Jessica, standing in front of the academy entrance, walked in with a confident stride, recalling Sofia's words.
Sofia had spoken with a seriousness unlike her usual playful or mischievous tone "Big sister, you're now my brother's partner, the future matriarch of the Flame household. That means you can't act like the student of the current matriarch anymore. I'm going to give you some advice on how to behave."
Thinking back on the guidance, Jessica felt it wouldn't be difficult, even if it was her first time acting this way.
As she walked down the corridor, she noticed there were only a few others late like her.
Arriving at the door of Class S, she opened it and saw all eyes on her.
Despite the attention focused on her, she walked toward an empty seat with a neutral expression.
The teacher, noticing she had been ignored and not given any explanation, asked Jessica "Student, I would like to ask you the reason for your lateness and whether you are part of this class."
Sitting down and looking at the teacher, she replied with a calm smile "I was delayed due to some personal complications, and yes, I am in the correct class."
The teacher, listening to her answer, stared at her for a few seconds, trying to detect any signs of nervousness. Finding none, she sighed and said "I see. Now, could you introduce yourself to us?"
Jessica crossed her arms in front of her and said "Jessica. I will do my best in the days to come at the academy."
The teacher didn't seem fully satisfied with the introduction but continued with the other students.
Tip 1: No matter who you face at the academy, no one holds more influence than the Flame household. Being comfortable with anyone, teachers or even the director, is only natural.
The lesson began immediately after, explaining the continents and the realms of power, with the five stages we need to know.
The nine continents are ranked from lowest to highest, with the upper ones considered the most powerful. Their names, in order, are: Astrael, Sombraveld, Valkarath, Sylvanor, Drakmara, Felsar, Vespera, Luthra, Arkhora.
Taylor is from the weakest continent, Astrael, while Nyssa comes from Drakmara, the fifth strongest.
Each continent hosts many races, but each has a dominant one. Astrael belongs to the Astraelith, humans. Sombraveld is home to the Sombra, dark entities. Valkarath is ruled by the Valkari, winged warriors. Sylvanor is the land of the Faeryn, the elves. Drakmara is populated by the Drakon, dragons. Felsar is the domain of the Forging Titans, giant blacksmiths. Vespera houses the Blood revenants , vampires. Luthra shelters the Dark Angels, fallen angels. Finally, Arkhora is the land of the Eternal Demons, demons.
The realms of power are:
Seedling: first contact with the essence.
Acolyte: basic control over the essence.
Invoker: begins to combine body, mind, and magic.
Rune Bearer: expert in runes and seals.
Arcanist – advanced skills in manipulating the essence.
Ethereal Knight: body and Essence armor fused perfectly.
Spirit Warden: ability to perceive and interact with the essence of others.
Sovereign of Essence: extraordinary strength.
Mythic Avatar: almost complete fusion with the essence.
Eternal Convergence: state of supreme harmony.
Unique Feature: unique power, linked to the destiny or personality of the individual.
The lesson continued, with Jessica immersed in data on the basic techniques of various races.
Meanwhile, Taylor was heading toward the auction. Sitting in the carriage, he was reading a book about the items that would be auctioned.
When the carriage stopped, he got out and found himself in front of the auction. He entered with slow steps, looking around for someone.
Without realizing it, he had already arrived in front of the VIP rooms, which offered a better view and service for the auction.
A servant approached and asked for his ticket. Taylor handed it over, still looking around.
The servant offered to guide him to his room, and Taylor nodded.
As they walked, a group of girls from the three strongest continents exited a room. As soon as they saw Taylor, one from the continent of Luthra exclaimed with a voice full of joy "I told you the heir of House Flame would arrive today"
The others, with the same expression, began talking among themselves, but suddenly fell silent as they met Taylor's gaze.
Seeing such a stunning young man, rare even in their continents, they felt their hearts race and their breaths shorten.
Taylor, however, was looking at the girl beyond the group, who was walking toward him with someone talking beside her.
Without paying attention to the group, he walked toward her and said in his cold voice "Here is my second star."
Stopping in front of her and locking eyes, he said in a cold voice, "What a coincidence to see you here, Duchess of Luthyriel."
