Every time Miles went to AeRey, he never once managed to meet Edwin or any of AeRey's higher-ups. Instead, he became a target of ridicule.
The news spread among his peers. Some mocked him. Others told him to give up. Not a single one believed him.
That was when Miles realized he could never stand against a major company and a powerful name like Edwin Green, the son of their pack's leader.
Though his anger still burned, he eventually gave up. He focused on creating other ae-devices, but swore never to have anything to do with AeRey again. He even planned to leave the Green Pack.
A few months later, he received an invitation from Edwin. Of course, Miles refused to go. But men dressed in black came and forced him to come with them.
"I plan to expand the function of the ae-thermal cradle. Not only to refresh the body and improve sleep quality, but also to significantly strengthen the bond between the inner wolf and the werewolf."
