Far from everything happening between Alice and Kara, Rose was in a strange club. In that place, everyone seemed the same, and she was speaking to a mysterious figure.
"So Alice is dating a human now?" the figure asked with a tone of curiosity.
"A human girl, actually," Rose said with rejection.
"Damn, she really doesn't turn anyone down, does she?" the figure said, impressed and laughing at the same time.
"Well, neither does the council… unless someone tells them," Rose said in a threatening tone, as if she wanted to do something.
"And do you want to do that?" the figure asked.
"Not at the moment. I still have some matters to settle with her, but not to the point of turning her in."
"How cute," the figure replied.
"So, Ruby, don't you miss her? After all, she's the one who turned you. Doesn't that bother you?" Rose asked, laughing at Ruby.
"I do miss her, but I know that in some way she's happy… and if she's happy, that's enough for me. Different from some people," Ruby answered, her tone sarcastic but carrying a sense of relief.
"Wow, you bitch… despite all that, I actually like you," Rose said, laughing and sipping her drink from a glass that, in truth, held blood. Right after, she grabbed a human who had approached the two and began feeding on him.
"You really never change, do you?" Ruby said.
The place revealed itself as a hidden vampire club in the center of the city, frequented by vampires and some humans who went willingly, serving as food out of pure pleasure and fetish. Near Rose and Ruby stood a mysterious figure who had overheard their entire conversation about Alice and Kara. Quietly, they took a sip of their blood drink and walked away.
