The Domain of Violet was… loud.
Not in sound.
In presence.
The halls stretched wide and luxurious, decorated in deep purples and blacks, lit by soft, ambient light that felt almost theatrical. Every surface was polished. Every detail deliberate. The air itself carried a faint scent of wine and something sweeter beneath it.
It was a place that felt indulgent.
Dangerous.
And entirely hers.
Violet walked through the corridor with her usual grace, one hand lightly resting against her hip, the other lazily brushing along the wall as she moved.
Behind her walked two figures.
Chef.
And Butler.
Zonda and Veyron, though they did not yet carry those names.
Chef spoke first.
"The preparations for your meal are complete."
Violet smiled faintly.
"As expected."
Butler added calmly,
"The wine has also been prepared."
That got a slightly brighter reaction.
"Good."
She turned the corner.
And pushed open the doors to her dining hall.
The doors opened smoothly.
The long table stretched out before her, candles already lit, the entire room set perfectly—
Except for one thing.
At the far end of the table…
Someone was already sitting there.
Feet casually crossed.
One arm resting against the chair.
Holding a glass of her wine.
Violet stopped.
Chef and Butler froze behind her.
The figure took a slow sip.
Then set the glass down.
And smiled.
"It's been a while, Big Sister."
Silence.
Then Violet stepped fully into the room.
Her expression didn't change.
"What are you doing here…"
A pause.
"…Bordeaux."
Loki leaned back slightly in the chair.
"I go by Loki now."
Violet walked forward calmly.
"He has a name now," she said lightly.
"…How adorable."
She reached the table.
Then stopped beside him.
And flicked his forehead.
Not hard.
Just enough.
"You're drinking my wine."
Loki blinked once.
"…I was thirsty."
Violet sat down across from him.
"Without permission."
"That part was optional."
Chef and Butler stepped forward.
Both bowed slightly.
"Loki-sama."
Loki waved lazily.
"Hey."
Chef moved to Violet's side, placing dish after dish in front of her with perfect precision.
Then glanced toward Loki.
"Should I prepare a meal for him as well?"
Violet didn't even look up.
"No."
Loki leaned back.
"…Cold."
Violet picked up her glass.
Took a sip.
Then looked at him.
"Get to the point."
No pleasantries.
No wasted time.
Loki grinned.
"Straight to business, huh?"
"Yes."
He rested his chin on his hand.
"I'm here to recruit you."
Violet didn't react immediately.
Just took another sip of wine.
Then—
She laughed.
Soft at first.
Then louder.
"Recruit me?"
Her eyes gleamed.
"You?"
Loki shrugged.
"I'll give you a name."
He leaned forward slightly.
"And a body."
That got her attention.
Not outwardly.
But enough.
Still—
She smiled.
"Bold."
Loki smiled back.
"It is practical."
Violet set her glass down.
Then leaned back in her chair.
"And if I refuse?"
Loki tilted his head.
"Then I'll leave."
A pause.
"…After beating you."
The room went still.
Chef stopped moving.
Butler's gaze sharpened slightly.
Violet's smile widened.
"Oh?"
She stood.
Slowly.
Gracefully.
Her presence shifted.
The air in the room grew heavier.
More dangerous.
"You want to fight me."
Loki stood as well.
"Yes."
Violet's eyes gleamed.
"Here?"
"Here."
A pause.
Then—
She smiled.
"Fine."
She stepped back.
The entire dining hall warped.
Space stretched.
Expanded.
The walls pulled outward, the floor widened, the ceiling rose—
And in an instant, the room had become a battlefield.
Violet rolled her shoulders once.
"If I win…"
She looked at him.
"You become mine."
Loki grinned.
"If you win."
That was enough.
She moved first.
Fast.
Too fast for most beings to even perceive.
Her body blurred forward, hand already reaching, aiming to tear straight through his chest—
Loki moved.
Just slightly.
Her attack passed beside him.
Missed completely.
Violet's eyes sharpened.
'He dodged?'
She twisted mid-motion, launching another strike immediately—
Loki stepped inside her range.
Too close.
His hand moved.
A single palm strike.
It hit her center mass.
The impact—
Exploded.
Violet was sent flying across the hall, crashing into the far wall with enough force to crack it instantly.
She landed.
Slid.
Stopped.
Silence.
Chef and Butler didn't move.
They couldn't.
Violet slowly stood.
Her smile remained.
But it had changed.
"…I see."
She vanished.
Reappeared behind him.
A kick aimed at his head—
Loki leaned forward slightly.
The kick missed.
His elbow moved backward.
Connected.
Violet's body folded slightly from the impact.
Then he grabbed her arm.
Turned.
And slammed her into the ground.
Hard.
The entire hall shook.
Violet coughed once.
Then laughed.
"…This is fun."
She surged up again.
This time faster.
Stronger.
Her movements sharpened, her strikes coming in rapid succession, each one aimed to kill.
Loki moved with grace.
Step.
Dodge.
Counter.
Every attack she launched—
Missed.
Every opening she left—
Punished.
A strike to her ribs.
A kick to her side.
A grab.
A throw.
She was being—
Handled.
Violet realized it.
And that realization changed everything.
Her smile faltered.
Just slightly.
'…This isn't close.'
She attacked again.
Faster.
More desperate.
Loki stepped past her.
Grabbed her wrist.
Pulled.
And drove his knee into her stomach.
The air left her lungs instantly.
She staggered.
And for the first time—
She felt it.
The gap.
It wasn't small.
It wasn't manageable.
It was overwhelming.
'…I'm going to lose.'
Her eyes widened.
That thought alone triggered instinct.
Survival.
Without hesitation—
She turned.
And ran.
Space warped around her as she tried to escape the domain entirely.
Nullify the outcome.
Reset the fight.
But—
She didn't make it.
A hand grabbed her face mid-motion.
Everything stopped.
Then—
SLAM.
Her body was driven into the ground with crushing force.
The floor shattered beneath her.
Cracks spread outward like a web.
Loki stood over her.
Hand still gripping her face.
Smiling.
Not cruelly.
Not gently.
Just—
Confidently.
"You're not getting away."
Violet's breath hitched.
She couldn't move.
Loki crouched slightly.
Still holding her down.
Then said, casually—
"You're my subordinate now."
Silence filled the hall.
Chef and Butler remained completely still.
Because they both understood.
The fight had ended long before this moment.
Violet lay there.
Eyes wide.
Breathing uneven.
