Chapter 11 - The Pearson Guild's Vice President

I slowly opened my eyes, recalling everything that happened yesterday's night. My whole body was aching in pain. The sun wasn't in my favour either. Its fucking rays are directly hitting my face even if I tried to close my eyes. Okay, this was pointless. Closing my eyes won't do anything.

Two heavy arms were wrapped around me. The two brothers were hugging me as if I was a stuffed toy. When the hell did Michael even join in?! I only remember that I was...

Forget it.

Just forget it.

Don't recall things which will cause both pain and pleasure at the same time. It should be removed from your brain after the completion of the 'deed.'

"You are awake," said Cillian. His eyes were fixated on my neck. A smug look appeared on his face as he touched my neck.

I swatted his hand before glaring at me. "Has your anger subsided now? Or, are you still angry? Also, wipe off that smug look from your face. You are awfully proud of yourself, aren't you?"

Cillian chuckled at my words. He waved his hand over his hair, and pulled the pillow a bit more to his left.

"Oh, you two are awake?" Michael gave me bored look. He turned his head towards Cillian. "Brother, how many times should I have to remind you? Always call me before anything happens between the two of you. I also want some 'action' with her."

"I am not a thing!" I yelled.

"It's your punishment," stated Cillian. His voice was cold.

I shook my head before pushing their arms aways. Sitting upright, I asked, "You both like punishing me, right?" I gave them a wicked smile. The brothers flinched, pushing themselves away from me. "My bed isn't too big. You will fall if you push yourselves a bit more."

"We don't need your advice. Hearing your voice this early in the morning makes me sick. Then again, your voice makes me sick," grumbled Michael.

I smirked, "Yeah? So, then why did you fuck me last night? Didn't you hear me moaning? Or... did you close your ears last night? Next time, if you really don't want to hear my 'voice,' then I will just sew your ears shut."

Michael gritted his teeth at me but didn't say anything.

Laughing at his behaviour, I removed the blanket which covered my naked body. The fuckers have really 'marked' my body. These foxes are really possessive.

My body swayed as soon as I stood up on the ground.

Fuck!

Argh! My body really hurts! Should I take a day off? Then again, every day is kind of a day off for me, isn't it?

No, I have to go outside today as well.

We are really in need of money. Last night, I spent all of my money on 'enjoyment.'

Sighing, I turned my head towards them. "Look, I am going to the bathroom now. I would at least take an hour to clean myself. You know, girl-stuff and all. Now, I except you two to be a bit more civil towards me after the last night. Taking two monstrous dicks at once is really difficult for me."

With those words, I walked towards the bathroom, expecting to take a long shower. They shouldn't even think about disturbing me. At the very least, I should expect this much courtesy from them.

"You are saying that we need to increase the basic pay of the mid-tier adventurers? Why should I even entertain this thought?" asked a man. He was the vice-president of the only remaining guild of the empire.

The Pearson Guild.

A name that should generate both fear and respect in the hearts of the common people.

The vice president was a man in his thirties. His hair was black, and his eyes were blue. He had a golden watch on his wrist. Twirling the sunglasses on his fingers, he took a seat on a chair. His assistant stood beside him, holding a stack of documents in his arms.

"Sir, we should think properly before taking any decision. The mid-tier adventurers are important as well. We can't just ignore them," advised the assistant.

The vice president, Jeremy clicked his tongue in anger. "What should we do then? Should I increase the basic pay of the low-tier as well? There are four divisions, right?"

The assistant nodded, "Yes, Sir."

"Why did we divide the adventurers in the first place?"

"Because of their status and power, Sir."

Jeremy snorted at his answer. He slammed the sunglasses on the table, breaking both the table and sunglasses at once. The assistant flinched in fear, immediately moving away from Jeremy's side.

The man, who suggested the idea, sweated heavily. Why did the vice president 'attack' the table? He also broke his sunglasses. Would the vice president attack him as well? He was trying to intimidate him by this action, wasn't he?

"You are wrong. Years of experience, yet you still don't know the answer," snarled Jeremy.

The assistant apologized, "Sorry, Sir."

"Don't apologize. Just try to do better, okay?" Jeremy rubbed his nose in regret. He shouldn't have been so impulsive. That sunglasses were really a limited edition. "I don't pay these adventurers because of their power and status. No... I pay them because of their loyalty towards me. The top-tier adventurers and 'penultimate' adventurers are loyal to me. As for me? I am only loyal to the president only."

The man kneeled at Jeremy's feet. "I am sorry! I-I was out of the... o-order... I am r-really... sorry... please forgive me!" His voice was full of fear.

Jeremy kicked him away in disgust. "Get out! I don't want to see your face!" he barked angrily.

The man immediately got up to his feet. He bowed and immediately ran out of the room.

"Sir, what should we do then?" asked the assistant.

Jeremy smirked, "I don't care. Should I even care about these trivial affairs? Men like him will always come to me with some pathetic ideas. Isn't he a mid-tier adventurer as well?"

"Yes, Sir."

Jeremy laughed, "See? These are just trivial matters. Nothing to ponder over. Now, go and bring me some lamb meat to eat." He leaned back in his chair, smiling arrogantly.
