Chapter 2 – Reborn
"I can't see anything! Where… am I?"
Everything is blurry. My body feels small and weak. Then I hear a soft female voice nearby.
"I think he's healthy, Mrs. Rin," the nurse says gently.
"This baby really looks like you, Mrs. Rin."
Mrs. Rin's weak voice replies, "Can I… hold my baby?"
"Yes, but please be careful. Your condition isn't very good," the nurse warns softly.
"I know," she whispers. Her voice sounds faint — as if she already knows she won't make it. Even the nurse seems to understand, but says nothing to stop her.
"What name would you like to give him, Mrs. Rin?" the nurse asks.
"Well," she smiles weakly, "I think his name will be Itsuki Kurosawa. If I don't survive… please live as a good person, and never hurt others' feelings."
Tears roll down her cheeks. "Okay? Take care of your father. He will take care of you… I'm sure…"
Her breathing grows shallow. The nurse quickly takes me to another room.
I don't know what this feeling is — but I start crying. I just began my new life, and already… I lost someone who cared for me the most.
The world around me grows quiet. I hear muffled voices fade away as I keep crying like an idiot.
The Next Day
The nurse carries me to a man waiting outside.
He looks intimidating — a strong, cold aura surrounds him. Black hair, deep red eyes… he gives off business and villain vibes.
"So, this is my son," he says in a calm tone. "What did she name him?"
"Itsuki Kurosawa," the nurse replies softly. "That's what Mrs. Rin said before she…"
"I see." He nods slightly. "From now on, your name is Itsuki Kurosawa. I hope you like it."
He gives a faint, clever smile — one that feels both proud and distant.
Three Years Later
Three years have passed.
I've learned that my father, Akihiro Kurosawa, is one of the top businessmen in Japan. My mother was Rin Kurosawa — the woman who gave me life at the cost of her own.
My father gives off strong villain energy — he's strict, cold, and rarely home. Because of his business, I'm mostly surrounded by maids and servants who take care of me.
Our family quirks are unique:
Father's quirk: Fire
Mother's quirk: Teleportation
My father rarely uses his fire power, saying it's "unnecessary for business."
As for me—well, my appearance doesn't help. I have white hair and deep red eyes, which make everyone think I'm some kind of little mastermind villain. Even the maids are scared of me!
Still… I can't deny it.
"I look handsome," I say to my reflection with a grin. "No matter what angle I see myself from, I look awesome. Hehehehe!"
Age 4 – The Awakening
One day, my hands begin to glow — tiny flames flicker around my fingers.
"What… what is this?" My heart races. "Is this my quirk!?"
I burst out laughing, tears in my eyes. "I did it! I finally have my quirk!"
A maid sees the fire and screams, calling my father's personal assistant. Within minutes, they rush me to the hospital for testing.
In the Hospital Lab
Doctors scan my body, run tests, and check my energy levels. After a while, one doctor stares at the results, completely shocked.
"Incredible," he mutters. "This child… he can use both of his parents' quirks?"
He quickly informs my father's assistant, who is equally stunned.
Of course, I'm not surprised at all. After all, I already knew this was going to happen — thanks to that god.
Now that I have my powers, I'll train hard to master them. My goal is to evolve my fire into blue and eventually black flames, and perfect my teleportation before I enter high school.
After all the tests, they take me home. The assistant hands me over to one of the maids, then leaves.
I know exactly where he's going — to show my father the report.
In Akihiro Kurosawa's Office
"So… you're saying my son has exceptional power? Two quirks?" Akihiro asks in his usual cold tone.
"Yes, sir. He possesses both the fire and teleportation abilities."
Akihiro smirks, leaning back in his chair.
"I see… then he truly has potential. Perfect for the next head of the Kurosawa family."
He lets out a quiet laugh.
"Things are starting to get interesting."
