"if you hadn't come back till now, ma might have actually disowned me" Ian said to Finn as he helped him arrange his bags
"Ma thought you were gonna spend Christmas with us. She nagged so much I thought my ear might as well grow callouses" Ian complained
"I wanted to" Finn said as he sunk tiredly into the bed
"but my na had a whole lot of orders for the holidays that she couldn't turn down. I couldn't let her do it herself" Finn explained
"It's good that you're here. I can finally clean up those pests. I kept on pretending nothing happened for so long" Ian said in disgust
"I really don't know any good spots to hide bodies here" Finn said jokingly
Ian picked up a pillow and threw at Finn, who caught it with practiced ease
"Do you want my love life to be destroyed before it even has a chance to begin?" Ian asked sourly
Ian took a sit beside Finn and stare at him intensely
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Finn asked
"What really happened? I know your ma would let you leave the minute she knows you were coming over to our house. She would have packaged you and shipped you over personally if she could" Ian said holding Finn's shoulder
"Ma can believe your lies but not me, I've known you my whole life" Ian said feeling a bit upset
"It's nothing really" Finn said
"Is it Rory?" Ian asked, he felt Finn stiffen as his expression changed subtly
"Did he break up with you?"
"When he stopped taking my calls or responding to my texts anymore I thought he got busy" Finn explained with a sigh "when I got home I saw him" Ian could hear the pain in Finn's voice
"So?" Ian urged a bit impatiently
"Rory got married" Finn concluded
"What the fuck" Ian was really pissed right now "that bloody cheating bastard"
"He said I was just an experience, that he wasn't really into guys" Finn said as he broke into a son "he came into my life when I was fifteen, I gave my whole heart to him Ian, I really loved him. I treated him honestly"
"Hush Finn" Ian said pulling Finn into a hug "the bastard never deserved you, he wasn't worthy of your love"
"I should have listened to you when you warned me about him, I mean he was older than I was and you never had good feelings about him" Finn said sadly
"There's nothing wrong with falling in love, you just fell in love with the wrong one. There's a lot of people out there, I know you'd definitely find someone better. Someone worthy of you, of your love" Ian comforted
He patted Finn's back quietly and watched as Finn bawled his eyes out

"You guys are here already " Ian said as he opened the door
He quickly ushered Irida and Elini in and quickly led them to his room
"First week of school is always so hectic" Elini complained as she joined Irida on the bed
"You're just lazy" Irida said in a scoff as she rolled her eyes at Elini
"Here" Ian came in with juice and handed them a box of juice each
"But why would you girls go to school on a Saturday?" Ian asked
"Why don't you ask Elle" Irida said scoffing again"she volunteered to clean up and decided to sign me up too"
"But they promised to add it to our high school merit points" Elini explained
She slumped into the bed, burrowing her whole body into the bed
"Who knew they were gonna make us work so hard, basically just used us for free labor" Elini complained. She was never believing anything anymore
"Babbbbbbyyyyyyy" Finn's voice was heard from outside as he dashed into the the room and clung unto Ian's body like a koala
Ian face palmed as he saw the weird looks that Irida and Elini were giving him, he really couldn't be blamed for having such a friend
"Please don't ruin my image" Ian said, as he forcefully pried Finn from himself
"Baby, I missed you" Finn said with his head dropped sadly
He noticed that Ian still didn't console him so Finn look up unhappily, noticing the girls that were looking at him weirdly he felt a bit embarrassed
"Hi" Finn said flashing them a tooth grin
"Hello" Elini and Irida responded
"This is Finn, my best friend" Ian quickly explained trying to break the awkward silence "Finn, meet Irida and Elini"
"Oh pleasure to meet you girls, I've heard a lot about you" Finn said stretching his hand for a hand shake
"We've heard nothing about you" Irida said with a smile
Ian had never talked about having any friends at all
"I'd be surprised if even my name was ever mentioned by mistake" Finn said offhandedly
