Chapter 383 - Chapter 381 Restaurant Mai Mi Is Back On The List!

"A drop of blood?" Yabemia looked at Elizabeth with some confusion.

"I want to verify something. If you don't want to, I won't force you." Elizabeth nodded.

Yabemia looked at Elizabeth, hesitated for a moment, then mustered her courage and asked, "You're a dragon, are you trying to help me find my father?"

"You could say that, but I'm just verifying something for myself. I can't guarantee I'll help you find that person." Elizabeth nodded, then shook her head.

"Okay, whatever you need, I'll give you." Yabemia nodded and extended her hand.

"Although I don't know why you found Mia, but I still want to ask, what is your purpose in seeking her out?" Sally, who had been silent for a long time, stood in front of Yabemia and then asked Elizabeth, who was walking towards them.

"I can't say about that, but I can assure you I have no ill intentions towards her." Elizabeth stopped and looked at Sally earnestly.

Sally stared into Elizabeth's eyes for a moment, then stepped aside. Dragons are a proud race and don't lie easily.

Elizabeth stepped forward, a thin ice needle appearing at her fingertip. Looking into Yabemia's heterochromatic eyes, which held a mixture of anticipation and nervousness, she gently pricked her fingertip with the needle.

"Eek~"

Yabemia let out a soft moan, but quickly suppressed it. Watching a drop of pale golden blood slowly rise from her fingertip, her eyes widened in disbelief.

A pale golden drop of blood, enveloped in crystalline frost, slowly rose until it reached eye level with Elizabeth's.

"Golden bloodline, unexpectedly pure. The bloodline of the Giant Golden Dragon is also golden, but if it was a Giant Golden Dragon, the power of its bloodline should be much stronger, not as gentle as this." Elizabeth looked at the blood bead in front of her, a hint of doubt in her eyes. She lightly traced a ring on the tip of her right finger with her left hand, and a palm-sized silver crystal landed in her hand. She then tossed it, and it landed directly below the blood bead, hovering in mid air as well.

The blood droplet, encased in ice crystals, suddenly lost its support and plummeted, exploding upon impact with the silver crystal. Pale golden blood fragments scattered, all absorbed by the silver crystal.

"Buzz~"

With a soft sound, the crystal, which had previously only emitted a faint silver glow, suddenly shone brightly and began to spin rapidly.

A beam of light projected from the crystal, like a projector, and an image appeared in mid air.

The image gradually came into focus, revealing a woman with gentle features, appearing to be around thirty years old. She wore a slightly worn floral dress, and although her face was somewhat pale, but her delicate features and gentleness were still undeniable.

"Mother!"

Yabemia looked at the woman in the image and couldn't help but take two steps forward, gazing at her intently, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"How could this be?" Elizabeth stared at the scene, her eyes also filled with astonishment. She had specifically returned to Dragon Island these past few days to retrieve the Reflection Stone, its most unique effect was that it could reveal one's bloodline origins through blood, which was why she had asked Yabemia for a drop of her blood.

But now, only the image of a woman is appearing in the Reflection Stone, which is not normal.

However, seeing Yabemia's expression, her gaze gradually softened. If her mother was appearing in the image, she would be even happier. She had even forgotten what her mother looked like, her image would never appear in the Reflection Stone.

The Reflection Stone didn't last long, the image gradually darkened, and at the very end, a dragon-shaped shadow suddenly appeared briefly, fleeting and blurry, leaving only a vague outline, let alone any indication of what kind of dragon it was.

"I'm sorry, it seems my bloodline isn't pure enough, so I can't tell what kind of bloodline I have." Yabemia stared at the disappearing image for a while before coming back to her senses. She looked at Elizabeth with an apologetic expression, her face still streaked with tears, making her look pitiful.

"It's alright. Perhaps you are a very special being, and we may meet again." Elizabeth shook her head. Although her voice was cold, but there was no blame in it. However, she could not hide her disappointment in her eyes. She put away the Reflection Stone, which had dimmed a little, turned around and left. A large snowflake rose from her feet and she disappeared from sight in the blink of an eye.

Yabemia stared blankly in the direction where Elizabeth had disappeared, and after a while, she suddenly began to sob softly.

"Mia, it's alright, your father will definitely come back for you." Sally looked at Yabemia and hesitated for a moment before gently patting her shoulder and softly comforting her.

"Aisha, am I really that useless? I don't even know what my own father looks like, where he is now, or what kind of person he is." Yabemia said, sobbing as she looked at Sally.

"How could that be? It's not your fault. He never let you see what he looked like, he never told you anything about him. It's not you who's useless. If one day he stands in front of you again, perhaps you can ask him whose fault it is." Sally shook her head, looking at Yabemia earnestly.

"Aisha, you're so good." Yabemia suddenly threw herself into Sally's arms, sobbing, "I saw my mother! So many years have passed, I had almost forgotten what she looked like, but she still looks the same…"

Sally, with her arms outstretched, softened her initially stiff expression as she listened to Yabemia's words. She gently embraced Yabemia, patting her back softly, without saying a word, simply listening to her.

"A dragon bloodline suppressed by human blood could never be that of a giant golden dragon. The giant golden dragon's bloodline is in no way weaker than that of a giant frost dragon, so it definitely isn't her… What a pity…" Walking down the long alley, Elizabeth murmured to herself, her gaze suddenly shifting to the side. Her eyes narrowed slightly, and a crystalline frost scimitar appeared in her hand. Then she pushed open the door beside her.

"The final rankings for this month's food list will be announced today. I wonder if there will be any big fluctuations?"

"Tch, what kind of fluctuations could there be? It'll definitely follow yesterday's rankings. It's the last day, do you think any restaurant can make a comeback and break into the top thirty?"

Under the magic screens in Aden Square, many people were waiting for the official announcement of this month's food rankings.

"What a pity. Restaurant Mai Mi should have had all five of its dishes in the top 100, but it's been dropped. I think this ranking list is no longer necessary." Harrison said with some regret.

"Yes, that's a pity." Jergi nodded in agreement.

"Boss, that's great! Our restaurant is definitely going to be in 29th place this time! Business will definitely be even better next month!" The waiter said to Richie with an excited look on his face.

"That's right, I knew our barbecue restaurant would definitely get 29th place this month." Richie's face was also filled with undisguised excitement, his eyes growing brighter as he looked at the flashing list.

"Restaurant Mai Mi is back on the list!"

As the list updated, a loud voice rang out from the crowd!
