The wooden door swung open before he could even answer.
Kira and Zeyra stood in the doorway, their faces bright and thoroughly refreshed.

Zeyra, standing beside her with a hand propped on her hip, wore a fitted, sleeveless dark-leather vest over a crimson tunic, her long black hair left loose to fall over her shoulders.
She had traded her twin combat daggers for a pair of polished utility knives at her belt, her sharp features were softened by a relaxed, radiant smile.
"Still sitting in the dark?" Zeyra teased, a playful smirk curving her lips. "The whole tribe is already dancing, and you're hiding up here like an old hermit."
