Chapter 27 - chapter 26

The Leviathan's Pardon — Rise of Valvas Authority

The next evening after the battle, Roy Valvas returned to the Valvas Mansion, bringing with him the once-feared Katerea Leviathan. In the grand council chamber, three of the most powerful devils awaited him:Darius Valvas, the wise and feared patriarch;Clara Valvas, the graceful yet formidable matriarch;and Zeckram Bael, Roy's great-grandfather, the ancient head of the Bael line and one of the oldest living devils of prestige.

Katerea knelt before them, head bowed. The vast hall fell silent as Roy stepped forward and explained everything—how the Old Satan remnants ambushed his territory, how Katerea had been betrayed by Shalba Beelzebub, and how she had chosen to surrender and reveal everything she knew.

When Roy finished, Darius's voice rumbled like thunder.

"So the Leviathan of ruin stands before us… not as an enemy, but as a victim of circumstance."

Clara rose from her seat, her presence calm but commanding.

"Child, raise your head."

Katerea hesitated, trembling, then lifted her gaze. Clara smiled softly.

"You have suffered enough. If my grandson vouches for you, then the Valvas name will shield you."

Katerea's eyes widened, disbelief and relief flooding through her. Roy stood silently beside her, offering reassurance through his calm nod.

Then Roy gestured, and a glowing crystal sphere appeared before them—Katerea's memories, projected by Roy's magic, showing the Old Satan Faction's hideouts, their leaders, and plans to destabilize the Underworld's balance. The images were shocking—lists of targets, hidden labs, alliances with exiled fallen angels, and corrupted noble devils.

⚖️ Council of the Four Satans

The following morning, Darius Valvas and Zeckram Bael convened an emergency summit at the Lucifer Tower in the capital of the Underworld.

Attending were the Four Maous:

Sirzechs Lucifer — the Crimson Satan, Roy's mentor and Darius's former pupil.

Serafall Leviathan — the cheerful but terrifying Ice Queen.

Ajuka Beelzebub — the genius inventor and fellow disciple of Darius.

Falbium Asmodeus — the strategist general of the Underworld.

Also present was Liana Gremory, Sirzechs's queen and wife, her face cold with fury as the reports were read aloud.

When the details of Katerea's intelligence were revealed, Serafall slammed her hand on the marble table.

"They dared to use my family name for rebellion again?!"

Sirzechs's aura darkened, shaking the room itself.

"Shalba Beelzebub… I'll see to him personally."

Ajuka calmly adjusted his glasses, his tone sharper than ice.

"The Valvas Clan just handed us the key to uprooting the entire faction. Deploy the legions—every lab, every safehouse, burn them all."

Darius nodded once.

"Already in motion."

Within hours, the Underworld army—led by the elite Lucifer Knights and Valvas Legion—descended upon the Old Satan faction's strongholds. One after another, their bases fell, and priceless intelligence caches were seized.By the end of the week, the Old Satan Faction's influence had collapsed by nearly seventy percent.

🌙 Freedom of the Fallen Leviathan

When the war reports returned victorious, Ajuka Beelzebub personally removed the "Most Wanted" order on Katerea Leviathan. Her crimes were pardoned by the Maou Council, citing "Redemption through critical service to the Underworld's peace."

The next day, Darius summoned her again.

"From this day forward, the Valvas Clan recognizes you as one of its own," he declared solemnly."Serve with loyalty, live with honor—and find peace under our banner."

Katerea fell to her knees, tears falling freely for the first time in centuries.

"I… swear it, Lord Darius. I will serve House Valvas with all that I am."

Roy smiled from where he stood beside her.

"Welcome home, Katerea."

And for the first time since the Devil Civil War, the name "Leviathan" shone again—not as a title of rebellion, but as a symbol of redemption.
