Although Ash had already anticipated a massive leap in strength after Pichu evolved into Pikachu, the moment the system panel fully unfolded before his eyes, he was still completely stunned.
Level: LV.30
Abilities: Static, Lightning Rod
After evolution, Pikachu's level jumped from LV.26 → LV.30, a direct four-level leap. This increase alone was already astonishing—twice the level boost Frogadier and Pidgeotto had received upon evolution. On top of that, its Hidden Ability, Lightning Rod, had officially awakened.
Ordinarily, any one of these changes would've made Ash ecstatic.
But compared to what followed, they felt almost… ordinary.
HP: 100
Attack: 100
Defense: 100

Sp. Def: 100

Every single stat.
Perfect.
Flawless.
Six stats. All at 100. A total of 600.
Ash stared blankly at the panel.
"Are you sure this is Pikachu… and not Mew, Celebi, or Jirachi pretending to be one?"
A 6×100 stat distribution—wasn't this something exclusive to Mythical Pokémon?
Why did Pikachu have the same kind of stat ceiling?
Was it because of its Gold-tier potential, combined with being favored by the world's destiny?
Or was there some other unknown factor at play?
Or perhaps… all of the above?
Of course, having an outrageously strong Pikachu was nothing but a good thing. Ash didn't dwell too deeply on the mystery.
After all, Pokémon were creatures of wonder. Even legends like Professor Oak couldn't fully explain many of the phenomena surrounding them—let alone a "rookie" Trainer like Ash.
Compared to the Mythical-tier stat panel, what truly caught Ash's attention was the special note in the Potential section.
Potential: 0.57% (Gold)
★ Favored by the world's destiny, bearing an unfathomable miraculous power. Pikachu is a final form and can no longer evolve!
…
"…So Pikachu is already the final form?" Ash murmured, surprised.
After a moment's thought, however, he accepted it.
A Pikachu blessed by the world's destiny, carrying miraculous power—this was clearly no ordinary case. Normal logic simply didn't apply.
After all, a 6×100 Mythical-tier stat panel had already appeared. Compared to that, the system declaring Pikachu unable to evolve further felt… reasonable.
With stats already maxed at 600, evolving again would probably push it into first-tier Legendary territory.
"No wonder," Ash mused.
"In the original story, after losing to Lt. Surge's Raichu in Vermilion City, my past self once considered using a Thunder Stone."
"Turns out Pikachu is already the final form. Even with a Thunder Stone, it wouldn't be able to evolve into Raichu."
"The original Ash being overly cautious about Thunder Stones really was unnecessary… but of course, he didn't know the truth. I only know this because of the system."
Ash shook his head lightly.
Looking at the newly unlocked move list:
Novice (1/100): Growl, Quick Attack, Double Team, Electro Ball, Feint, Spark, Agility, Slam
Aside from the level jump, Hidden Ability awakening, Mythical-tier stats, and evolution lock, Pikachu had also learned quite a few new moves.
But compared to everything else, these additions felt almost trivial.
Ash crouched down and looked at Pikachu seriously.
"Pikachu, normal Pikachu still has Raichu as an evolution path, but for you, evolving into Pikachu is already the end."
"But don't worry—this isn't a bad thing. Your talent is absurdly high. Even Raichu wouldn't be your match."
Ash didn't want Pikachu to ever doubt itself in the future, so he chose to be completely honest right now.
"Pika~ ?(°▽°)?"
"Can't evolve anymore? Then that just proves it—I'm the chosen one! The most special Pikachu!"
"Heh, you little guy—I was worried you'd feel down," Ash laughed, pulling Pikachu into his arms and rubbing it thoroughly.
"Pika~ (^v^)"
"Actually… after evolving, I kind of felt it myself. Even without evolving further, I'm still really strong!"
"Of course," Ash said proudly.
"Just look at who your Trainer is. Pokémon trained by me are obviously going to be the strongest."
Ash went downstairs and freshly squeezed a glass of apple juice, holding a small celebration for Pikachu's evolution.
Afterward, he let Pikachu, Frogadier, and Pidgeotto play on their own while he pulled out his notebook to revise and refine their training plans.
Thanks to using Drowzee as an experience farm, their levels had skyrocketed recently. Now that Drowzee had been returned to Team Rocket, it was time to solidify their foundations.
Especially since Pidgeotto and Pikachu had just evolved today—their strength had surged too quickly. Without proper consolidation, unfamiliar power could become a liability rather than an asset.
For the next one to two weeks, Ash decided the training focus would be:
Foundational Attribute Training(HP, Attack, Defense, etc.)
Skill Control Training(Power mastery and precision)
He closed the notebook, satisfied.
Strength gained too fast needed roots.
Only with a solid foundation could they climb higher.
And Ash intended to take them all the way.
