Chapter 34 - Chapter 34 Toriko World

The next day, after finishing his daily training.

Setsuna stopped Hizashi and said sincerely, "Hizashi-sensei, I'd like to request leave for a personal training session lasting five days. I might even need to leave the village briefly."

After traveling to the new world, the minimum stay would be one year, but there was no upper limit on the maximum stay. Just in case, he planned to ask for five days' leave.

'Is Hokage-sama sending Setsuna to assassinate some important figure?' Hizashi instinctively made the connection and agreed very readily. "No problem. You can train for as long as you want. No need to rush. I have complete trust in you."

Setsuna returned home, removed his weighted training gear, put the weights back into the DynoCaps, and took out some Senzu Beans to carry with him.

The impression left by his last trip was just too deep. He had to be fully prepared before setting off.

After mentally preparing himself, Setsuna embarked on his new journey across worlds.

When he opened his eyes again, thick clouds filled his vision, and a sudden feeling of weightlessness gripped him as he began to fall.

'Falling from the sky again. Is this the World Will's malice?' Setsuna couldn't help but sigh in relief that he had learned Sky Dancing Art in the Dragon Ball World.

Stabilizing himself, Setsuna began observing the world below.

"Huh, what a huge forest," Setsuna was quite surprised. He was high in the sky, so the world below should appear small, yet the scale of the forest he saw was undeniably vast.

Before Setsuna could ponder further, a violent gale suddenly swept across the sky. Caught off guard, Setsuna was tossed head over heels several times. He managed to stabilize himself only by using Sky Dancing Art with all his might.

"What's going on?" Setsuna was truly shocked, 'Even a super typhoon above Category 16 shouldn't have made me this miserable. What was with the wind in this world?'

Squinting his eyes, Setsuna saw the entire forest below being uprooted and swept into the air, along with countless strange creatures.

These creatures were bizarrely shaped, but without exception, they were all enormous, unbelievably so.

Setsuna could sense that many of these creatures were significantly stronger than him, yet they didn't dare resist, only kneeling and wailing in despair.

Setsuna struggled to maintain his position, then turned and looked up at the higher sky. He was horrified to see a black hole hanging in the firmament.

'No, not a black hole...' Setsuna widened his eyes, barely making out the full form of the 'black hole'. "It's the mouth of a giant serpent! A Jörmungandr large enough to encircle the world!"

'Giant creatures, and an extremely large serpent... Damn it, this can't be the Gourmet World from Toriko, can it?' Setsuna's face darkened. The world of Toriko was undoubtedly a high-power universe.

Given his strength, appearing in the Human World wouldn't be too much of a problem. But in the Gourmet World, even a moderately powerful creature could kill him. Worse still, he had been dropped right in front of the Mother Snake, the Snake King. He even wondered if the World Will want him dead.

"I have to escape!" Setsuna had no intention of fighting back. The Snake King was 220,000 kilometers long and weighed 15 quadrillion tons. Even on this Gourmet Earth, which was 659 times the volume of Earth, it was a truly apocalyptic-level monster.

Forget him, even Vegeta would have to run.

However, just stabilizing himself was difficult enough. Trying to escape this area against the wind was simply impossible.

'What should I do? Wait until it finishes feeding?' This thought crossed Setsuna's mind, but he quickly dismissed it.

'Given the Mother Snake's size, its feeding could last for years. I couldn't hold out that long.'

"At this point, I have to try anything, even a long shot." Gritting his teeth, Setsuna bit his finger and began the summoning technique.

Although they were in different universes, the All-World Pearl thoughtfully provided spatial services, allowing cross-universe summoning. The consequence was that the summoned creature also had to stay for at least one year.

"Kekeke, remember the 50... Wait, what the hell is this place?" Manda screamed the moment he was summoned, spinning as he was blown away.

Setsuna desperately clung to Manda's tail, but both man and snake slowly moved towards the 'black hole'.

"Thanks..." Manda's mind was hazy. It took him a moment to react. "No, why am I thanking you? And where is this place?"

"Never mind that for now. Look up. That giant snake might be a distant relative of yours. Try to see if you can communicate with it?" Setsuna was out of options.

He could only hope the Mother Snake might be interested in an unfamiliar snake species. At that time, maybe Manda could even marry into the family.

"A giant snake? We're doomed!" After barely making out the giant serpent's head under Setsuna's guidance, Manda trembled in fear.

He was considered large in Ryuchi Cave, over fifty meters long. But his size wasn't even comparable to the tip of that giant serpent's tongue. He wouldn't be enough to fill its teeth.

"I'll communicate with your #@¥%!" Manda immediately cursed. The gap between him and that giant serpent was greater than the gap between him and an earthworm. How could they possibly talk?

"I want to go back!" Manda screamed, trying to end the summoning, but he despairingly found he couldn't return.

"Where is this place? Why can't I go back?"

Setsuna sneered, "You have no other choice now. Go and communicate with it."

Furious but helpless, Manda imitated the seductive tone used by the Three Snake Miko under White Snake Sage to lure humans and shouted loudly, "Great Serpent God! I am a humble snake from Ryuchi Cave. I have long admired you and wish to become your honored guest."

Setsuna was shocked. He had only thought about Manda marrying into the family, but this guy was directly aiming for the Mother Snake herself, 'This wasn't a small horse pulling a big cart, it was a small snake pulling a planet.'

The gale paused for an instant. Hope flickered in Manda's eyes, but the next moment, the wind speed suddenly increased tenfold.

'Indeed it doesn't work. But at least it proves one thing: language is indeed universal,' Setsuna sighed.

Seeing that even he was about to be sucked into the serpent's belly, Setsuna decisively let go.

"Chiaki Setsuna!" Manda roared in despair, using all his strength to hook his tail, trying to drag Setsuna down with him to death.

Amid the raging wind, Setsuna could only barely dodge, but his waist pouch was slapped away by Manda, spilling all the Senzu Beans inside.

Setsuna, quick-eyed and swift-handed, retrieved most of the Senzu Beans, but two were still swept away by the gale.

The next moment, the wind suddenly slowed down considerably.

"What's going on? Is it almost full... Wait, the Senzu Beans!" Setsuna suddenly realized.

A Senzu Bean could heal injuries for someone as powerful as Super Saiyan 2 Goku, and someone as weak as Yajirobe could eat multiple Senzu Beans to satisfy his hunger. This showed that Senzu Beans restored health and stamina by percentage.

He hadn't thought of this earlier mainly because the size difference between the Mother Snake and a Senzu Bean was too vast to connect the two.

Setsuna couldn't afford to be stingy now. He directly grabbed a handful of Senzu Beans and threw them out.

Under his nervous wait, the wind finally stopped.

'Phew, I really owe it to Manda,' Setsuna sighed with genuine gratitude.
