Sonia Sea, inside a certain inn on Toscart Island.
While his virtual persona attended the gathering above the gray fog, Silas himself wasn't idle either.
He stroked his cat with one hand while taking stock of the gains from this battle at the palace with the other.
Aside from symbolically slapping the royal family in the face, he had truly obtained two things.
First, a new lamb: the corrupted evil spirit of Medici Sauron Einhorn.
This designation was truly awkward to say, and since Medici had always been in the dominant position, Silas still planned to call Him Medici.
The evil spirit itself only had the level of Sequence 4 from the Hunter pathway, but His original standing had been very high, at the angel level of Sequence 1.
With the aid of that tide of the sea, His strength could temporarily increase.
Although He could still only release Sequence 4 abilities, their power and intensity would greatly improve.
Of course, this required Silas to go all out, transforming his own body into a river of blood state and also merging that tide of the sea into it.
This placed an enormous burden on him, practically risking his life, and wouldn't be used unless absolutely necessary.
The evil spirit brought more trouble than anything. He was constantly eroding Silas's spirit, trying to claim his body as His own.
Silas had to advance to Sequence 4 as quickly as possible to have a chance at complete control.
As for the second gain, it was the object Silas was currently toying with in his hand.
It was a normal-sized tarot card, depicting a peculiar image: a chariot racing forward, driven by a male priest in a deep crimson robe. T
he wheel tracks it crushed burned with flames, as if bringing endless conflict into this world.
That priest's face was unmistakably Roselle's.
A Blasphemy Card!
The reward Medici had shown him at the time to tempt him into breaking the seal!
"Meow~"
Luna was very interested in the shining "Sequence 0: Red Priest" words formed by starlight on the card and kept trying to reach out with her paw to touch it, but Silas kept pressing it down.
The "Red Priest" card!
The sequence it represented was the Hunter.
It must have been due to the convergence principle of extraordinary items that this card gradually gathered into the "Red Angel's" hands.
When Silas grazed Medici, he naturally obtained it as well.
In other words, he had simultaneously obtained the high standing of the "Hunter" pathway and the potion formulas for the entire sequence!
"The face of the demon on the Abyss card before was also Roselle's... This predecessor really is narcissistic."
Silas looked at the priest's face on the card and couldn't help but shake his head.
"I just wonder what he looks like on the 'Witch' card... in women's clothing?"
Looking at the beard on Roselle's face, he couldn't help but feel a chill and gave up imagining it.
"Whoosh!"
Just then, crimson light surged from the void.
The gathering had ended. His virtual persona shattered upon returning, transforming into pure memory flowing into his head.
Clues about Groselle's Travels... gold pounds income... giving The Hanged Man the formula and main ingredients... World really is Klein after all.
He quickly processed the information, grasping everything that had happened at the gathering.
Very good.
Next, he'd hold a ritual to send over the materials while receiving the gold pounds.
The collection of "Black Knight" potion materials was going smoothly. He was only missing one auxiliary ingredient.
He could ask the Queen, and also about the mermaid matter while he was at it.
Silas thought to himself, and his hand stroking the cat paused.
"What was that just now?"
Suddenly, someone spoke up.
Silas was slightly startled, then looked down at his own chest.
The one speaking to him was none other than Medici within his body.
This was the first time He had spoken after being quiet for so long, and His tone seemed somewhat serious.
This guy can sense the aura of the gray fog?
In other words, this aura could even make Him pay such attention to it. It must be extraordinary.
"None of your business."
Silas steadied himself and didn't tell Him.
"Tch."
Medici seemed to give a cold laugh and retreated deeper into Silas's body.
But Silas knew this guy absolutely had ways to observe his every move.
Just like earlier, pretending not to pay attention to him while actually constantly monitoring the information around him, ready to use it against him.
As expected, the Hunter pathway was just this cunning.
Silas lifted his head and looked to the side.
There, the hazy M sat on a chair in the inn, though how she managed to sit on it without a physical body was anyone's guess.
He exchanged a glance with M, the general meaning being, "Don't casually mention hidden matters in the future.
Medici is eavesdropping."
The latter, worthy of being a persona that mastered the Psychology pathway, immediately understood with a nod.
After that, Silas summoned the hazy tide of the sea and completely surrounded Medici's flesh with it, thoroughly blocking His perception.
Only then did he find the inn's servant, hypnotize him to perform a sacrifice ritual on his behalf, offering up the "Wind-blessed" extraordinary characteristic while simultaneously receiving the gold pounds The Hanged Man had given him.
The main ingredient for Wind-blessed came from a lamb grazed by Mr. A.
And because of the authority of that hazy ocean, Silas could freely use abilities from the "Spectator" and "Sailor" pathways.
So although Wind-blessed abilities were quite useful at sea, immediately transferring them to The Hanged Man wasn't much of a loss.
He then transferred most of the money, along with the conspicuous "Red Priest" card, to that side of the sea before ending the blockade on the Red Angel.
"Heh... truly cowardly."
This was how Medici evaluated Silas. Silas simply pretended not to hear, because being provoked by Him meant losing.
After smoothly concluding the Tarot Club, he finally relaxed a bit.
He enjoyed local delicacies for dinner, spent a quiet night at the inn, and then left Toscart Island the next day, returning to the "Queen Mystic's" Dawn.
"Are you ready?"
Bernadette asked.
Perhaps because she was on the ship, her attire was more neutral.
She wasn't wearing a skirt but rather a shirt and trousers, looking more like a captain.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
Silas said, holding his cat.
Perhaps it was his imagination, but the Queen seemed more tired than yesterday.
As for M, she had disappeared the moment the Queen's ship appeared on the horizon.

After Silas boarded, the massive "Dawn" set off again.
Though there was no wind, its sails automatically billowed, heading toward the deeper east, where dangerous waters that ordinary ships dared not approach lay.
Yet from the outside, this sea area seemed no different from the surrounding waters.
"By the way, Your Majesty, I wanted to ask, do you have any Shadow Knight's black liquid?"
During a lull in the Dawn's rapid advance, Silas asked.
"The auxiliary material for advancing to Black Knight, right? I do."
Her answer delighted him. "Five hundred gold pounds."
"That's wonderful."
Silas smiled, not particularly concerned about the price.
After reaching Sequence 4, various materials basically became very difficult to measure by price.
"Do you know where mermaids can be found? The one you summoned before, was that a mermaid?"
He asked again.
