Chapter 31 - The Council

The Council selects 100 players who could potentially influence the fate of the game

chosen solely based on their power and abilities.

The Council can punish the following:Lying debuffProviding false informationDisrespect toward the CouncilExcessive display of powerAvoid these…

The Council does not discriminate by level.

It does not discriminate by popularity.

It does not discriminate by ranking.

The system evaluates only one thing:

1. A player's potential to either destroy or save the world.

This is afate algorithm.

Even the Rank 1 player may not qualify for the Council…

But a level -5 Kaelion can.

Entering the Council = the game telling you:

(You matter.)

Council members exist entirely under the status:

Potential Threat / Potential Hope

Every player is either a threat to the world, a hope for it, or a force that could disrupt the chaotic balance.

Players cannot die or damage each other in the Council.

However, once outside, this protection disappears.

Currently, Kaelion is technically at:

HP -1200 / +5 (+1000)

Suspended by Fate's Reprieve, Held in a space without time.

The Council is not a blessing, It merely postpones death.

Council members can never fight one another.

The 100 players are in a TOTEM-sealed zone.

Their external powers do not manifest here.

No one has the right to attack anyone else.

Only battles of ideas, aura comparisons, and vote-based decisions exist.

System Message… The meeting is about to begin…

Kaelion: What is this? I'm being teleported somewhere else…

(He finds himself sitting at a table.)

He looks around, there are 14 people at the table…
