Lady M?
She wasn't dead?
She actually wasn't dead!
Inside 6 Daffodil Street, the woman welcoming the Londor siblings wore white robes, her hair crimson as blood.
Her golden eyes rested coldly on Silas, yet her delicate, beautiful face bore a gentle, loving smile.
Gentle, cruel, beautiful, evil. Lady M seemed to be a woman who embodied all these contradictory words mixed together.
The moment he saw her face clearly, immense confusion and terror struck Silas simultaneously. He couldn't help freezing for an instant.
"Silas, who's speaking?"
Behind him came Cecilia's puzzled voice, which instantly brought him back to his senses.
Run!
The thought of protecting his sister overcame his terror. Silas gritted his teeth and reached into his coat for the bone flute and clown doll.
At least let Cecilia escape...
"Be quiet. Don't move."
Just then, he met Lady M's dazzling pupils, bright as molten gold.
All movement immediately stopped.
Silas obediently lowered his arms and, along with Cecilia behind him, who was similarly controlled, entered the house and closed the door.
Stay calm, stay calm. I still have my cheat ability; I can resist hypnosis. Silas told himself internally, waiting for the phantom sound of tides to appear in his mind.
Then he watched in despair as Cecilia, eyes vacant, walked past him forward until Lady M drew her into an embrace.
"A very beautiful dress, Silas. You treat your sister very well." She examined Cecilia's pale purple gown with appreciation. "She's pretty, too. The Londor family bloodline is truly excellent."
The phantom sound of tides belatedly rang out. Silas regained his freedom. But he took a deep breath and didn't act. With Cecilia under the woman's control, he didn't dare make any rash moves.
"Wait, who are you? Why are you in my house?"
Cecilia, held in Lady M's arms, slowly regained the light in her eyes.
Finding herself embraced by a strange, beautiful woman, she said in surprise.
"I'm your brother's friend. I've come to help you both."
Lady M smiled as she spoke to her.
Anyone unaware of her true nature would probably be deceived by her charming appearance and smile, mistaking her for some kind of good person.
"Help us?"
"That's right. I want to help you both know the greatness of the Lord..."
"Cecilia, don't listen to her!"
Seeing Lady M actually trying to proselytize to his sister, Silas couldn't help shouting to stop her.
Lady M paused, smiled as she glanced at Silas, then raised her right hand toward him, making the shape of a gun, her index finger wearing a red rose ring aimed at him.
"Bang."
She said.
With a "poof," a bloody hole immediately appeared at Silas's heart. He clutched his chest with a pained expression and slowly collapsed.
"Silas!"
Cecilia cried out, shoving Lady M away. She instinctively wanted to run toward Silas, but suddenly stopped, glanced at Lady M, then turned and rushed into the kitchen.
His heart beat with difficulty as muscles stretched and repaired. Silas was powerless all over, fallen on the ground, temporarily unable to get up.
"Don't move."
Lady M walked before Silas and used psychological suggestion to control him again.
"Guess what your sister is going to do?"
She looked toward the kitchen, asking cheerfully.
Silas glared at her furiously, unable to speak due to the psychological suggestion.
Just a few seconds later, Cecilia burst out from the kitchen, now holding a gleaming kitchen knife.
"Get away from my brother!"
She raised the knife and shouted at Lady M, her small body letting out a resounding roar, like a mother tiger protecting her cub.
For ease of movement, she had already torn open that expensive gown.
Run!
Silas wanted Cecilia to escape, but couldn't make a sound at all.
"And if I refuse?"
Lady M asked with a smile.
Hearing her say this, Cecilia immediately raised the knife and stabbed Lady M without hesitation, just as she had once stabbed Sirius to save Silas.
"How touching."
Lady M praised. She didn't dodge. Instead, she spread her arms, like a mother welcoming a running child, and embraced Cecilia.
"Poof!"
The kitchen knife was immediately stabbed into Lady M's abdomen, blood flowing profusely.
But she showed no sign of pain.
Instead, she used her arms to lock Cecilia in place with tremendous strength, her hand reaching into the torn wound, forcibly digging out a lump of her own flesh and blood!
Then, amid Cecilia's fierce struggles, Lady M firmly yet gently controlled her and forcibly fed her own flesh into Cecilia's mouth.
"Get away!"
Silas broke through the control again, leaping up and ringing the clown doll in his coat. Seeing Cecilia being fed dangerous flesh, he simply couldn't bear it!
"Ahahahaha!"
In the harsh, unpleasant laughter from the clown on his chest, his speed suddenly accelerated.
He rushed to Lady M's side, raising his pistol in her blind spot behind her back.
Silas's situation was truly desperate, with mere Sequence 9 confronting a Sequence 5 Shepherd, and with a hostage no less. He felt like he was charging toward death itself!
Fire the gun, at least people outside will hear it...
However, before Silas could pull the trigger, flames suddenly rose before his eyes.
Lady M appeared abruptly in front of him.
His mouth suddenly filled with a fishy sweetness as something was stuffed inside. The thing seemed alive, wriggling rapidly downward, drilling into his stomach before he could swallow.
Then, that thing began to rampage inside Silas's body.
"Ahhh!"
His heart felt like it was being gnawed on, his intestines yanked hard, his kidneys squeezed tight.
Not one of his internal organs escaped torment!
"Does it hurt? How pitiful."
Lady M held him and spoke softly, her pale, slender fingers gently stroking his face, as if she weren't the one bringing Silas this pain.
After who knows how long, the pain finally gradually receded. That lump retreated back into Silas's stomach and lay quiet and still.
Silas opened his eyes to see Cecilia looking equally weak. It seemed they had both been forcibly fed Lady M's flesh.
"What exactly do you want?"
Silas said through gritted teeth. "I'm the one who ruined your plan. It has nothing to do with my sister."
The Aurora Order's people were all incomprehensible lunatics, but in this situation, he could only stall by speaking first.
But Silas's heart was ice cold. He had destroyed Lady M's wish and nearly killed her. How could their enmity possibly be easily resolved?
Lady M looked at him with a smile.
"What I want to do, I already said just now."
She said it just now?
Silas recalled briefly. What Lady M had said earlier was...
"Help me?"
He spoke these words aloud, finding them utterly absurd himself. Lady M had such deep enmity with him. Could she really help him?
"That's right."
Yet Lady M actually smiled and nodded.
"I've come to help you advance further in mysticism. I can sense that you've completely digested the Secrets Suppliant potion.
So, how about it? Do you want to advance to Sequence 8 Listener?"
She asked this way, her gentle voice seemingly filled with a certain malice.
