Chapter 534 - Chapter 534: Final Form

Whatever was happening on that distant battlefield, Kaido and Vegeta had clearly run into an unfathomable nightmare.

Goku took several deep breaths, forcibly calming his chaotic Ki. He turned back to face Akainu.

"We're done fighting," Goku declared firmly. "Something terrible has happened over there. The owner of that Ki is planning to blow up the entire planet. I have to go stop him."

Akainu remained silent. He deactivated his Bankai, the charred blade reverting to its ordinary Asauchi form as the blistering heat rapidly dissipated. Sheathing his sword, he bent down and retrieved the Dragon Radar.

"The pirate, Kaido, is in that direction," Akainu stated coldly. "He holds three of the Dragon Balls. Judging by the intelligence Blake provided, that aura belongs to the alien known as Frieza."

Akainu recalled the briefing. Frieza was an Emperor of the Universe, capable of undergoing multiple transformations. From the sheer scale of the power, it was obvious that the idiotic Yonko had pushed Frieza into his final state.

Hearing Frieza's name, Goku immediately remembered King Kai's dire warning to avoid the tyrant at all costs. But the Saiyan blood pumping through his veins refused to let him flee. Krillin and Gohan were still on this planet. He had to protect them.

"I'm heading over," Goku said. "Are you coming?"

Akainu scoffed. "Absolute Justice does not flee. Besides, I require those Dragon Balls."

Goku nodded, sparing no further attention for Doflamingo before launching himself into the sky, rocketing toward the direction of Frieza's outburst like a shooting star. Akainu morphed his lower half into bubbling magma and blasted off in pursuit, matching the Saiyan's extreme speed.

Down in the pit, Doflamingo watched them leave. Gritting his teeth, he retrieved a spool of pure white thread from his coat. Utilizing his Devil Fruit abilities, he began carefully stitching his ruptured internal organs back together. He absolutely refused to die here; he had spent far too much money on this endeavor. He was going to walk back into Partys Bar alive.

Once the makeshift surgery was complete, Doflamingo staggered to his feet. Glancing toward the horizon, his innate curiosity and insatiable greed for power finally managed to eclipse his terror. He had to know. He needed to see what kind of entity was capable of radiating such a despair-inducing aura. He took off, keeping a safe distance behind the Admiral and the Saiyan.

Thousands of kilometers away, the epicenter of the battlefield had been completely terraformed. The previously lush mountains and sprawling lakes had been erased, leaving nothing but a barren, flattened wasteland.

Frieza stood dead center in the desolate expanse. His physical appearance had changed drastically. The towering, heavily armored stature of his Second Form was gone. In its place stood a sleek, diminutive, snow-white creature with smooth purple bio-gem plating on his head and joints.

This was Frieza's Final Form. His body bore no excessive, bulging muscles, boasting an incredibly streamlined, elegant aesthetic. Standing with his arms casually crossed over his chest, a refined yet deeply sadistic smile graced his lips.

A hundred meters away, Kaido lay broken on the ground. His imposing Demon Dragon Body was littered with deep, bone-exposing gashes. The horrific wounds refused to close; the unparalleled regeneration of his OC template had been entirely nullified by Frieza's overwhelming attacks. The legendary Hassaikai had been snapped into three pieces. Kaido choked on his own blood, his eyes wide with utter disbelief. He hadn't even been able to track Frieza's movements before nearly every bone in his body was shattered.

Vegeta was kneeling in the dirt nearby. His towering pride as the Prince of all Saiyans had been entirely pulverized. He was trembling violently, tears streaming uncontrollably down his face. He finally understood that his desperate gamble on a near-death power boost was a pathetic joke. Frieza's battle power had transcended the very concept of numerical measurement.

Frieza glanced down at the two broken warriors.

"What a dreadfully boring farce this turned out to be," Frieza spoke, his tone chillingly calm. "The pointless struggles of a wild monkey and a repulsive reptile end here. As a reward for amusing me, I shall vaporize this pathetic mudball and reduce you to cosmic dust along with it."

He lazily raised a single index finger. A tiny, glowing red spark no larger than a fingernail materialized at the tip. Within that microscopic sphere lay enough raw energy to annihilate the entire planet.

Just as he prepared to flick it downward, Frieza paused, turning his head toward the distant horizon.

"Oh?" Frieza mused, raising a hairless brow. "It seems two slightly larger insects are flying this way. I suppose I can delay the fireworks for a few more minutes."

The silhouettes of Goku and Akainu broke the skyline. The true battle of absolute despair was about to begin.

. . .

Goku's boots slammed heavily into the cracked Namekian soil, kicking up a massive cloud of dust. Akainu landed right beside him, the heat radiating from his body quickly dispersing the debris.

Frieza stood with his arms crossed, his gaze dripping with patronizing contempt as he evaluated the newcomers as if they were trash on the roadside.

From within a shallow crater, Kaido coughed violently, spitting up a glob of black blood and organ tissue. Using the shattered hilt of his Hassaikai as a crutch, he forced himself up. One of his arms hung at a grotesque angle, and nearly all the scales on his chest had been violently torn away.

"Akainu, you Marine dog," Kaido rasped. "You're too damn slow."

"Shut your mouth, pirate," Akainu retorted coldly.

He stared intensely at Frieza's diminutive form. He couldn't sense any elemental manipulation—no extreme heat, no freezing cold—yet his Observation Haki was screaming in a continuous loop of terror. It was the primal, instinctual dread of facing immediate death. The pressure radiating off this alien was even more suffocating than standing before Blake himself.

"Are you the ruler of this planet?" Akainu asked, drawing his Asauchi. The blade trembled slightly in his grasp—a mixture of adrenaline and genuine fear.

Frieza chuckled softly, the sound grating and condescending. "Ruler? No. I am the Emperor of this universe." He elegantly tapped a finger against his pristine forehead. "My battle power is a number your primitive minds couldn't possibly comprehend."

Goku took a step forward, his fists clenched tight. Despite the terror, his body was vibrating with raw excitement.

"I'm Son Goku," he declared. "You're Frieza, right? Your Ki is incredibly evil, but it's also incredibly strong. I've never met anyone with power like yours."

Frieza sneered. "Another Saiyan. Is this the pathetic backup that useless Vegeta dragged here?"

He glanced over at Vegeta, who was still paralyzed on the ground, his eyes vacant and devoid of hope, utterly broken by the sheer magnitude of Frieza's presence.

"Kaido, is this our primary target?" Akainu asked, ignoring Frieza's taunt.

Kaido let out a bloody, manic grin. "That's right. He's the final boss. If we kill him, we get the highest-tier rewards from the Dungeon Shop. But fair warning, Akainu... this bastard is absurdly strong."

Akainu took a slow, deep breath, the magma in his veins churning furiously. Even though they were worlds away from the Grand Line, he was still an Admiral of the Marines.

"If it is a directive from the shop manager, it will be executed."
