Kairo has lived with this anomaly since childhood.
Back then, he merely saw fragments —
shards scattered across the ground
that gleamed like broken glass,
reflecting things that did not exist.
Only he could see them.
As he grew older,
the phenomenon worsened.
He began to see places that should not be.
People who should not breathe.
He is drawn into spaces that are:
temporary,
permanent,
or something between breath and memory.
Are these visions of the future?
Echoes of the past?
Fragments of the present?
Are they none of the three —
or all of them at once?
In time,
all will be revealed.
There was once a man
who desperately sought the meaning behind this phenomenon.
He begged for truth —

He received his answer.
