At the connector's guild
The chaos had finally settled down , evelyn has entered the guild once again along with her new 'friends', who are still only labelled as temporary co-workers inside evelyn's mind. During their time in their hospital, they got to know a few things about each other.
The normal name of the female caller is Anvika, she has been awakened as a caller for 2 years .
The name of the kid is Ritvik, he awakened as a caller 2 months ago, though he was given the option of continuing his education because of his non-combat abilities, he chose to stay in the guild and focus on strengthening his power.
Evelyn also learned many other things related to caller. A caller's abilities are related to the design formed on their phone cover. A caller chooses which type of power they want to achieve with the help of their phone which has functions like options, settings, call .etc. The better one understand the functions of their phone, the easier it is to use the power granted by the phone and become stronger. However, since evelyn has managed to activate her power without even touching her phone, she will be treated as one of the special cases, for now.
She also managed to learn that if you are within the range of terminator's stream invite , you will be given an invite through the help of the system and in order to exit from the stream you just have to fly/teleport/run away from the stream range , in the 'quitting' case no terminator will be able to stop you, however this rule is not valid during when the stream has been officially started by the terminator. Each stream has different challenges and battles, for example, the challenge for this steam was to prevent the destruction that will be caused by the terminator on any kind of property, person and land for the next three minutes, the damage won't count if it is done by a caller instead of a terminator. The details for the battle will be written on the description during the invite. Since , the time duration was only for three minutes, Anvika used on of her major powers with a huge side effect of cutting off oxygen supply from her body . She believed that her body could withstand a "mere" three minute no oxygen environment in the middle of the battle. Of course, the nagging and the phone calls that came afterwards were no joke either. The complaints continued despite her being a 'critical' patient until her phone battery ran out.
Evelyn also managed to learn about the 'congratulation ritual'. Apparently, when a person awakens as a caller, the senior group tries all types of activities to find the odd personality of the caller. In this guild, having an odd side is what collects every caller and makes them feel at ease with each other.
For Anvika's odd side, it is to Jump into any kind of danger without worrying about her surroundings or facing the consequences of her actions later on, as for Ritvik, his odd side is to be extremely informative while performing tiny experiments on any kind of resource available in front of him.
For Aarav , the guy who was temporarily active during meteor's stream is to act wild and unpredictable like a species that can't be controlled by anyone. Of course , most of the caller's had already found a way to 'tame' him one way or the other in extreme situations like the one evelyn faced before.
And as for evelyn, both of them labelled her overthinking state as an 'odd side' making it sound like they are saving evelyn form a huge hassle she had to face ahead. Evelyn just quietly accepted their kindness without wanting to know about the ritual any further.
After entering the guild , she parts way with her co -workers and heads towards the room where her parents had been escorted to stay in because of the circumstances . When she opens the door, the first sentences that comes out of her mouth is.....
"Where's my husband!?"
