Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 The Eastern Giant and the Western Demonic Serpent

The road was truly difficult to traverse; the cave was pitch black and not only full of potholes but also quite smelly.

Iri was very displeased; she was still wearing the high heels Albedo had prepared for her, and honestly, Iri really disliked them.

When she was still alive, she barely had the chance to wear such things. After coming here, whether it was Shalltear or Albedo, the shoes they prepared for her were all high heels.

Iri was very unaccustomed to them. On a side note… the pure white long dress Iri wore out today was also hand-sewn by Albedo.

Throughout their journey, Aura walked ahead, extremely cautious, fearing that something might suddenly appear and harm Iri. Iri didn't know what to say; it was just a few Ogres, after all…

Before long, they saw three Ogres sitting in the center of the cave, gnawing on something unknown. That was the source of the bloody and putrid smell that Iri couldn't stand.

"Hey! Tell your leader to come out and see me!" Because Iri was very disgusted by the smell here, she decided to get straight to the point, not bothering to waste so much time talking to them. Anyway, they were just three cannon fodders; if they dared to resist, she would just cut them down directly. Iri even wished they would resist so she could earn experience points and level up.

"Human! Elf!! Food!!" When these three Ogres saw the two loli-sized "humans" and the Dark Elf in front of them, they immediately became excited and all picked up the wooden clubs on the ground and approached.

"Iri, step back!" Aura immediately blocked in front of Iri.

This won't do! How could I let you snatch my experience points!

"Aura Mama, can I handle this?" Iri asked.

"But Ogres are too dangerous for Iri, who is only level 1!" Aura had no intention of moving aside.

"Aura Mama, actually, Ainz Papa agreed to let me come out for another reason, you know, so, can you let me handle it? Sparkle…" Iri looked at Aura with a very expectant gaze.

That's right! To earn experience points, Iri once again employed a tactic she herself found shameful—acting cute and innocent.

"Alright… alright! If you encounter danger, quickly hide behind me." Aura was stunned for a moment before moving back.

At this moment, the Ogre had already rushed in front of Iri, and one of them directly swung a large club towards Iri.

"Unclean Impact Shield!" Iri naturally wouldn't stand there idly allowing the Ogre to strike her. She immediately extended her arm and released a skill that could be used for both offense and defense.

After the Ogre's club struck Iri's Unclean Impact Shield, the club was directly shattered, and even the Ogre that attacked Iri was sent flying several meters away by the accompanying impact, crashing heavily against the cave wall with a splat, a bloody mess.

The Ogre's corpse was tightly stuck to the stone wall. Uh… it seems this corpse can't be recycled anymore? It probably can't even be pried off.

Iri hadn't expected this skill to have such devastating lethality against native creatures. It seemed she needed to be more careful.

Although she really wanted to eliminate all of them for experience points, Ainz Papa had said to try to leave survivors if possible, and also to leave some leeway for the upcoming plot of attacking Karn Village.

"I already told you, bring your leader to see me!" Iri shouted again, quite domineeringly.

The remaining two Ogres immediately turned and ran. Although Iri thought she should be very domineering, Ainz and the Guardians, who were currently gathered together watching the "live broadcast" through a Qianli Mirror, didn't think so.

"Ah ah! Little Yi is so cute!" Albedo once again revealed that infatuated smile.

"Hmph hmph! That's my skill!! It's a skill I personally taught Little Iri-chan!" Shalltear was quite proud.

"Good response and judgment, truly worthy of Elizabeth Ooal Gown, who has been trained by this old man, huh…" Cocytus exhaled a breath of cold air.

"After all, she is Ainz-sama's daughter. To be able to instantly kill an Ogre so much higher level than herself at only level 1, truly worthy of Ainz-sama." Demiurge praised, then glanced at Ainz, who was sitting in the center, and said.

"Hmm, since she is my daughter, it is only natural for her to be able to do this much." Ainz waved his hand in acknowledgement.

Is someone missing? Yes… Mare is not here. In fact, Ainz was very worried about Iri's safety, so he had secretly sent Mare to follow them from a distance to protect Iri.

Iri, of course, didn't know any of this. She had instantly killed the Ogre and was quite proud of herself.

"Iri, are you alright?" Aura came up to ask, looking worried.

"I'm perfectly fine, it's just…" Iri glanced at the Ogre's tightly plastered corpse on the stone wall and said with some regret.

"Ainz Papa told me to try and leave survivors."

"There's nothing that could be done about it! Who told such a low-level creature to attempt to attack Iri!" Aura also looked at the corpse and comforted Iri.

"Hmm! Next time I'll try my best to hold back." Iri said with a smile, but as soon as she finished speaking and Aura had just turned her gaze away, Iri's originally incredibly bright smile immediately turned into a sinister grin. Try to hold back? How could that be! Besides that crucial Eastern Giant and that Naga, turn all the rest into experience points for me!

Just as Iri was still calculating her "malicious" experience-earning plan, the ground of the cave shook. They're here!

Iri, knowing the plot, naturally knew that a large wave of experience points was approaching.

Indeed, a gigantic green Mountain Giant appeared, bringing with it a pile of Ogres and smaller blue giants. According to the plot, it's not just this Mountain Giant here! There should also be an invisible Naga, so… use Perception, perceive the location of that Naga…

Uh… got it!

Iri had already sensed the location of the invisible Naga before the Mountain Giant got close to her, preparing for the upcoming plot.

"Stop hiding, I already knew you were there. If you don't come out, I won't be polite!" Iri pointed to the location she had just sensed.

"How dare you!! A human actually saw through this old one's transparency, who exactly are you!" The Naga asked in a panic.

"Listen well, I am…" Iri was about to give another "domineering" self-introduction when she was interrupted by the green Mountain Giant.

"A mere piece of food dares to be insolent in front of Gu, who rules the Eastern region!" The Mountain Giant bellowed.

"…" Iri was displeased. Hey, hey! Interrupting someone's self-introduction is a very impolite act, isn't it! If it weren't for the plot's necessity, Iri would really want to use a throwing spear to stab this monstrous thing into a hornet's nest.

"You're the one being insolent! How dare you speak to my Iri like that!" Aura immediately became enraged and pulled out her weapon.

"Aura Mama, we agreed, let me handle it." Iri once again showed that sparkling, adorable gaze.

"Alright… alright!" Aura once again succumbed, then obediently put away her whip.

Seeing Aura put away her whip and stand aside, Iri then turned around, elegantly lifted her skirt, nodded slightly, and said with a faint smile.

"Please remember, my name, Elizabeth Ooal Gown, who will soon become your ruler!"
