Collapse Zone – 10:51 AM
Bakugo hit the ground hard. Concrete dust exploded around him, bits of rebar jutting like twisted ribs from the rubble.
"SHIT!" He rolled to his feet, palms already sparking. "Where the hell—"
"Bakugo!" Kirishima landed beside him, his hardened skin cracking the debris underfoot. "You okay?"
"Tch. Obviously." Bakugo scanned the wreckage. Buildings half-collapsed, shadows stretching in every direction.
And villains, at least twenty, emerging one by one like insects shaken from their nest.
"Well, look at that," said a man with bladed arms, smiling far too wide. A woman with a snake-like neck coiled behind him, and a hulking brute lumbered forward. "Two hero kids all alone."
"Alone?" Bakugo grinned, a sharp, feral look. "You idiots are trapped with me."
He blasted forward.
BOOM.
His palm crashed into the first villain's jaw, launching the man through a weakened wall with an ugly crunch.
"COME ON!" Bakugo roared. "IS THAT ALL YOU CAN DO?!"
Three villains lunged. Kirishima intercepted the brute, fist meeting fist in a shockwave that rattled loose concrete. Bakugo twisted mid-air, dodging a volley of bone-like spikes. He grabbed the shooter's arm.
"DIE!"
The explosion sent the villain tumbling through shattered flooring.
The stretchy-necked woman looped around Kirishima, choking him from behind.
"Bakugo! Little help!"
"Handle it yourself, Shitty Hair!" Bakugo snapped, already moving. He blasted her extended neck anyway, forcing her to recoil with a sharp yelp.
They didn't acknowledge their teamwork, but it flowed naturally, Bakugo carving openings, Kirishima sealing the gaps.
More villains. Ten. Fifteen. Too many to count.
"There's so many!" Kirishima braced as attacks hammered his hardened body. "They're not letting up!"
"SO WHAT?!" Bakugo gathered heat in his hands, sweat sliding down his jaw. "MORE TARGETS!"
He spun, palms out.
"STUN GRENADE!"
The blinding flash staggered half the villains. Kirishima barreled into them, delivering precise, non-lethal strikes while they were dazed.
"We gotta regroup with the others!" Kirishima shouted.
"Then start running! I'm already moving!" Bakugo blasted ahead, clearing a path through the debris. Groaning villains littered the ground behind them.
The fight wasn't over, not even close.
Fire Zone – 10:52 AM
Ojiro landed in the middle of a firestorm. Heat pressed against his skin like a heavy hand, and smoke clawed at his eyes.
"Not good." He vaulted over a rising wall of flame, tail propelling him to a patch of scorched concrete.
Four villains stepped out of the fire. Their skin barely reddened by the heat; they were too used to it.
"A tail? That's your whole thing?" one sneered. "Cute."
Ojiro steadied his breathing. "It's enough."
He moved. Fast. His tail swept low, knocking two off balance. Before they hit the ground, he struck—solar plexus, temple—clean, controlled hits.
But the flames kept spreading. The whole zone felt like an oven.
He needed to move.Find the others.Make a path out.
Ojiro swung between a pair of burning pillars. A villain intercepted, jetting a stream of fire right at him.
Ojiro twisted mid-air. His tail hooked around the man's neck, using momentum to slam him into the ground.
"One down."
He coughed, lungs tightening. Smoke was getting thicker. Still three more to handle.
He pressed on.
Mountain Zone – 10:53 AM
"This is bad!" Kaminari ducked behind a boulder as rocks clattered down the slope. "Like, really bad!"
"Stay calm, Kaminari-kun!" Yaoyorozu extended a thick shield from her arm, the metal clanging as debris bounced off. "We need a plan!"
"How am I supposed to think when we're about to DIE?!"
Jiro pressed her earphone jacks to the stone wall. "Eight villains. Three above, five below. They're trying to pin us in."
"Of course they are!" Kaminari sputtered. "My Quirk can't do anything to rocks! I can't just—just short-circuit a mountain!"
"Not useless," Yaoyorozu murmured, her mind already constructing possibilities. "Jiro-san, can you destabilize the rock above us?"
"I can try, but—"
"Kaminari-kun, can you channel electricity through a conductor?"
"Uh, yeah? But why—"
She created a long metal rod and thick insulating blankets. "Jiro-san will shake them loose. When they reach for the ground to steady themselves, you electrify it."
Kaminari blinked. Then grinned. "Okay, that's actually genius."
Jiro shook the mountain.
"HEARTBEAT FUZZ!"
The vibrations rattled through the stone. Villains above lost their footing and grabbed at the earth instinctively.
"Now!" Yaoyorozu shouted, wrapping herself and Jiro in insulation.
Kaminari drove the rod into the damp soil.
"1.3 MILLION VOLTS!"
Electricity tore through the ground. The villains seized, collapsed.
"We did it!" Kaminari cheered.
Yaoyorozu pointed downhill. Five more villains were climbing up, unfazed.
"Celebration later. We still have work to do."
They reset their stances. Round two coming fast.
Landslide Zone – 10:53 AM
Ice crept across the broken terrain.
Todoroki stood calm at the zone's center, loose rock shifting under his feet. The environment favored him completely.
A dozen villains circled him, already confident.
"Just one kid? Easy."
"You chose the wrong opponent," Todoroki said evenly.
Ice erupted outward in a sweeping arc, freezing ten villains in place before they could blink.
"What?!"
"Monster!"
Two more lunged from behind. Another ice wave silenced them.
Invisible nearby, Hagakure moved quietly, relaying information about a tunneling villain. Todoroki froze the ground before the attacker could surface.
He shaped a path of ice toward the plaza.
He could see Aizawa in the distance. He was alone, bleeding, facing that creature with the exposed brain.
I need to get there. Now.
He moved.
Squall Zone – 10:54 AM
Rain hammered the ground. Wind pulled at clothing. Lightning cracked overhead.
Perfect darkness for Dark Shadow.
"FINALLY!" Dark Shadow surged outward, enormous in the storm's gloom. "LET ME LOOSE!"
Tokoyami strained, digging his boots into the mud. "Dark Shadow—focus on the villains!"
The creature tore through the rain, flinging enemies aside. Water-based Quirks barely slowed him.
Behind Tokoyami, Koda trembled but whistled sharply. Birds emerged from the storm—crows and hawks—harassing villains with relentless dives.
"Good work," Tokoyami managed, breath tight.
Dark Shadow grabbed three villains and smashed them together.
"MORE!"
"Control yourself!" Tokoyami hissed, but the storm fed Dark Shadow too well.
Lightning. If lightning hits, I can reel him in—
He looked toward the plaza. They had to move before Dark Shadow fully slipped away.
"Koda-kun, stay close. We're heading out."
Central Plaza – 10:55 AM
"THIRTEEN!"
The remaining students watched helplessly as Kurogiri's mist wrapped around their teacher. Thirteen tried to activate Black Hole, but Kurogiri turned the force back on her. The suit tore; she collapsed.
"No!" Sero fired tape, dragging Kurogiri off balance. "Everyone, to the entrance!"
Ashido melted the door lock. "Move, move!"
"I'll get help!" Iida said, engines flaring.
"Iida-kun, wait!"
Sero yanked Kurogiri out of Uraraka's path. "GO!"
Kurogiri's fog thickened. "Do not let him escape."
Satou charged in, sugar-fueled muscles bulging. His punch scattered the mist just long enough for Iida to break through the entrance.
"RECIPRO BURST!"
Behind him, the others fought desperately—Aoyama firing wild beams, Uraraka levitating debris into makeshift barriers.
Aizawa's Fight – 10:56 AM
Aizawa's scarf snapped around three villains. With a practiced jerk, he slammed them together and followed with a sharp elbow.
Twenty-two down.
His eyes burned. His costume hung in tatters. Blood dripped down his cheek. He kept going.
The kids need time.
Then he felt movement, a blur. The Nomu.
He tried to erase its Quirk.Nothing.
Multiple Quirks—
The punch hit before he finished the thought. Air vanished from his lungs as he flew.
The Nomu seized his arm.
CRACK.
White-hot pain ripped through him.
He screamed. The Nomu lifted him and slammed him into the ground. Again. And again.
Vision blurred. The world swayed.
I'm… sorry. I couldn't.
The Nomu raised its fist.
Flood Zone – Same Moment
From the boat, we saw everything.
"SENSEI!" Midoriya's voice broke.
My hands clenched the railing.
Should I move—
The entrance exploded.
"I AM HERE!"
All Might appeared in a burst of smoke and wind. In a handful of heartbeats, he crossed the plaza, caught the Nomu's fist, pulled Aizawa out of range, moved the students aside.
We blinked, and suddenly we were safe near the entrance.
He made it. Canon's still on track.
Midoriya's relief was raw. "All Might…"
Shigaraki scratched furiously at his neck. "You're late. And alone."
All Might smiled, but there was a tremor in his shoulders.
He's almost out of time.
The Nomu readied itself beside Shigaraki.
Kurogiri completed the triangle around them.
"This," Shigaraki breathed, "is going to be fun."
