Sniff! Sniff!!
Jade sniffed widely into the air like a cute puppy. He lazily opened his eyes, trying to figure out where the scent was coming from.
He observed every corner... yet the scent was nowhere to be found. This was the second time , he had perceived this particular pheromones. The most attractive pheromones he had ever inhaled.
The smell of Lillie's , were all jade could absorb in the air; but the owner....was....no...where to be found.
In a distance, a red Bentley drove off in full speed. It escalated with much speed as if been chased by someone.
" Sia! Are you sure the information was legit?!"
" Yes! 100% legit sir!!".
" Then lets drive to Vegas club after the meeting!".
" Yes sir!!" Sia nodded and geared in full speed.
Lucas alighted from his car, he observed his scenery before striding in like a mini god, emitting power and pride.his personal assistant followed behind him in unison as the walked into Vegas club. The elevator clicked open, they both went in. Sia pressed give and retraced her hand. Lucas stood there expressionless. His cold expression could be seen clearly by Sia. He was releasing strong pheromones, Sia knew he was angry and anxious.
" Sir here!!. Sia said , passing him his pheromones calming handkerchief....but he declined.
The elevator beeped then stopped. They both walked out ,Sia pressed the doorbell and it opened without wasting any single seconds. The aloof King strud in immediately, without words he sat on the massive coach gesturing for some whiskey that was already on the table to be served to him.he adjusted his tie while crossing his legs.
" Bring in the person at once" he commanded, sipping from his glass.
Instantly.... A person, covered in a sack was thrown in with full force. Lucas stared murderously without blinking as he watch the person's face been revealed.
" Sir!, Here is the bastard that pushed you of.....
His words were immediately cut off .
" Get your words straight, we aren't sure if he was the one. I asked you to trace and caught him because he was seen at the scene, so get your story straight until we are sure" . Sia corrected with a stern face. The latter zipped his mouth afraid provoking the quite Wolf.
Lucas stared closely at jade and chuckled in disbelief. " Are you sure you got the right person?!. He asked still locking his eyes on jade. He was wondering how someone this fragile and weak could save someone, talk more of killing. " We are very sure sir!!!".
Jade was scared to his wits, the murderous eyes that was scanning all through like a lion teasing it's prey brought goosebumps all over his body, and then..... The Sharp scent kicked in again , he couldn't help but sniff.
Sniff sniff!!
He lifted his nose like a puppy. Lucas was amused for a seconds by his sudden behaviour. Was he some stray pup or what, why would he be sniffing like that. Lucas wondered , he casted him a wicked smile and jade immediately lowered his head.
Everybody was confused , they began sniffing around even on their bodies curiously, trying to understand why jade was sniffing.
Sia remained unmoved. All her focus were on jade. She could tell jade was sniffing her boss pheromones, since he has been releasing much due to his anger... But her question, was how jade was able to perceive them. Alpha's pheromones could be perceived only by their fellow Alphas or in a case one has been attached closely to an Alpha for a long time. It can also be perceived by others if the Alpha has pheromones disorders, excessive leak could be perceived by others. They only direct people that can perceive an Alphas pheromones were their omega mate.

Her thoughts were brought back, the moment she saw Lucas; grabbing Jade's wrist with force. Sia widened her eyes in disbelief. Was he trying to manslaughter him right here!!"Sia widened her eyes in thoughts.
Lucas forcefully, pulled out the first button of Jade's shirt. His slender shoulder could be seen vividly , Lucas swallowed hard the moment his eyes landed on those glowing shoulders. He snapped back immediately and released his hands from him. Jade became furious, his shirt was disheveled.
Back at the park.
He was sightseeing with his roommate and friend , Victor. Due to his friend's boring history story , he didn't know when he dozed off. He was waked by the sudden scent that invaded him. He remembered the scent as one he has perceived a month ago when he went to hike on the mountain. He tried following the scent to see if he could locate the owner. He remembered vividly that the owner was wounded and wanted to check in out. He hasn't gone far, and some group of bandits captured and blindfolded him.
And here he was!!..... assaulted by the very person he was dying to see. As if reading his expression, Lucas threw him back at the floor..
Thud!!!.....
Jade winced in pain, tears almost fell down but he suppressed them harder trying not to look weak.
" Am I tool , you can use and toss off anyhow huh!!!! ". Jade growled at him in anger.
Lucas pupils dilated unoticely , he felt remorseful but dared not to admit it...what if he's just pretending. He looked unbothered... "Next question!".
" What where you doing on the mountain a month ago.....who was the person that pushed me!!?". Lucas thundered not minding him opposing heart.
These questions came like a bomb. Jade laughed sarcastically yet maintaining his angry steez.
" Was this the reason why you brought me here huh!! He flared. I shouldn't have saved you, if ever knew you were this cold blooded....I should...have left you to die!!!". Jade screamed on top his voice . Lucas still didn't flinch. He waited patiently his anger to suppress before repeating his questions.
" That wasn't an answer! So, can I get an answer now?!! . Am actually not interested in your petty emotions , I have important matters to tend to, so make it snappy". Lucas throwed in again , snapping his fingers mockingly hinting him to be fast with his words .
It then dawned on jade , the kind of beast he was dealing with; an emotionless creature. He then answered with every bit of hatred left within him.
