Chapter 33 - Chapter 33 You All Should Behave And Listen Then Only Right

"Hmm?" Kang Di paused, following Amy's gaze to the kitchen. The slender owner, diligently cooking, smiled and shook his head. "No, although the name might be the same, Mai Ge • Alex is a powerful and proud knight. He would never cook in a kitchen, and he doesn't have a daughter."

Mai Ge shrugged in the kitchen. Kang Di wasn't wrong. If he hadn't experienced that incident, the original owner was indeed a powerful and proud knight. How could someone who never even entered a kitchen cook?

But hearing he speak with such admiration, why did he feel a strange...smug satisfaction?

"My Daddy's rainbow fried rice is amazing! In my heart, my Daddy is the best, no matter what." Amy said, looking up at Kang Di with a serious expression.

"Hmm, I also believe this owner's cooking is delicious." Kang Di said, sitting back down with a smile, not arguing with Amy.

"Yes, that's right." Amy finally smiled again. The bell rang again at the door. Mo Bai pushed the door open first, followed by two two meters tall orcs, each carrying a spiked club as thick as an ordinary person's thigh.

"Boss Mo, when did such a beautiful restaurant open next door? What's good to eat?" Ha Beng, with a ring of animal teeth around his neck, asked loudly, his voice so loud that even Mai Ge in the kitchen could hear him.

"It only opened a couple of days ago. Of course, it has good food, which is why I brought you guys to try it. But let me make it clear, I'm not treating." Mo Bai smiled mysteriously and greeted Mai Ge, who turned around in the kitchen, "Boss Mai, I'm here again."

"You're much pickier than us brothers. If you say it's good, it must be good. As long as we can eat meat and drink alcohol to our hearts' content, we're fine." Ha Beng nodded, not giving it much thought. Ha Ga, standing to the side, looked around curiously, a simple, honest smile on his face. When Mo Bai and Ha Beng talked, he just chuckled twice without saying a word.

"Welcome." Mai Ge had just finished preparing the ingredients; the rice in the rice cooker wasn't ready yet. He walked to the door and smiled, "Please, all three of you, have a seat. There's a menu on the table."

Mai Ge subtly observed the two orcs. They were wearing animal skin aprons and open-fronted blouses, revealing long black hair on their chests. They were more than a head taller than normal humans, with dark brown skin and fangs about three centimeters long. Mai Ge immediately thought of the orcs in Warcraft.

Moreover, these two orcs seemed to be brothers, looking seven or eight parts alike. However, the one on the left, wearing the pressure necklace, seemed to have a more volatile temper, while the one on the right had a simple smile on his face. Although he was an orc, he seemed quite amiable.

"I don't need to look. The workload is a bit heavier today, three servings of Yang Zhou Fried Rice." Mo Bai said directly, sitting down at the table he'd been using the past two days. He smiled at Amy and said, "Good afternoon, little girl."

"Hello, Dwarf Grandpa Mo Bai." Amy nodded, then pointed to Kang Di beside and introduced, "He's a new friend, a dragon slayer."

"A dragon slayer?" Mo Bai glanced at the young knight with some surprise.

"Tch, what dragon slayer? He's probably someone who can't even beat a gnome." Ha Beng pulled out the chair opposite Mo Bai and sat down, looking at Kang Di with a mocking smile. This human, although wearing armor, had hands that barely showed calluses from wielding a sword; his complexion was fair—just a wealthy human.

"I aspire to be a dragon slayer, but I've never fought a gnome before, so the situation you described—being unable to defeat a gnobe—is untenable." Kang Di looked at Ha Beng, his smile still on his face, seemingly unconcerned by Ha Beng's words.

"So, you think you can beat me?" Ha Beng stood up, his exaggeratedly muscular physique bulging, a thick spiked club in one hand, staring at Kang Di with wide eyes.

"We haven't fought, so naturally I don't think I can't beat you. However, I won't fight you; my only target is the dragon." Kang Di smiled and shook his head, his gaze sweeping over Ha Beng's head and landing on the wallpaper behind him, where a giant dragon was breathing fire. "That's my opponent."

"You hypocritical knight, I think you want to fight me today, don't you?" Ha Beng slung his spiked club over his shoulder and pointed it at Kang Di, shouting.

"You both customers, this is a restaurant, not a gladiatorial arena. If you have any disputes, please settle them outside." Mai Ge said coldly, taking two steps forward as he looked at the two men, who were on the verge of exploding.

Mai Ge was internally cursing. The world without laws was indeed more chaotic than he had imagined. A disagreement could lead to a duel on the spot—what if they damaged the restaurant?

"Shut up!" Ha Beng turned and yelled at Mai Ge. In his eyes, this human was definitely on the same side as the knight in front him.

"Ha Beng..." Mo Bai's expression was somewhat displeased. He had originally intended to bring two guests to Mai Ge, hoping to cheer Amy up, but he hadn't expected a conflict to erupt so soon after they sat down. Feeling embarrassed, he wanted to tell this impetuous fellow to sit down.

Standing to the side, Ha Ga was also a little anxious, tugging at Ha Beng's clothes, hesitant to speak.

Mai Ge narrowed his eyes slightly, but before he could speak.

"Don't you dare yell at my Daddy!" Amy, who had been stunned by the sudden conflict, suddenly stepped in front of Mai Ge, shielding him behind her. She stretched out her hand, and a ball of blue purple flame shot up from her palm, the flame leaping more than half a meter high, scorching a white hole in the air.

"It's so hot!" Ha Beng, who was stand to the side, changed his expression and jumped back two steps. He glanced at the animal skin on his left sleeve which had been burned and rolled up by the intense heat, and then looked at the blue purple flame rising in Amy's hand. He couldn't help but swallow.

Such terrifying flames! The temperature is so terrifying even from a distance. If it landed on someone, they'd probably be burned to a crisp!

This little girl looks so small, but she's actually a mage with terrifying power. She can release flames faster than those old mages, and the intense heat feels even more terrifying than any human mage he's ever seen before.

Kang Di, who had already gripped the long sword on the table after seeing Ha Beng yell at Mai Ge, looked at Amy with some surprise. His gaze lingered on the flames in her hand for a moment before he put the sword down again. It seemed he wouldn't need to intervene today.

"Magic?" Mo Bai was equally stunned. He hadn't expected Amy to know magic, and quite powerfully at that, making Ha Beng somewhat wary.

"This is Daddy's restaurant, so you all should behave and listen then only right. Otherwise, if Little Amy gets angry, I'll throw fireballs at you!" Amy said in a somewhat old-fashioned tone, the flame in her hand slowly receding into a small purple fireball. Her gaze fell on Ha Beng, and she grinned, "I'm super fierce!"
