Before I could even ask about their girlfriends, Rohini and Shakshi walked into the room with Ankush and Priyansh.
All four of them froze like they had just witnessed something unbelievable. Their shocked expressions were absolutely priceless.
"Tum dono ek saath? And Subho… what are you doing here?" Ankush asked, still confused.
Subho scratched his head. "I… I came by mistake, yaar! You told me to freshen up, so I was looking for my room. I thought this was ours!"
"This is our room," Shakshi said, raising an eyebrow, clearly amused.
"Haan tu yaha kya kar raha hai?" Rohini added, trying not to laugh.
"Arey pagal," Subho sighed dramatically, "I was going… but I saw Ananya, so I stopped to talk to her!"
Shakshi smirked. "Very good. Now out! Let us girls breathe for a minute!"
Rohini crossed her arms playfully.
"Oh acha, tum dono ki baat ho gayi? Now let us rest. Boys, nikalooo sab!" she announced in a dramatic, funny tone, making all of us laugh.
"Arey baby, tum mujhe bhi nikal rahi ho?"
Ankush pouted exaggeratedly.
But even after they left, my mind was stuck on that moment—
the moment I opened the door…
and discovered... Subho
As the others walked out, Rohini turned back to me and said—
"Oye Ananya, jag ja!" she said, pulling me out of my daydream.
"Haan bata, what actually happened?" she asked, curiosity all over her face.
"Haan bro, bol na," Shakshi added with a low teasing laugh.
They were teasing me again — after nineteen long years.
It felt weird… but also like old times.
"Shut up yaar! Tum dono kabhi nahi sudhroge," I said, rolling my eyes.
Rohini's laughter burst out instantly, and Shakshi joined right in.
"Ab bata bhi de, behen! Kya hua tha?" Rohini nudged me.
So I told them the whole incident — how I thought he wouldn't recognize me…
but he actually did. And I was honestly shocked.
"Waise… uski girlfriend nahi aayi?" I asked, trying to sound casual.
