As long as you hurt someone deeply, even if you make an effort to stay...they won't forgive and forget easily

Tara watched silently in the corner as Hardin made her breakfast....she wondered why he was putting in so much effort, was it to get her forgiveness or ...
Hardin Cruz!
"Good morning" Hardin greeted her, as soon as he saw her, lazying in the corner.
"Good morning" she replied, dragging herself to the breakfast table.
She sat down before he could say anything.
"Hardin, why are you doing all this?" She asked, implying all the things he'd done.
"Because....I want to..." He replied, setting her pancakes on the table.
"And I told you...I'm here to stay" he added, looking her straight in the eyes.
"Ohhhh! You're here to stay...and without my approval?" She asked....her voice hinted sarcasm.
She was still upset.
"Tara....." Before he could complete his sentence, she stood up and pulled him by his collar, dragging him outside.
"You can save it," she said, as soon as they reached the doorstep.
"You're still upset?" Hardin asked confused.
But it should be obvious by now
"Very." She replied before she slammed the door on his face and locked it.
"Come on! I thought you'd thought about it!" Hardin complained from outside, but it was of no use.
"So full of himself thinking I'll forgive him that easily, he should know that by now" Tara was as confident as ever of herself.
She didn't open the door again.
Outside, Hardin knocked again and again suddenly, his phone rang. The dean at the hospital needed him, it was an emergency and he had to leave right away.
Before he left, he noted down something on a piece of paper and slid it under Tara's door, hoping she'd read it soon.
Tara saw the note and read it indeed.
"Hospital emergency"

~~~~AT THE HOSPITAL~~~~~
In the patient's ward, a female patient cried nonstop, she wasn't letting any other doctor touch her....she wanted Dr Hardin Cruz.
The nurses tried to calm her down, but it was pointless. Hardin later arrived at the hospital, only to find the same patient that came every now and then.
Dana Jruke
"Dr Hardin, you finally came" she stopped crying the moment she saw him.
She was pretending
"Ms. Dana, how can I help you?" Hardin softky asked.
As a doctor by profession, he loved his work and would attend to anyone in need, even though some like Dana just came to flirt with him at the hospital.... pretending to be injured.
"Doctor, my hand hurts, I need your help"she replied, throwing herself at him.
Didn't she have any self respect!
"Ma'am please show concern for the other patients around" Hardin said, helplessly trying to get rid of her.
"Doctor Hardin, I know you're single ..I can give you anything you want...just accept to be my boyfriend" she whispered, wrapping her hands around him.
Shameless indeed
"Miss, sorry but I already have a girlfriend" Hardin replied, taking her hands off himself and walked out of the ward.
"What?" Dana was left speechless. Who was able to win the heart of Hardin Cruz.....after her multiple trials over the last two months, someone did it in only two days.
She followed him outside.
"Doctor Hardin! That's not possible! How can you get a girlfriend in just mere days, are you playing with me?" Dana asked confused.
Hardin didn't have to explain himself! Dana was a hopeless case. The dean rushed him here because of her.....if Tara found out, she'd never forgive him.
He saw Gary coming and used h as an excuse to run away from her.
"Get out of my way! I need Dr Hardin, not you" She implied to Gary.
"Lady!!! Can't you see my boss doesn't have anything to do with you. Stop bothering him" Gary replied, blocking her way.

Tara stared at the note Hardin had left,
Hospital emergency
Was it really a hospital emergency? Since they were in highschool, she remembered clearly how it was his dream to be a doctor. If that was the case, she wouldn't stop him from doing what he loved.
Her phone rang multiple times, Hardin called her, but she didn't pick up....the last person who called her was unexpected! Her dad..
"Hi daddy" she said as soon as she picked up.
"I'm just checking in...your mom told me you didn't sleep at home," her dad said.
"Dad! I'm okay, I was at a friend's house" she lied.
"As long as you're fine, I'm coming home tonight! We'll be having dinner...I hope you found yourself a good bodyguard..I want to meet him tonight!" Her dad suddenly reminded her.
"Uh yes! Dad, you'll meet tonight and I promise you'll like him" she replied.
"Ummm..dad, I have to do something, I'll hang up now!" She said before she hang up abruptly.
She needed Hardin Cruz. She immediately dailed his number, but this time, he also didn't pick up.
"Now you're really testing my patience Hardin Cruz" Tara thought to herself before she grabbed her car keys and left, heading for the hospital.
Meanwhile...Dana was still harassing Hardin at the hospital, she wasn't going to leave until she got a straight answer from him.
This woman
"I can't believe that you have a girlfriend, I need to see her for myself in order to believe it" she was hell bent on staying.
Just go away already
Hardin thought of many ways to get rid of her, she almost threw herself at him again but Tara made an unexpected entrance, standing between her and Hardin.
"Tara Montesino, it's you again!" Dana yelled in surprise.
"Yes. It's me, its always me Dana, what do you think you're doing harassing my boyfriend" she'd heard everything.
"He's not your boyfriend!" Dana snapped at her, trying to hit her but Hardin shielded her.
"I am. She's my girlfriend" he repeated her words, reassuring Dana and even held her hand to prove it.
"It's not true. It can't be true" Dana threw a tantrum.
Tara was taking away everything she loved....and she wasn't even trying.
"Please excuse us" Tara said before she pulled Hardin towards his cabin, leaving behind a fuming Dana.
"Hospital emergency! Seriously! You were with another woman !" Tara got angry at him instead.
This was what he was afraid of
What was he going to explain now??
