Chapter 141 - Chapter 141: The Last One Third

Watching Iron Monger collapse to the ground, Spider-Man swung his arm vigorously and exclaimed excitedly, "Make sure you lie all the way into the cell! The cell door has a height limit, you big guy!"

"Cough, cough..."

The sudden sound made Spider-Man shiver. He quickly turned around, only to see a ghostly blue figure emerge from the Shadow. Ice Phantom, emanating an icy chill, stared at Spider-Man and asked eerily, "Spider-Man, did you forget most of what I told you?"

"Oh, oh, sorry, boss." Spider-Man seemed to remember something then, scratching his head awkwardly.

Under Tony's bewildered gaze, Spider-Man and Ice Phantom walked aside as if no one else was there, lowering their voices to converse.

A moment later, Spider-Man approached Tony and said seriously, "He's yours, Mr. Stark."

Then, Spider-Man obediently stood to the side.

Looking at this inexplicable scene, Tony was somewhat bewildered.

Just as he was about to ask Spider-Man and Ice Phantom who they were, a grating metallic screech suddenly came from the ground.

He turned his head to look, and saw the Iron Monger, which had been lying on the ground, shaking violently. The Arc Reactor in its chest emitted a dazzling blue light, causing the entire armor to twist and deform like a living thing.

Those were deformation structures for flying, now conveniently used to cut the ropes.

The webs wrapped around Iron Monger's joints instantly tightened, and the silvery threads snapped one by one under the sharp friction of the transforming structures.

With a deafening metallic roar, Iron Monger's massive body slowly rose upright.

The hydraulic devices on its mechanical arm emitted a low hum, and its thick metal hand roughly wiped across its faceplate, tearing off the webs stuck to it. The broken webs clung to its fingertips, trailing long silver strands with its movements.

It looked down at Tony, Spider-Man, and Ice Phantom, while Obadiah inside looked grim.

At this moment, Ice Phantom had retracted his wings, forming a ceremonial robe with black and blue patterns. At first glance, he looked like an ordinary person.

Spider-Man was not attacking him either, but was just there, chatting with Ice Phantom about something he didn't know.

These two people didn't have any armor on them, so they shouldn't be able to fly.

So, if he wanted a one-on-one battlefield with Tony... he'd best set the battlefield in the air.

With this in mind, Iron Monger's leg armor dramatically transformed, the grinding of gears deafening.

Two scorching Fire streams suddenly shot out from the foot thrusters, the orange-red flames instantly scorching deep black pits into the ground, and the heatwave kicked up surrounding debris and smoke.

The enormous thrust slowly lifted the metallic behemoth into the air, its afterburner tracing a crimson trajectory across the night sky.

As he ascended, he adjusted his posture, his searchlight-like eyes looking down at the three people on the ground.

He was flying, and even if Tony didn't fight him, it was fine.

I'll just escape to other places!

The escape tools were already prepared; as long as he got them, he would have a chance to leave.

Damn Tony, he'll deal with him later.

Just as he thought of this, Iron Monger's mechanical body suddenly trembled violently, like a helicopter caught in a strong wind.

Obadiah's pupils contracted. He controlled the armor to turn around—only to see a red and gold streak of light tear through the night sky. Iron Man's armor was rapidly approaching at an astonishing speed, the Arc Reactor in his chest emitting a dazzling blue light, and his right palm repulsor was already charged and ready.

Confirming that only one person was chasing him, Obadiah turned with difficulty to face Tony. Iron Monger extended the Gatling gun on his arm, the barrel spun, and spewed out dense Fire.

However, Tony had already anticipated this. His armor deftly flipped in the air, with the coordination of one hand and two feet,

He twisted and turned sideways at an incredible angle, bullets whizzing past the edge of his armor, leaving countless bright silver trails in the night sky.

Iron Monger's attack missed, but Tony took the opportunity to accelerate, rushing forward like a burning meteor.

Seeing the red and gold figure rushing towards him, enveloped in scorching airflow, Iron Monger feigned a slow reaction, allowing Tony to punch him hard directly on the forehead.

The metallic collision emitted a deafening roar, and Iron Monger's massive body recoiled in the air, but the moment Tony retracted his fist, its arms suddenly clamped shut like mechanical pincers, gripping him tightly.

Tony grunted, struggling, the armor's hydraulic devices groaning under the strain.

But Iron Monger squeezed him tighter and tighter, its chest Arc Reactor almost touching his face.

Just then, Tony suddenly curled his lips and said to Jarvis, "Release it, Jarvis."

"Yes, sir."

Why did Tony rush over like he was crazy and punch Obadiah? Because he wanted to get closer.

After all, when you're unleashing a big move, you still need to see if the other person is willing to help you aim, right?

Fortunately, Mr. Stane was very generous.

As the command was given, the Arc Reactor in Tony's armor's chest suddenly erupted.

Iron Monger's pupils constricted. Feeling the fatal threat emanating from his embrace, he wanted to let go, but it was too late.

"Boom!" With a loud bang, blue energy surged out from Tony's chest like a tsunami. The powerful impact violently blasted the two figures apart, and some components on Iron Monger's armor surface instantly deformed.

Tony, propelled by the recoil, rapidly flew backward, tracing a long fiery trajectory across the night sky.

His breathing inside the helmet was heavy and rapid, and the dazzling red alert on the heads-up display almost filled his entire field of vision: Right arm weapon system damaged by 73%, leg thruster power loss by 41%, cracks appeared in the chest Arc Reactor core protection chamber... "Damn Stark!" He cursed, wiping the cold sweat from his forehead, the metal armor trembling violently in the high altitude.

A chill crept up his spine—if he dragged this on, this proud armor would turn into a pile of uncontrollable scrap metal at any moment. He had to retreat immediately!

Obadiah gritted his teeth and activated maximum power, Iron Monger's afterburners suddenly flared, and he began to accelerate towards the distance.

Tony noticed that the other party was accelerating and preparing to leave. He subtly curled his lips, revealing a sneer.

He also began to accelerate, chasing Iron Monger, but deliberately controlled himself to trail ten degrees below Iron Monger.

To shake him off, Iron Monger began to pull upward, rapidly ascending towards the stratosphere.

Tony's smile grew wider as he watched this scene.

Iron Monger's afterburners cut through the night sky, like a massive, dying torch struggling, desperately climbing towards the stratosphere.

Obadiah stared intently at the constantly fluctuating altitude readings, his breath ragged and heavy. Each ascent brought him one step closer to safety, and also tightened his nerves further.

Just as the altitude number reached a new height, Obadiah suddenly felt his vision go completely Black.

All data and alerts on the heads-up display instantly vanished.

He instinctively tried to move, but found that at this moment, the entire armor was like an Iron coffin; he was trapped inside and couldn't move at all.

Below, Tony looked at Iron Monger, which had suddenly lost power and was plummeting like a kite with a broken string, a smile playing on his lips.

Yes, he was truly happy now.

Life is about watching others suffer the hardships you've endured!

Having been rained on, he wanted to tear down all the umbrellas in the World except his own!
