Chapter 74 - Chapter 74

The morning after the chaos of Halloween, Hogwarts stirred with rumors and fear, but Roy sat silently by his window, sunlight reflecting off his silver-white hair. He hadn't forgotten the faint, pure presence he'd sensed when purging the tiara the night before.

"That other soul…" he murmured. "It wasn't corrupted… who are you?"

He raised his hand, summoning his system interface, and commanded softly:

"System, scan remaining soul."

Golden light surrounded the tiara resting on his desk. The moment the scan completed, a calm chime rang in his mind.

[Soul Identity: Rowena Ravenclaw — Founder of Hogwarts]

Roy's eyes widened. Rowena Ravenclaw? One of the greatest witches in history—whose wisdom had laid the foundation of Hogwarts itself—was still lingering, bound to her own diadem.

Without hesitation, Roy activated Flame Travel, vanishing into his pocket dimension.

The world within was serene: a vast valley under a sapphire sky. But something new caught his attention—a grand stone mansion, elegant and refined, standing near the crystalline lake.

He felt a familiar aura behind him. Gardevoir, her silver sheen glowing in the soft light, bowed gracefully.

"Did you make this?" Roy asked, his voice warm with surprise.

She nodded shyly, hands clasped together. A faint blush dusted her cheeks as Roy gently patted her head.

"Well done. You're incredible."

Her blush deepened, and she smiled, vanishing with a telepathic hum of contentment.

Roy walked into the mansion, placing the tiara upon a pedestal in the central hall.He channeled a stream of divine mana, his eyes glowing with the light of the Dark Phoenix.

[System Command: Strengthen Soul of Rowena Ravenclaw — Confirm?]"Confirm."

Light poured from the tiara, swirling into a graceful figure—a woman in elegant robes, hair flowing like starlight, eyes as deep as twilight itself.

Rowena Ravenclaw had returned.

She blinked, then smiled faintly as her form stabilized.

"You… freed me," she said softly. Her voice was gentle but carried centuries of wisdom.

Roy bowed slightly. "It's an honor, Lady Ravenclaw. The horcrux within your diadem—its darkness is gone."

Rowena's expression hardened briefly. "That wretched man," she whispered. "He defiled what I created for wisdom with his obsession for immortality. Thank you, child, for purging his stain."

Roy nodded, and together they sat upon the balcony of the mansion overlooking the lake, the air filled with quiet serenity.

They talked for hours. Rowena spoke of the birth of Hogwarts, the dreams of its founders, and the endless debates with Godric, Helga, and Salazar.

At one point, she smiled, her tone mischievous.

"You should have seen Godric trying to duel Helga over who made the better pumpkin pudding. Or Salazar insisting his basilisk was just a misunderstood 'pet.'"

Roy laughed, shaking his head.

"I can't imagine a founder's meeting without at least one explosion."

Rowena chuckled softly. "You'd fit right in among us."

They spent the afternoon exchanging old tales and new jokes—Rowena's laughter light and unrestrained for the first time in centuries.

As twilight settled, Roy grew thoughtful. There was one question that had long puzzled him.

"Lady Rowena… I've read many theories about your lineage. Some say you married, others that Helena was your daughter. Which is true?"

Rowena's eyes softened with nostalgia.

"Ah, that rumor…" she said quietly. "I never married, Roy. Helena was not my child by birth. She was my sister's daughter. My sister died bringing her into the world, and I… I took her in. Raised her as my own."

Roy's eyes widened slightly. "So the great Rowena Ravenclaw was an adoptive mother all along?"

She smiled faintly, a touch of amusement in her tone.

"It was easier to let the world believe what it wished. People love their myths more than truth."

Roy chuckled, teasing lightly, "So the wisest of the founders was also the most mysterious."

Rowena's ethereal form flickered slightly, her translucent cheeks faintly pink.

"You are far too forward for a student," she muttered, though her smile betrayed her amusement.

"I've been told that before," Roy replied smoothly.

They shared one last laugh before he rose, the soft golden glow of evening enveloping them.

"Rest for now, Lady Ravenclaw. I'll find a way to restore your body."

Rowena looked at him, eyes shimmering with gratitude.

"You are a strange and brilliant boy, Roy Valvas. I look forward to seeing the man you become."

As he stepped out of the mansion, the air shimmered behind him. Gardevoir appeared briefly, her psychic aura flickering with curiosity as she sensed Rowena's calm presence within the mansion.

Roy glanced back once and smiled.

"Another soul saved. Another promise to keep."

The portal to reality shimmered open before him, and he vanished back to Hogwarts, the moonlight following his departure like a quiet blessing.
