The Moment of Collision
It happened suddenly.
Y/N and her brother had taken shelter in a collapsed building, its walls cracked, its roof half gone. She lit a small fire, the flames flickering weakly. Her brother curled against her, his body trembling.
Outside, footsteps echoed. Voices carried faintly through the wind.
Jungkook's voice cracked, raw with desperation. "Y/N! Please!"
Her breath caught, her heart pounding. She rose, moving to the doorway. Her brother clutched her hand, his eyes wide. "It's them," he whispered.
She froze, her body trembling. Could she face them again? Could she bear their anger, their betrayal?
But then she saw him.
Jungkook.
His bow lowered, his eyes wide, his breath catching. Relief flooded his face, raw and unguarded. "Y/N…"
Her chest constricted, tears burning her eyes. "You found us."
He stumbled forward, his movements sharp, desperate. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her close, holding her as though he would never let go. His voice cracked, trembling. "I thought I lost you. I thought I'd never see you again."
Her sobs broke the silence, raw and jagged. "You told me not to go. But I did. I thought… I thought I killed him."
Jungkook's grip tightened, his voice fierce. "No. You saved him. You saved Taehyung. He's alive because of you."
Her breath caught, her body trembling. "He's alive?"
Jungkook nodded, his eyes burning. "Alive. And he wants to thank you."
The group gathered, their faces pale but filled with relief. Jimin sobbed, his arms wrapping around Y/N, his voice raw. "We were wrong. We blamed you. And you saved him."
Hoseok's tears streamed down his face, his voice trembling. "We threw you away. And you saved him."
Yoongi's jaw tightened, his voice hoarse. "We were fools. Forgive us."
Namjoon's eyes glistened, his voice steady but filled with guilt. "We made a mistake. A terrible mistake. But you gave us hope. You gave us Taehyung back."
Taehyung stepped forward, his smile faint but real. His eyes met Y/N's, soft and grateful. "You saved me. I thought I was gone. I thought I was lost. But you gave me another chance."
Her sobs shook her, her body trembling. "I thought I killed you."
Taehyung's smile softened, his voice gentle. "You gave me life. Don't ever think you failed."
Her brother clung to her, his eyes wide. "See? You saved him."
Tears streamed down her face, her chest constricting. "I just wanted to help."
Taehyung's hand settled on her shoulder, firm and grounding. "And you did."
Jungkook's arms wrapped around her again, his grip firm, his voice hoarse. "I thought I'd lost you forever. I couldn't breathe without you. Don't ever leave me again."
Her breath caught, her body trembling. "I thought you hated me."
His voice cracked, fierce. "Never. I could never hate you. I love you too much."
Her sobs broke the silence, raw and jagged. "I love you too."
Their eyes met, charged and unyielding. The world seemed to hold its breath.
And then, slowly, their lips met.
The kiss was soft at first, tentative, fragile. But then it deepened, raw and desperate, filled with everything they had held back. Tears streamed down their faces, their bodies trembling, their hearts pounding.
When they pulled back, their foreheads pressed together, their breaths mingling. Jungkook's voice was hoarse, fierce. "Promise me. Promise me you'll never leave me again."
Her voice trembled, but it was resolute. "I promise. Never again."
His grip tightened, his eyes burning. "Then I'll never leave you either. Not ever."
The group gathered closer, their grief transforming into determination. Jimin's tears slowed, Hoseok's sobs quieted, Yoongi's fists loosened. TXT leaned forward, their eyes wide with anticipation.
Namjoon's voice was firm, his eyes steady. "We'll protect her. We'll protect her brother. No matter what."
Jin's voice was gentle, his eyes soft. "She saved us. Now we'll save her."
Taehyung's smile was faint but filled with hope. "She gave me life. Don't let her think she failed."
The group nodded, their resolve stronger.
Y/N sat curled against Jungkook, her brother nestled beside her. Her body trembled, her breath shallow, but her heart was steady.
Jungkook's arm remained around her, his grip firm, his eyes burning with unspoken promises. "We'll get through this," he whispered. "Together."
She nodded, her voice trembling but resolute. "Together."
Their lips met again, soft and gentle, a promise sealed in the ruins.
And as the night stretched on, heavy but filled with fragile hope, they realized that their survival wasn't just a miracle. It was a chance to change everything.
