Jax swept through the new chat system tab. He was investigating everything he could regarding rewards and missions. He needed to accrue points quickly.
"My mind can think faster, and I retain information better." Jax worked quietly, after a few hours, a new person came online.
Jax looked at the notification, "7 of 9…"
7 of 9 looked at the chat request, raising a single eyebrow. She accepted the request.
7 of 9 contemplated her response briefly.
Pausing what she was doing in the actual ship, 7 of 9 was able to split her mind's focus. She could both carry out her duties above Voyager and engage in a conversation with Superman.
Superman's comment caught 7 of 9's attention. She stared at him for a long time.
Watching Superman start to laugh, she caught on.
7 flashed a quick, almost imperceptible smile. Superman caught the smile. Although he could only see her through the screens, his supersenses caught the slight and nearly imperceptible move of her lips.
He didn't want to wait fifteen years to get his key and the fortress. The key to his spaceship held the promise of revealing the details of his past. Who were his parents? Where did he come from, and why did his parents send him away?
