"See you tomorrow morning then, Klein." Arianna waved her hand in goodbye to the man in front of her as they stand together at the entrance exit of the company building. Bearing her honest, polite smile, she then proceeded to walk to the opposite direction.
Klein in turn waved his, as he then proceeded on his own, seeing the last piece of Arianna disappear from his sight to see. As he walked to his own, by his side was also a particular blonde woman, one who particular styled herself with a lot of gothic features. She was rather reserved in her style, the kind whom would often be quiet most of the time unless spoken to, but being by Sherlock's side, the goth woman Sharron found herself a lot more engaging and talkative most of the time.
"Hey, you got any plans later this evening? Im down for a drink later tonight." Sharron wistfully said to Klein by her side, while her head face straight torward the streets. She kept to her eyes cold, but not too cold in terms of friendliness.
"Hmmm... Maybe not- Also, you really need to fix that drinking habit of yours, its concerning." Klein opened his mouth as he turned his head to face Sharron. A hint of concern was with his tone. For he considers her a close friend of his, might be even the kind to pursue and push his feelings further if given the chance. But all to well to truly bother himself with it.
They took their steps together at the same time, casually walking off to the sunset together as the lights from the city gradually turn on one by one. The sounds of cars passing by the streets, the people chatting to their own too reverberated in their ears, but the sole focus Sherlock and Klein kept to one another made them feel like the only ones able to hear one another.
"What are you, my mother?" Sharron protested with a lot more voice in her as a response, breaking the ice in her momentarily.
"Im just saying, you kinda remind me of those single ladies auntie who got nothing better to do in life but doze off in their home, drink themselves to death, and work their whole lives off with no purpose in life, heck, i might even consider you one already if not for the age." Sherlock and Sharron having been best friends and being around the same age found themselves a lot more comfortable with one another, having an open talk with barely any barriers, this in turn helps them reciprocate the friendship they upheld towards one another. With barely any secrets up to a hidden, its plain to see why they could've been. "Im not Old, you stupid Sherlock!" But how did it started actually, their friendship, that would be the question.
"And let me remind you that you remind me of those guys who also got nothing better to do in life but work their ass off every single day with no purpose in life, but to simply exist and earn money to play leisurely thinking you're living the life of luxury. Might not sound so bad, but there's always a catch no matter what. I don't condone it, so don't compare me to those Aunties you're speaking off." Sharron blurted herself out, in response to Sherlock's comment.
"... Well, i can't argue with that, its just that damn Leonard keep urging me to play his damn games! I hate losing to that guy!"
"When was the last time you even won a game of cards, even Marric is better than you. Bet you're broke, how about it, i can call Marric right now, see if you can earn sum." Sharron albeit small, giggled in humilation of Sherlock's skills.
"Please don't remind me, i hate gambling. I don't want to play with it anymore." Klein with a helpless look, closed his eyes in total defeat of reminiscing his memories.
"Maybe just get better then at life. Life is like a game, is it not?" Sharron nudged Sherlock's side with her elbow.
"..."
"..." a silence took them for a moment until Klein spoke up.
"Nowadays, people opened their mouths and say anything thinking it makes any sense, thinking it be the definitive thing that would make the most sense in life; Truth to be told, a lot of comparisons people often make with another subject would actually be all that is redundant. Nothing matters. So i might disagree, i might agree, that is belief."
"... When did you became such a philosopher?"
"I like people! Hahaha."
As the two of them delved deeper into the city, the night came into full view with the citylights already blooming from all directions, Sharron stopped in her tracks as Sherlock does so too with his head facing another direction.
"What, you have a date or something that's why you're rejecting me with a drink instead?" Sharron with a spiteful glare pin pointed her eyes at Sherlock's back that is facing her.
"Of course not, i could never imagine myself going with something like that- you know im gonna die as a lonely virgin, right, i just have some things that needed to be sorted out." Klein basked himself in shame by making himself the center of his own joke to counter the suspicious feeling in the form of having his eyebrows twitching for he could not turn his head around in fear from Sharron's gaze.
"So honest... and leaving a pitiful young maiden such as me to go on a dark street all by myself, where is your couresty as a gentleman, Mr Sherlock?" Sharron put her hand over her hips, highlighting her hourglass figure under her office clothes.
"Ugh... do i really have to? You beat me all the time you know that, right?" Klein's head sinked in his shoulders, remembering the time when he used to get beat up by the strong woman behind him as revenge for all the jokes he threw at her.
"Its because you're so weak and skinny, any good girl with a pound can definitely beat you in a one on one, even that dumb slut Arianna probably can, no matter how much of a goody two shoes she appears to be."
"Just let me be all right... well, if you have the money, why not just follow along then! Im going to the Gym!" Klein said as he found himself gradually pissed slightly.
"... Gym...?" Sharron's mind turn blank for a moment as she tried to process what he had just said before speaking up again.
"Hah, all this years and this is the only time you thought of improving yourself? Is this the real Sherlock i know, or is there a part of your memories perhaps missing?" Sharron with her fingers pointed at her head.
"Missing? Shouldn't you say something added instead?"
"Whatever, i tag along, lead the way!" Sharron then walked her body towards the side of Sherlock and put her arms around his. Whilst doing so, she leaned herself closer towards Sherlock like someone close she imagined herself to be.
"But it's night time already, you sure you wanna spend the morning all sore and tired, especially the work for tomorrow."
"Don't worry, don't worry, a good cup of coffee in the morning will surely fix all of that. And what, speak for yourself, you needed more rest and self improvement than i do. With a slight push of mine, i can even take you down right now, took off your clothes, and might even take your virginity if you wish to."
"Wah... what kind of joke is that?!" bewildered, Klein was lost for a moment before letting herself be, for he thinks it just one of their usual banters.
"... What if its not a joke....?" But as time passes by, she whispered beneath her breathe, only she could hear herself.
The two of them turdges themselves forward, Klein leading the way through a particular direction throughout that part of the city, and finding themselves before a gym on a second floor of a building.
