Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: It's a waste not to do something with this mouth!

Lose?

Doesn't exist.

With just these few people, he could take down two even if he fought to the death.

But, would these guys dare to fight him to the death?

The older people get, the more they fear death.

As long as he doesn't fight to the death, he is invincible.

Is this guy crazy?

Yuan Boling's face was full of disbelief, and she looked at Hayato as if he were a lunatic.

What on earth does this guy want to do?

He's actually helping an Evil Spirit?

However, thinking of the deranged things Aoi Hai had done, Yuan Boling suddenly fell silent.

Compared to the Evil Spirit, it seemed that the things Aoi Hai had done were even more deranged.

However, just watching the Evil Spirit attack humans, she couldn't quite get over it in her heart.

While she was thinking, Hayato had already engaged in a confrontation with those Masters.

"Laymen, this road is blocked!"

Hayato held the prayer beads and smiled slightly.

He looked down at the ground with lowered brows, like a Bodhisattva, his face full of kindness.

The leading Shinto Priest didn't even look at him and was about to walk out of the villa to drive away the Evil Spirit.

Buzz!

Buddha light permeated, like a barrier blocking all exits.

"I said, no passage ahead."

Hayato's smile disappeared, replaced by a calmly terrifying expression.

Vajra glares, only kills, does not save.

Bodhisattva lowers his brows, sees no living beings.

"Help me!"

The Shinto Priest snorted coldly, drew in the air with his hand, and set up a barrier.

The Monk and the Onmyoji beside him also attacked together.

"Absolve!"

The Onmyoji, dressed in a kariginu, pulled out a handful of talismans and casually threw them forward.

The moment the talismans hit the ground, they transformed into a swarm of small imps rushing towards Hayato.

"Shikigami?"

Hayato glanced casually, his right hand naturally hanging down, palm facing inward, middle finger pointing towards the ground.

Buddha light gathered behind him, forming an illusory Buddha phantom.

The Buddha sat cross-legged, his right hand naturally hanging down, palm facing inward, placed between his right knee and calf, middle finger touching the ground.

In an instant, immeasurable Buddha light shone everywhere, and faint Sanskrit chants resounded.

Wherever the Buddha light passed, the dense shikigami instantly scattered.

This mudra was a Dharma seal he comprehended while chanting the medicine buddha sutra and visualizing the Medicine Buddha's Dharma form.

The Buddhist Subduing Mara Mudra is also called the Earth-Touching Mudra.

Legend has it that when Sakyamuni was cultivating to attain enlightenment, a demon king constantly came to disturb him, hoping to prevent his pure cultivation.

Later, Sakyamuni touched the earth with his right finger, calling the earth to witness, and the Earth God came out to prove that Sakyamuni had achieved Buddhahood, finally making the demon king submit in fear.

Therefore, this mudra is known as the Subduing Mara Mudra.

This mudra signifies the subjugation of demonic hosts, symbolizing the Buddha's victory over inner afflictions and external demonic obstacles, reaching the state of enlightenment.

In Esoteric Buddhism, this is also the mudra of Akshobhya Buddha within the Vajra Realm Mandala.

Although he had not yet reached the realm of a Buddha, performing this gesture still possessed the power to subdue demons.

"Namo Medicine Buddha Lapis Lazuli Light Tathagata!"

Hayato silently chanted a Buddha's name, and the Buddha light behind him, which had formed the Buddha phantom, gradually dissipated.

Although the Subduing Mara Mudra possessed the power to subdue demons, its consumption was extremely large.

He could only maintain it for a brief moment.

Swish!

Just then, a feathered arrow attacked from behind.

Thud!

Behind the Shinto Priest, the old Monk who was about to attack broke out in a few drops of cold sweat on his forehead.

The arrow grazed his face as it flew past, firmly embedding itself in the hard tile.

Looking behind Hayato, Yuan Boling, holding a longbow, was squinting slightly and staring at him coldly.

Immediately, the thought of attacking vanished from his mind.

If that arrow just now had been aimed at his head, he would be dead by now.

Hayato glanced at the Woman, surprised that she would actually help him.

"Don't misunderstand, I just feel like you look more pleasing to the eye than they do."

Yuan Boling snorted coldly and turned her head away.

Hayato smiled slightly and didn't take it to heart.

With this Woman holding back the old Monk, the remaining Shinto Priest and Onmyoji were simply no match for him.

"Ah!"

Suddenly, a mournful wail came.

Inside the Estate, Aoi Hai, with a look of terror, fell to the ground, his body covered in wounds cut by sharp blades.

Cangjing Kumi, who had become an Evil Spirit, also had her mouth cut open by scissors in terror, tortured to death.

Seeing Aoi Hai's tragic death, the bodyguards inside the Estate fled in panic as if they had seen a ghost.

The Shinto Priest and others frowned slightly, but with the employer already dead, what was the point of them staying here?

Dead people don't pay.

Besides, these two people in front of them were truly difficult to deal with.

They were paid to exorcise demons; it wasn't worth risking their lives for a dead person.

They glanced at Hayato's handsome face, seemingly wanting to remember it.

The Shinto Priest snorted coldly and turned to leave.

The Monk and the Onmyoji also left the Estate one after another.

Until everyone had left, the Estate suddenly became quiet.

Tanaka Saya, having successfully taken revenge, closed her eyes, the Yin energy on her body becoming denser, seemingly undergoing some kind of transformation.

The fierce resentment on her body had completely dissipated.

"layman, having resolved your obsession, you shall now cultivate Buddha Law with me, so that you may attain Buddhahood sooner."

Hayato clasped his palms together, smiled, and said softly.

Tanaka Saya heard the movement and opened her eyes.

Her originally pitch-black eyes were now clearly defined black and white, completely clear.

Hearing this, she lightly snorted and rolled her eyes at Hayato in disdain.

"Don't worry, I won't go back on my word."

How could she not know what this Monk was thinking?

However, since he had helped her get revenge, she naturally had to fulfill her promise.

It was just her nature to keep promises.

Tanaka Saya's face flushed, and she slowly took off the mask on her face.

The hideous gash at the corners of her mouth also returned to normal as her obsession dissipated.

Her entire demeanor instantly rose a level.

Looking at the man who had helped her get revenge, Tanaka Saya's heart couldn't help but soften, and her deliberately cold eyes became gentle.

Her hazy eyes misted over, exuding an indescribable charm and tenderness.

Looking at those pink and tender lips, Hayato was in a good mood.

Before, that mouth was too terrifying; although he wasn't afraid, he rarely debated Buddha Law with Tanaka Saya verbally.

To avoid feeling uncomfortable and delaying his cultivation of Buddha Law.

Now, he could properly cultivate this aspect of talent.

Such a beautiful mouth, if not used properly for something.

It would truly be a waste of resources.

He just didn't know if it could swallow it.
