For the first time since waking up in this strange wooden body, Alex felt a bit of stability. The system voice had gone quiet after the failed explanation attempt, leaving him alone with his thoughts.
"Alright," he muttered mentally. "So Let's see what does this system do ?"

After seeing his status and seeing no other option of engaging or like click button he starts to think about the use of system.
After some time he tries to focus on the Unique skill option and suddenly the translucent blue dos like window expands a little and shows new explanation for the unique skill.

"Now that is something. " I internally say as I start to think how to use this skill to level up because it is a pretty good skill.
At first after seeing skills and level i thought i get do awesome things just like those main characters in the novels and mangas . But soon i get my first reality check and that is i am literal tree.
I waited and i have don't even know how much time would have passed if not for the clock of the system.
Soon frustration began to form in my mind due to this waiting in this darkness.
Its like being trapped in the mind of your body except you can't do anything but only wait and see eternal darkness.
To distract my mind from these gloomy thoughts i started experimenting with some skills. At first i focused on the skill [Germinate] and thought of using them even though i don't know a shit about how to use it and just clicked on it mentally.
But just as i started it a pop up soon came up.
[Not the right season.]
What is the season then? Once I had that thought, next to the clock a seasonal calendar appears. Another DOS like menu, but with a slowly moving indicator that says mid-summer.
Curious i focused on other skill [Autopilot] and clicked on it and suddenly a pop up appears.
[Autopilot engaged. You have activated [hibernate].
And I recall falling into a sleep like state.
And when I woke up, a good four months passed on the clock. But still darkness. At least the season menu says [spring].
[Autopilot has activated [germinate]].
Nothing happens. It is still darkness to me.
And with autopilot active, time passes quickly. Which is really convenient because there is absolutely nothing to do. And so time passes.
