Chapter 66 - I-Island Incident - Part 10

Down below, the city was still being torn apart from the inside out.

The metallic pillars would not stop.

They emerged from the asphalt, from the walls, from the foundations of buildings, and even from ripped-out streetlights, spreading like endless roots. Every time the heroes destroyed one, three more seemed to be born in its place.

Mother Ultimate was standing again, though unsteady. A red mark crossed part of her face, the result of the impact that had knocked her down minutes earlier. Even so, she kept using her giant body as a barrier for civilians.

"Back!" she shouted, holding two pillars with her enormous hands. "I said get back!"

The metals tried to wrap around her arms. She broke them with brute force, but another came from below, striking her leg and almost making her fall again.

Gojira roared in another street, planting his feet into the ground while holding back a tide of metal with both arms.

One pillar struck his shoulder. Another slammed against his chest. The kaiju hero staggered half a step back, but remained firm, protecting the entire avenue behind him.

Cargirl sped through the side streets, pulling civilians out of the way whenever a structure collapsed too close.

"Go, go, go! Don't look back!"

But there were too many people.

Too much metal.

And the destruction was not slowing down.

Then, a heavy sound came from one of the nearby avenues.

Several large robots appeared in the sky between the buildings, descending in formation. Thick armor in dark tones and light details covered their bodies, while jets of energy glowed on their feet and backs, keeping them firmly suspended in the air.

They crossed the streets above the chaos and began acting at once.

One of them dove down and stopped in midair between a group of civilians and a rain of debris, opening a wide shield on its arm to block the impact. Another quickly descended to a half-destroyed balcony, grabbed two people in its arms, and rose again with its thrusters roaring. Three more hovered above an avenue and formed an aerial barrier, intercepting metallic pillars before they could hit the fleeing crowd.

At the side of a street, Mira Caldwell held a tablet almost bigger than her own torso. Her white lab coat flapped in the wind, and her round glasses slipped down her nose while her sleeve-covered fingers moved rapidly across the screen.

"Paladin Three, protect the western route! Paladin Seven, evacuate the wounded from the terrace! Paladin Twelve, no, no, no, don't step on the car, there's someone inside!"

The robot that had been about to descend onto the vehicle immediately corrected its route and hovered a few meters above it.

Mira let out a frightened sigh.

"Good boy..."

Mira returned to the tablet, even more nervous.

"SR-12, shield formation! Protect the civilians first! Don't attack the colossus yet, you'll turn into scrap before you even get close!"

The Paladins obeyed.

Above, Igneel descended with Midoriya and Todoroki, landing on a partially destroyed street. Bakugo arrived shortly after with short explosions, coming down with an irritated grimace.

"What the fuck are these robots now?!" Bakugo shouted, already raising his hands.

Midoriya also tensed when he saw the machines.

"Wait—"

One of the Paladins flew past them carrying two children and an old woman in its arms. Another descended in a straight line, raised its shield above its head, and blocked a pillar that came spinning through the air.

Todoroki lowered the hand that had already been forming flames.

"They're not attacking."

Midoriya breathed in relief.

"They're different from the Sentinels."

Bakugo clicked his tongue.

"As long as they don't get in my way."

A Paladin flew past him, completely ignoring him.

Bakugo narrowed his eyes.

"Hey! I'm talking to you, walking tin can!"

Midoriya looked toward the avenue filled with civilians.

"We don't have time. We have to deal with the pillars before they destroy more of the city."

Todoroki nodded and launched a wall of ice to redirect a set of pillars coming from the side.

"I'll cover this side."

"I'll handle the ones that get too close!" Midoriya replied, activating Full Cowling.

Igneel smiled, his body igniting completely.

Bakugo flew past them.

"ENOUGH TALKING!"

He blew up a pillar that was heading toward a group of civilians, sending metallic fragments flying to the side.

"RUN, EXTRAS!"

The civilians ran without complaining.

Higher up, Pony descended along the side of Tower-I, using her horns as platforms. Dash was hanging from her arms, holding onto her tightly enough to almost crush her.

"Pony..."

"Yes?"

"I'm trying to be very brave right now."

"You're doing very well."

"I'm looking at your face because if I look down, I die."

Pony laughed softly.

"You won't die with me here."

"My stomach disagrees."

She landed on a more distant street, where the damage was smaller, but still visible.

Pony looked around urgently.

Then she saw a small ramen restaurant that was still open, or at least partially open. The door was crooked, one of the windows was cracked, and the owner was inside trying to tape parts of the counter and the sign back together, clearly more worried about the shop than the end of the world happening a few streets away.

Pony dragged Dash there almost without thinking.

"Food!" she pleaded, distressed. "Please, he needs to eat!"

The owner turned to them with a tired and irritated expression.

"Can't you see the state of this place? The restaurant is closed!"

Dash raised a weak finger.

"But I..."

"Dash, quiet," Pony said. "Let me handle this..."

The owner went back to messing with the tape.

"Come back later, if this place still exists after this mess."

Pony went still.

Very still.

The owner noticed the change too late. When he turned his face, six sharp points were very close to it: four horns floating around him and two more freshly regenerated on Pony's head.

Her voice came out low, cold, and strangely calm.

"This is an emergency."

The owner swallowed hard.

"He needs food."

"But—"

"I won't repeat myself."

Dash looked at Pony with wide eyes.

"I didn't imagine she could be this scary..."

The owner went pale.

"O-of course! Ramen! Yes! Ramen is great in emergencies!"

He ran to the kitchen, tripping over his own feet.

Pony slowly recalled the floating horns and helped Dash sit in one of the chairs near the counter.

"There. You're going to eat."

Dash looked at her, still half scared, half amazed.

"T-Thank you, ma'am..."

----------------------------------------

Midoriya, Todoroki, Bakugo, and Igneel advanced through the destroyed streets toward the metallic colossus.

The ground trembled with every movement Wolfram made. The pillars kept exploding out of the asphalt like tentacles, tearing through entire streets and pulling anything metal toward the gigantic body in the center of the city. The closer they got, the stronger the force of attraction became.

An overturned car began sliding violently down the street, being pulled toward the central mass.

Midoriya shot forward.

He jumped, twisted his body in the air, and struck the vehicle with a controlled kick, redirecting its path away from a group of civilians running along the sidewalk.

"Keep running!" he shouted. "Head for the safe area!"

Todoroki came right behind him, placing his hand on the ground.

A wall of ice rose in the middle of the avenue, blocking several pillars advancing from the side. The impact cracked part of the barrier, but it held long enough for a Paladin to fly over it and carry three people trapped on the second floor of a damaged shop.

Bakugo flew over them with explosions in his hands, destroying two pillars that almost struck an injured hero farther ahead. The man, wearing a blue and silver uniform, was lying on the ground with one leg pinned beneath a metal plate.

"HEY, EXTRA!" Bakugo shouted, landing violently beside him. "You gonna just lie there and wait to become scrap decoration?!"

The hero tried to respond, but another pillar came toward him.

Bakugo twisted his body and blew the pillar in half before it got close.

Midoriya reached the injured hero and carefully lifted the plate.

"Can you move?"

"My leg..." the hero replied, grimacing. "I think it's broken."

"Igneel-san!" Midoriya called.

The Brazilian came in the form of fire, leaving an orange trail in the air.

"Leave it to me!"

Igneel partially returned to human form, carefully held the injured hero, and lifted him without burning him. He flew off with him and handed him over to an SR-12 hovering nearby, receiving civilians and injured people one after another.

Meanwhile, Bakugo looked at Midoriya in irritation.

"You're wasting time on every single person who shows up in our way."

Midoriya turned to him, serious.

"If we pass by someone who needs help and ignore them, then we're not moving forward as heroes."

Bakugo clicked his tongue.

"I know that, damn it!"

He blew up another pillar coming from behind Midoriya before continuing to run.

"I'm just telling you to do it faster!"

Todoroki passed beside them, freezing a sequence of metallic tentacles trying to cross an intersection.

"Argue while you run."

Igneel returned to the group at that same instant, flying beside Todoroki.

"The ice kid is right. We've still got a Godzilla getting beaten up up ahead."

Ahead of them, Gojira was still holding back the metallic tide trying to invade an entire avenue. The kaiju hero had his feet sunk into the asphalt, his arms trembling as he took impact after impact.

Bakugo flew first.

"GET OUT OF THE WAY, LIZARD!"

Godzilla turned his face, offended.

"LIZARD IS YOUR—"

Bakugo blew up one of the pillars pressing against his shoulder, making the structure shatter into pieces. Midoriya came from the ground, leaped between two cars being dragged away, and landed a Smash on another metallic tentacle, deflecting it upward.

Todoroki created an ice ramp along the avenue.

"Midoriya, use this!"

"Understood!"

Midoriya ran up the ramp, gained height, and used the momentum to deliver a dropkick that destroyed three smaller pillars trying to reach the civilians.

Igneel opened his arms in the air.

"Alright, big guy. Take a deep breath!"

Gojira narrowed his eyes.

"Why?"

Igneel brought his hands together and launched a crosshatched web of fire along the base of the metallic tide. The heat made several pillars red and malleable. Godzilla seized the moment, grabbed the entire mass with both hands, and pulled with force.

The metal gave way.

"NOW THAT'S MORE LIKE IT!"

He ripped a huge mass of pillars from the ground and hurled it away, opening space for the civilians to finish evacuating the street.

Midoriya landed on a building beside him.

"Are you okay, sir?"

Godzilla breathed heavily, looking at his own marked arms.

"I've fought worse things. Just not today."

Igneel flew overhead and gave him a thumbs-up.

"That line was good. I'm stealing it."

Before they could continue, another tremor ran through the city. The colossus moved one of its arms, and a gigantic mass of metal raised the enormous metal arm and swung it horizontally across the city, as if sweeping dust off a table.

The difference was that the "dust" was buildings, streets, and people.

The colossal hand ripped entire facades away in its path. Parts of buildings were destroyed and hurled into the distance. Beams, windows, cars, signs, chunks of concrete, and entire structures came flying down the avenue like a solid storm.

Midoriya widened his eyes.

Todoroki immediately touched the ground with his hand.

"Hold on!"

A wall of ice rose in front of them, but not like a straight wall. It split into several angled layers, forming ramps and platforms to divert part of the debris instead of trying to hold everything back at once.

The first blocks slammed into the ice and slid to the sides.

Others passed over it.

Bakugo cracked his hands.

"Finally something big enough to be worth blowing up!"

He shot into the air with violent explosions, intercepting a huge metal plate before it could hit Gojira and the civilians still fleeing down the street.

HOWITZER—!

He began to spin.

IMPACT!

The explosion opened a hole through the middle of the massive plate and scattered the fragments in different directions. Some smaller pieces still fell, but Todoroki trapped them in ice before they reached the ground.

Igneel flew just above them, his body engulfed in fire.

He stretched out his arms and released two concentrated lines of fire, one to each side of the avenue. The flames cut through and melted specific points in the debris, opening narrow corridors through the storm of concrete and metal.

"Green kid! Go through the middle!"

"Understood!"

Midoriya leapt forward.

Full Cowling glowed around him as he jumped from one piece of suspended debris to another. A block of concrete spun beneath his feet. He stepped on it, pushed his body forward, and jumped toward a beam flying in the opposite direction.

The beam was spinning too fast.

Midoriya nearly lost his balance, but he bent his knees, used his body like a spring, and launched himself forward.

Another building came toward him.

Not a small piece.

An entire partially torn-away building, tilted, with several floors still attached to one another, descending like a fallen tower.

Midoriya went straight through a broken window of the falling building and landed inside a slanted hallway. The building was falling sideways, so the walls had become the floor and the floor had become a wall. Desks, chairs, light fixtures, and shards of glass slid along with him while everything plummeted.

He ran through the crooked hallway anyway.

A shelf came sliding toward him. Midoriya lowered his body and passed underneath it. The ceiling cracked above him. The entire structure groaned as the building spun through the air, getting closer and closer to the ground.

He jumped over a sliding desk, used the side of a wall as support, and burst through another broken window on the opposite side.

The instant he left the building, the structure slammed into an avenue behind him, raising an explosion of dust.

Midoriya began to fall.

"Got you!"

Igneel appeared from below, with one of his hands in human form, grabbed Midoriya's wrist, and pulled him upward before the boy lost altitude.

"Do you usually run through falling buildings like that, or was that improvisation?"

Midoriya took a deep breath, still shaken.

"Improvisation!"

"Good improvisation. Crazy, but good."

Igneel threw him upward, toward the rooftops.

Midoriya spun through the air and landed on the top of a smaller building, using the momentum to keep running.

Below, Todoroki was creating ice bridges between destroyed streets, allowing the Paladins to transport civilians without having to dodge every piece of debris falling from above. A huge chunk of concrete came crashing down over an evacuation route, and he raised an angled ramp to divert it.

"Bakugo, right!"

"I don't need you to tell me!"

He blew up three cars being pulled by the magnetic force, not to destroy them completely, but to divert them upward before they could hit a group of rescue heroes. Then he used another explosion to throw himself backward, escaping a beam that spun past only a few centimeters from his face.

"That bastard's throwing an entire city at us!"

"Very useful observation!" Todoroki replied, freezing a row of debris coming toward Midoriya.

"YOU WANNA GET BEAT UP, HALF-AND-HALF?!"

Igneel flew between the two of them.

"I love your energy. Terrible for teamwork, great for entertainment."

A new set of debris came falling diagonally, cutting off Midoriya's path across the rooftops. They were pieces of apartments, antennas, and an entire staircase torn from some nearby building.

Igneel dove diagonally and pierced through a mass of metal and concrete, melting the metallic parts and weakening the structure. Bakugo came right behind him and blew up the rest, creating a clean opening. Todoroki then launched ice from below, forming a temporary bridge to another rooftop.

Midoriya ran across it without slowing down.

"Thank you!"

The colossal arm of Wolfram returned.

This time, the gigantic hand came down over the avenue as if it was going to crush the entire area where they were advancing.

The metallic palm struck the avenue with an absurd impact, splitting the asphalt, crushing abandoned cars, and raising a wave of debris that advanced down the street like a wall. The entire avenue seemed to bend under the blow before being swept backward.

Midoriya widened his eyes.

"Everyone—!"

There was no time.

The shockwave swallowed everything.

Dust, concrete, metal, and wind exploded through the street in a gigantic cloud. Nearby facades cracked. Windows burst. The sound was so loud that, for a few seconds, not even the civilians' screams could be heard.

At the center of the colossus, Wolfram opened his metallic mouth and laughed.

His laughter echoed through the distorted city, amplified by the monstrous body of metal.

"Did you see that?!" his voice roared. "That's what happens when insects try to reach something above them!"

The colossus slowly raised its hand, leaving a destroyed avenue in its wake.

"Learn your place."

Not far from there, in a partially intact side street, Midoriya opened his eyes with difficulty.

He was on the ground.

Todoroki was a few meters beside him, kneeling and still dazed. Bakugo had fallen seated against a bent pole, growling in anger while trying to understand what had happened. Igneel went to them worriedly, the flames on his body flickering.

"Hey!" Igneel looked around, worried. "Are you guys alive?"

Midoriya brought a hand to his head.

"I... think so..."

Todoroki slowly stood up, looking at the place where they had been before.

"We were moved."

Bakugo frowned.

"Moved...? By who?"

That was when Igneel noticed.

A familiar blond was standing beside them, bent forward, one hand resting on his knee and the other holding a small bean bun between his teeth.

Dash.

He chewed slowly, swallowed with difficulty, and raised a thumb.

"Got here... in time."

Midoriya was left speechless.

"Dash...?"

The ground around them was marked by incandescent footprints. Several burned lines crossed the street in impossible patterns, going back and forth in every direction. It was not just near them. The marks spread across entire blocks.

Todoroki looked around, noticing civilians being left safely on all sides. People who had previously been scattered across the destroyed avenue were now in side streets, behind safer buildings, some still too confused to understand how they had gotten there.

The relief, however, lasted only a short while.

The city trembled again.

Everyone looked up.

Wolfram was lifting metal in massive amounts. From every side of the city, plates, beams, cars, destroyed robots, and entire pieces of buildings were being pulled into the sky. Two masses began to form above the colossus, growing quickly until they became perfect, gigantic cubes.

Their shadows covered several blocks.

Wolfram roared from inside the colossus:

"You want to save everyone?!"

The cubes kept growing.

"Let's see how you save the entire island!"

Midoriya froze for a second when he saw the scale of it.

Bakugo gritted his teeth.

"That bastard..."

Dash broke the silence by extending a box to Midoriya.

Midoriya blinked.

"Is that..."

"Melissa asked me to get it from her lab." Dash took a deep breath, still exhausted. "I got lost eleven times."

Midoriya took the box with both hands, speechless.

Dash pointed at him.

"Make the thirty-five seconds I lost worth it."

Midoriya stared at Dash for a moment.

Then he nodded.

"Leave it to me."

Moments later, the box was opened.

Inside it was the Full Gauntlet.

Midoriya fastened the equipment to his right arm with quick hands, his gaze firm despite the chaos around him. The support adjusted itself around his forearm, locking with a dry mechanical sound.

Bakugo cracked his hands.

"Then stop admiring the glove and run."

Todoroki had already created ice beneath his feet, preparing to advance.

Dash sat on the curb, exhausted, still holding the rest of the bun.

"I'll... cheer from here."

"You've done enough," Midoriya said.

Dash smiled weakly.

"I know. I just wanted to hear it."

Ahead of them, Wolfram lowered the colossus's arms.

The two gigantic cubes hovered over the city like artificial meteors.

Midoriya, Todoroki, Bakugo, and Igneel advanced.

The pillars came immediately.

Dozens of them tore through the ground, trying to stop their approach. Todoroki launched layers of ice across the asphalt, locking the first pillars at their base. Bakugo passed over them, destroying the ones that escaped with quick explosions. Igneel flew in a zigzag, opening corridors of fire between the metallic masses, while Midoriya ran along the path created by the three of them.

Wolfram noticed their approach.

"So persistent!"

The colossus moved one of its arms, and the first gigantic cube was launched.

It descended over the city like a mountain.

Igneel looked at Bakugo.

"Explosive, this one's ours!"

"Don't give me orders!"

Bakugo shot toward one side of the cube, spinning at high speed. Igneel took the opposite side, the flames compressing around his body as he spun like a flaming drill.

The two struck opposite sides at the same time.

Bakugo pierced one of the faces with a concentrated explosion that opened cracks across the entire cube. Igneel drilled through the other, melting the core of the structure from within. The two forces met in the center in a flash of orange and yellow.

HOWITZER IMPACT — HELL OF JANEIRO

The cube exploded.

Melted metal and fragments were launched in every direction, but Igneel opened a curtain of fire to push part of the debris upward, while Bakugo destroyed the larger pieces with additional explosions.

The second cube fell immediately after.

Much larger.

Straight into Midoriya's path.

Todoroki slid in front of him and planted his hand on the ground.

"Midoriya!"

An ice ramp began to form, rising at an absurd angle along the destroyed avenue. It was not smooth and simple; it had several layers of support underneath, thick enough to withstand the initial momentum, but still trembling under the weight of the air and the debris around it.

"Thanks, Todoroki!"

He ran up the ramp.

Full Cowling coursed through his body. The Full Gauntlet vibrated on his right arm. His steps broke superficial parts of the ice, but Todoroki reinforced the structure right behind him, keeping the path stable long enough.

The cube descended.

Its shadow swallowed Midoriya.

45%...

He stepped hard on the edge of the ramp.

The ice shattered beneath his feet.

Midoriya was launched into the sky.

As he rose, he felt that strange energy coursing through his body again. Ever since Takeda had healed him, his muscles responded better. Every movement felt cleaner, stronger, as if his body was in the best possible state.

"I feel... energized."

He pulled his right arm back.

The Full Gauntlet began absorbing the pressure of One For All.

The cube was right ahead.

Gigantic and unstoppable.

Midoriya gritted his teeth.

"Maybe..."

The green glow around him grew more intense.

"Maybe I can go beyond..."

He advanced like a shining star, remembering for an instant the image of All Might cutting through the sky to reach Wolfram.

"...all the way to one hundred and twenty percent!"

His right fist shone.

DETROIT—

He struck the cube.

—SMASH!

The impact pierced through the structure.

For an instant, the cube resisted.

Then green and white cracks spread across its entire surface. The mass of metal broke apart from the inside out, fragmenting into thousands of pieces before being pulverized by the pressure of the blow.

The shockwave opened a clean hole in the sky of debris.

Midoriya crossed through the center of the explosion, his right arm still extended, the Full Gauntlet smoking.

Down below, Todoroki looked up.

Bakugo widened his eyes for a second before gritting his teeth.

Igneel opened a wide smile.

Wolfram stood still at the center of the colossus, staring at the sky where the two cubes had just been destroyed.

For a few seconds, he said nothing.

The metallic chest of the colossus rose and fell slowly, accompanied by the green glow pulsing in its core. The plates of its face pressed against each other, creaking like teeth.

Then the rage came.

"Why...?"

His voice came out low at first.

"Why won't you just disappear already?!"

The colossus raised its two remaining arms, pulling even more metal from the destroyed streets. Pieces of buildings, cars, cables and beams were ripped from the ground and reorganized into thousands of pointed pillars around him.

"Just die already!"

The massive wave of pillars shot toward Midoriya and the others.

Bakugo prepared to advance.

Todoroki touched the ground.

Igneel intensified his flames.

But before any of them could act, a green glow appeared at the top of Tower-I.

Strong and intense.

Like a star ignited atop the destroyed structure.

Wolfram stopped.

The colossal head slowly turned toward the tower.

On the broken helipad, Ryo was standing.

The green aura around him rippled violently, lifting dust and small fragments from the ground. His dark hair swayed upward with the rhythm of the unstable energy, and his eyes shone with controlled but sharp intensity.

Melissa was a few meters behind him.

"Rito-kun..."

Ryo glanced sideways at her without fully turning his body.

"For now, I can only use 3%."

He flexed his fingers.

"But that's enough."

Melissa pressed her hands against her chest.

"I'm going."

Before she could say anything, Ryo threw himself off the tower.

His body fell freely along the side of Tower-I, passing the destroyed floors as the wind pulled at his hair and the burned remains of his suit.

For an instant, he closed his eyes.

He felt the air.

He felt the distance.

Then his eyes snapped open.

Green rings appeared in front of him.

Not just around his body.

An entire path.

Dozens of electromagnetic rings formed in the air in a straight line, extending from Tower-I toward Wolfram's colossus, all perfectly aligned like the invisible barrel of a cannon.

Ryo brought both hands behind him.

"Let's see if I can still do this right."

A massive explosion erupted from his palms and feet.

The thrust launched his body forward.

The instant he passed through the first ring, his speed increased.

At the second, it increased even more.

At the third, the air exploded around him.

Ryo crossed the sky of the island that was beginning to dawn like a hypersonic green line, leaving behind circular waves that tore through the low clouds and shattered the windows that were still intact in the city below.

Wolfram's eyes widened inside the colossus.

"F-Fast—!"

He raised the colossal left palm to protect himself.

Ryo pierced through it.

A green flash cut through the colossus's entire arm, from wrist to shoulder.

For one second, nothing happened.

Then the arm exploded into incandescent pieces.

The inertia destroyed the structure from the inside, scattering plates, beams and molten metal across the sky. Wolfram nearly toppled backward, the gigantic body losing balance before planting its other arm into the ground to stabilize itself.

"What...?"

He raised his head.

Ryo floated in front of him.

Tiny before that body of more than three hundred meters.

But his presence was heavy enough to make the colossus hesitate.

Wolfram let out a growl and swung his right arm in an inverted hook. The fist dragged across the ground, tearing through buildings and avenues before rising toward Ryo with enough force to easily sweep away entire blocks.

The blow landed.

But the colossal fist stopped in midair.

The shockwave passed behind Ryo and swept through the city below, raising dust and wind. Down there, Midoriya and the others were forced to cover themselves for a few seconds.

"Takeda!" Midoriya shouted, protecting his face.

When the dust cleared, Ryo was still in the same place.

With one hand pressed against the gigantic fist.

Unharmed.

Wolfram tried to push.

The arm did not move a single centimeter.

Then, slowly, he felt his own fist being forced back.

Ryo pushed the colossal mass of metal with only one hand, his face serious as he stared at that wall of steel covering almost his entire vision.

"Is that your maximum?"

Ryo narrowed his eyes.

"What a disappointment."

He pushed a little harder.

"It doesn't even come close to those colossal All Mights."

With a light movement of his palm, Ryo threw the metallic fist backward. The colossus's entire arm was pulled along with it, making Wolfram lose his balance for an instant.

Ryo looked directly at him.

"Allow me to demonstrate the level of intensity I faced in that place."

He disappeared.

Wolfram could barely follow him.

Ryo appeared in front of the colossus's abdomen and delivered a powerful kick.

The impact deformed the metallic torso inward, destroying and cracking the ground below as well.

The colossus arched violently, the entire structure creaking as if it were about to split apart. In the next second, Wolfram was launched backward with absurd force, dragging across the destroyed city, tearing through entire avenues and bringing down part of the structures he himself had ripped away.

The colossal body crossed the island until it hit the edge.

The impact broke part of I-Island's outer structure.

Then Wolfram fell into the ocean.

A wall of water rose on the horizon.

At the top of Tower-I, All Might, already in his skeletal form, watched the scene beside David. His face was tired, but his eyes remained fixed on Ryo.

David was speechless.

"What strength..."

All Might took a deep breath.

"Yes... This is the new generation of heroes after all."

Down below, the class also stared in shock.

Kaminari opened his mouth.

"Did he just... kick a mountain off the island?"

Jiro blinked a few times.

"That's what it looked like..."

Bakugo gritted his teeth.

"That bastard..."

Midoriya clenched his fists, his heart pounding hard.

"Takeda..."

In the ocean, Wolfram tried to steady himself.

The metallic colossus partially emerged from the water. Steam rose from the incandescent parts of the structure, and the green glow in its chest pulsed irregularly.

"No..." Wolfram growled. "I can't lose... I need more metal... More time!"

But time was something he did not have.

An intense green light appeared above him.

Wolfram looked up only to see a green star coming down toward him from above.

It was Ryo's right fist, glowing with the energy he was concentrating into it, dense and irregular. The aura around his arm looked unstable, almost wild, as if all his remaining power was being compressed into a single point.

Ryo stared down at Wolfram from above.

"You've probably already heard this word from All Might."

The glow around his fist intensified.

"But I'll do the honors of engraving it into your head permanently."

Wolfram tried to raise his arm, pulling metal from his own body to create a shield.

But it was already too late.

Ryo began to plummet.

The green energy behind him expanded like a luminous tail.

PLUUUUS—

The air around him distorted.

—UUUULLLTTTRRRAAAAA!!!

The fist descended.

Ryo punched downward with everything he had.

The accumulated energy transformed into an irregular green blast that descended like lightning against Wolfram. The beam struck the colossus at the top of the head and pierced through the reinforced layers of metal as if it were crushing a mountain.

Wolfram screamed.

But the sound was swallowed by the explosion.

A sphere of green light consumed the ocean.

The shockwave expanded in every direction, raising a wall of water and steam around the point of impact. The colossus was completely swept away by the detonation, its structure breaking into thousands of fragments before being swallowed by the sphere of light.

The explosion illuminated the entire side of I-Island, and for a few seconds, it looked as if a second sun had been born that morning.

But green.
