Chapter 10 - A World Without God Pt:09

'... Why the hell does an orca breathe lava? Alice...'

[No information available, all files are corrupted... Someone planned a containment breach, or this is a test, and we got caught in the middle ofit.]

Dodging another jet of lava, I freeze it the moment it passes by me, but the instant I do so, the frozen lava becomes a fist of ice.

With my claws, I easily cut the wrist, but I have to be quick; now they're mini penguins made of water. Transforming my claws back into gloves, I point my palm towards them, thus creating a flamethrower improved thousands of times over, I now have a much more effective way to deal with ice and water.

Okay, now I'll switch my left glove to freezing the lava, and my right glove to evaporating the other two.

I haven't finished the fight yet because I want to know how they do what they do, and most importantly, why the whale breathes lava.

So I'm letting them play while I plan to steal what makes them special.

Parrying the orca's strike, who has now decided to come at me one-on-one, I see that he is very strong, what the hell is this?

These sons of bitches are really fast. Then our dance begins.

I throw a punch at his face, he blocks it, I dodge another spear, but there's a super mean bear behind me aiming for the back of my neck. I duck and swipe his leg; that's all I can do, holding back my strength.

Another volley of blows hits me, an ice stick strikes me in the ribs, throwing me a little distance from the three animals.

Now it seems like they want to come at me with toys. The bear has a stick made of ice, the penguin has two water swords (Ihavenoideahowthiswillwork.) and the orca has two Lava pistols.

'...' Joining in the fun (Idon'twanttobeleftout), I create an obsidian-colored katana, its hilt is crimson red.

"This is going to be fun!"

For 3 seconds, tension was the only royalty present, however, we are fighting to be the new top of the food chain.

The bat, in which I I had previously fired a sonic cannon; it's falling. We don't say anything (Idon'tknowiftheycan), but a trace of recognition passes through our eyes.

As soon as the bat fell to the ground, we ran towards an uncertain destination (intheirperception).

When we met in the middle of an avenue, civilians running in all directions (Idon'tknowhowwegothere), the first to attack me was the orca, five lava shots.

My sword met the bullets in mid-air, instantly absorbing any and all remaining heat, cutting the bullet in half.

Using the thrusters in my boots, I'll go as fast as possible (Notreally) towards the orca; long-range opponents are the real terror for any close-range fighter.

But before I can get to him, I have to quickly block the penguin.

'Close one...'
