield. The pattern was clear now.
"First, he sent in his sword-wielding dark knights. They were fast, relentless, engaging the enemy with unyielding aggression, forcing them into constant combat with no room to breathe. They weren't just attackers-they were distractions."
"Then came the archers. Positioned at a distance, they unleashed a deadly rain of arrows, striking down opponents locked in battle with the dark knights. A perfect second layer of attack."
"And finally-the real defense."
"The shield-bearing dark knights. These warriors weren't meant to attack; they were the last line of defense, standing like an unbreakable fortress around him. Their shields absorbed even the most powerful strikes, ensuring that no one could lay a hand on their master."
Azad's fingers tightened around his katanas. Now he understood.
"His entire army is a war machine. The swordsmen are the offense, the archers are the suppressors, and the shield knights are the guardians. A perfect system... almost flawless."
"No matter how strong the system was, it had one flaw-it relied on the shield knights as the ultimate defense. If I could find a way to bypass them..."
"But breaking through alone? Impossible."
Azad exhaled sharply, his mind racing. He needed an opening, someone to draw the shield knights' attention for just a moment.
That was all he needed. One moment.
He turned toward Wu Chan, Nirav, and Firoaz-warriors who had fought to their last breath to protect humanity. They were wounded, battered, but their fighting spirit had not dimmed.
"If they assist me... I will reach that bastard."
The dark knights charged again.
Azad's mind clicked. A plan formed.
His aura flared with power.
He began chanting-
"Flames ignite, fire burns bright, inferno's rage, Hell Fire."
WHOOSH!
A colossal inferno erupted from his blades, engulfing the battlefield in flames.
The fire roared like a living beast, consuming everything in its path.
The dark knights screamed as they burned away into nothingness.
The battlefield transformed into a sea of blazing ruins.
Azad strode through the flames toward the trio. His golden aura burned fiercely against the firelit sky.
He stopped in front of them. His voice was calm-yet firm.
"Guys, can you do me a little favor?"
The trio smirked.
Wu Chan cracked his knuckles. Nirav twirled his weapon. Firoaz's lips curled into a grin.
The battlefield simmered with heat and destruction.
Smoke and debris obscured the field.
Mirauza's eyes narrowed. He scanned the battlefield, searching through the haze.
After a while...
Then-the smoke began to clear.
And there they stood.
Azad-his katana ablaze with fire, his golden aura radiating power.
The trio-weapons drawn, standing at his side, ready to fight.
Mirauza's lips curled into a wicked grin.
"OHHHH... So you've joined forces. Interesting..."
His claws twitched, power radiating from his very presence.
"However, the outcome is already decided..."
His voice lowered into a sinister growl.
"YOU CAN'T DEFEAT ME, YOU INFERIOR CREATURES!"
A tense silence fell.
Then-Azad chuckled.
A slow, mocking chuckle that echoed through the battlefield.
His golden eyes met Mirauza with unwavering confidence.
And then, with a smirk- He raised his middle finger towards Mirauza.
"Let's see about that... YOU FOOL."
The narrator's voice echoed:
"The Shiu battle nears its end. The blood-soaked land bears witness to the relentless struggle between humanity and the forces of darkness. In just a few more chapters, this long and grueling war will finally reach its conclusion."
