Chapter 14 - Abyssal Domain II

I stepped out of the collapsing portal, the air of Velistra heavy with rain and the lingering scent of ozone. The streets seemed dull now, almost laughable, compared to the chaos I had left behind. My boots splashed lightly in the puddles, cloak trailing behind me like the shadow of a storm I carried.

The house was quiet, too quiet. Lyra and Mom were probably catching their breath, unaware of the scale of what had just occurred. I didn't bother looking at them. Not yet. Not when something far more important awaited.

I entered my room, closed the door, and let the world outside fade. My mind pulled inward, descending into the Abyssal World — my domain, my sanctuary, my kingdom.

The sensation was intoxicating. The Abyss had expanded far beyond what I had felt before, roots stretching through infinite black voids, pulsing with absorbed essence. Energy hummed in waves, waiting to be shaped, molded, commanded.

And there she was.

The spirit of the Abyssal World.

A figure emerging from the black fog, delicate yet impossibly powerful. Her form was feminine, tall and elegant, with eyes like twin eclipses reflecting the depths of the Abyss. Her voice carried the weight of eons, silky but sharp.

> "You have absorbed much… grown far beyond what I anticipated," she said.

I smirked, arms crossed.

> "Don't get cocky. I'm only just warming up."

Her gaze, piercing yet calm, scanned me.

> "This world, everything within it… obeys your will. Every being, every drop of essence, every shadow… is under your domain. You are not just a ruler, you are existence itself here."

> "Exactly as I planned," I said, letting the words roll off my tongue. "Everything bends to me. Everything answers to me. Nothing can resist."

She inclined her head slightly, almost approving.

> "Then shape it. Make it reflect what you desire. Expand. Recreate. Become its architect, its absolute."

I closed my eyes, feeling the pulse of the Abyss under my skin. Black roots wriggled like serpents, energy folding in on itself, obeying every unspoken command. I reshaped the terrain, molding mountains of obsidian, rivers of inky black, and valleys that seemed to vanish into nothingness.

I created a black sea, waves rippling with absorbed essence. Its surface reflected a purplish-black translucent floor, like glass melting into shadow. The sky became a canvas of pure black, pierced by countless stars, scattered as though the Abyss itself had breathed them into existence.

And there it remained, the giant red moon, its single eye unblinking, the center of this infinite plane. The black tree, my anchor, had grown larger, branches stretching across the horizon, roots disappearing into the depths of the sea, crown looming like the spine of creation itself.

I let the Abyss breathe, pulse, and respond. Soldiers, creatures, forms of absorbed essence, and artifacts all shifted and adjusted under my thought. Everything was mine, utterly and completely.

She watched silently, letting me revel in it.

> "I like it," I said finally, voice low and confident, eyes glinting white with faint black veins. "Perfect. Infinite. Untouchable. No one… not even the Association… can come close to this."

Her form shimmered slightly, almost smiling.

"Then remember… everything here obeys your will. Everything listens."

I stepped back, arms spread wide, feeling the weight of eternity at my fingertips.

"In the end… nothing will touch me. I am Drax Magna. I am the Abyss. I am inevitable."

The Abyss pulsed, answering, breathing, alive. And I smiled, arrogant, untouchable, eternal.
