Marineford was rarely silent.
But today, the quiet felt heavy—like the whole fortress was holding its breath.
The grand meeting hall sat filled with officers, Vice Admirals, Cipher Pol representatives, and the top brass. Tension rippled through the room as Sengoku stood at the head of the table, arms crossed, jaw tight.
Kizaru lay in a medical wing beneath them, wrapped in bandages and healing equipment after almost drowning—after being defeated.
It was a word they were not used to hearing in reference to an admiral.
Garp leaned forward, unusually serious. "So… he really almost kicked the bucket?"
A murmur spread.
Sengoku's voice came out low and grim.
"Kizaru was nearly dead when the merchant crew pulled him out. His injuries were… extensive."
He placed the medical report on the table. No one reached for it.
"And the attackers?" Tsuru asked calmly.
"We confirmed three individuals," Sengoku replied. "Nagato. Enel. And now—"
He slid a photograph across the table: Kisame, Samehada on his shoulder, grinning like a devil.
"—a shark-type fishman who wields a blade never seen before."
Sengoku continued."Lieutenant Ink used his ability as soon as Kizaru regained consciousness. He was able to pull one piece of information about the fishman"
Everyone watched as Ink nervously stepped forward, the young officer sweating under all the eyes.
"I… I could only pull his name," . "Kisame. That's all. Just like with Nagato… his past is completely obscured. As if it doesn't exist."
The hall buzzed with unease.
Tsuru steepled her fingers. "First Nagato… then Enel… and now a fishman with no traceable history. This is forming a pattern we don't understand."
Sengoku slammed the table.
"What we do understand is that these three together are an existential threat."
The bounty posters were brought out—fresh ink, still drying.
Sengoku lifted the first.
NAGATO Bounty: 1,500,000,000 Berries
Gasps.
"He nearly killed an admiral," Sengoku said. "He demonstrated the ability to learn haki instantly. And he defeated Kizaru in a single exchange."
Next—
ENEL Bounty: 970,000,000 Berries
"A fifty-million increase. His destructive capability remains extreme. Paired with Nagato, he is even more dangerous."
And finally—
KISAME Bounty: 200,000,000 Berries
"A new threat. This is already a high starting bounty. But considering the company he keeps, this number is expected to rise."
Silence settled once again.
Sengoku looked across his forces.
"We are no longer dealing with anomalies."
He exhaled slowly.
"We're dealing with an emerging force… one that strikes without hesitation, leaves no traceable history, and grows stronger after every confrontation."
He folded his arms.
"And they are moving faster than we can respond."
The room stayed quiet, the weight of the situation sinking in.
The world had gained three new monsters—and the marines, already preoccupied with the large amount of newer pirates, and keeping the warlords and emperors in check, felt more stretched than ever.
Akainu slammed his fist, speaking up for the first time since the meeting started.
"I'll chase down and kill these scum myself. Knowing Borsolino he wasn't fully trying and was being careless. I'll make sure these pirates face justice.
The room tensed—several Vice Admirals flinched at his killing intent.
But Sengoku immediately raised a hand.
"No."
Akainu's head snapped toward him.
Sengoku continued, firm and unyielding.
"We don't know their full capabilities. Nagato alone was able to defeat an admiral with a single attack. And now we have Kisame—another unknown, one whose history we cannot track."
He let that hang in the air.
"For now, we monitor their movements," Sengoku declared. "And we treat them with the same caution we would when dealing with a Yonko."
Gasps, murmurs, disbelief.
Comparing three newcomers to Emperors of the Sea…It spoke volumes about how dangerous the situation truly was.
Akainu gritted his teeth, magma hissing from the corners of his mouth.
"You're telling me to sit back while these monsters roam free?"
"I'm telling you," Sengoku replied sharply, "that a reckless assault will only cost us more admirals. Until we understand the full extent of their abilities, we do not engage."
Akainu didn't answer. His jaw tightened, and he slowly sank back into his seat—but his eyes burned, hotter than magma.
Cowardice disguised as caution…
He could already picture the faces of the three criminals in his mind:Nagato, with his unnatural eyes. Enel, with his godlike arrogance. Kisame, the grinning shark.
It doesn't matter what Sengoku says.
Akainu's thoughts simmered like molten rock ready to erupt.
I'll find these scum myself. And I'll kill them.

Sabo ran over with a newspaper. " Dragon have you seen the news yet? An admiral has been defeated!"
Dragon nodded.
"That makes Four Celestial Dragons killed… and now an admiral wounded and defeated. Whoever this Nagato is, he's disrupting the world order at an unprecedented pace."
He folded the paper.
"And men who shake the world… are either allies to freedom."
His eyes narrowed.
"Or enemies to everyone."
The news continued to spread like wildfire across every sea.
Three names now carved into global fear:
NAGATO — 1,500,000,000 berries
ENEL — 970,000,000 berries
