Chapter 23 - Who Says You Can’t Join Two Clubs?

"How… how is it?"

A so-called "ghost member" can participate in club activities entirely at their own discretion.

Freedom was extremely high.

If that was the case, then as long as he managed his time properly, it wouldn't interfere with Bai Qiu's participation in the band's training sessions.

To be honest, Bai Qiu's heart had already begun to waver.

There was delicious food here, and cute girls.

And Yui really hoped he would stay.

Besides, joining the Light Music Club could also earn him more notes.

Why wouldn't he do it?

But… there was still one thing.

Thinking of this, Bai Qiu's expression turned troubled.

"But… I've already joined the Astronomy Club. Can I still join the Light Music Club?"

"No problem at all!"

said with certainty.

Then, with a slightly puzzled look at Bai Qiu, she added:

"Who says a person can only join one club?"

The school indeed didn't have a rule that limited students to one club, but most students had limited energy.

Some joined just to satisfy their homeroom teacher and get credits.

Some did it to avoid seeming out of place.

So generally, everyone only joined one club.

Bai Qiu, who had once been a member of the NEET club, obviously didn't know much about this.

"Besides, the Astronomy Club is more like a hobby group, so it's even less of an issue."

 smiled broadly.

Because she herself was facing a potential disbandment and demotion to a hobby club, she understood the Astronomy Club's situation well.

Hearing this, Bai Qiu relaxed and smiled.

"Then I'll join. Please take care of me from now on, Captain Ritsu."

"Yeah! Leave it to me!"

puffed up her chest and glanced proudly at the other girls.

See? Your club president is pretty cool, right?

But the girls didn't seem to notice.

They were all too busy welcoming Bai Qiu with bright, joyful smiles.

Slightly deflated, Ritsu almost said something…

Just then, a delicate, cheerful piano melody floated in from outside the window.

It seemed to be celebrating the establishment of the Light Music Club.

The music drifted naturally through the glass, the beautiful melody tugging at hearts and drawing listeners in, entrancing them without their noticing.

Akiyama Mio, a lover of music, murmured subconsciously, "Amazing…"

"Yeah…"

Bai Qiu nodded as well. At least with his lv2 piano skills, he felt he couldn't play at this level yet.

In other words, this was already at a professional standard.

Looks like this school was full of talent!

"Don't let it intimidate you or make you feel inferior! Our Tsumugi is amazing too!"

"Right, Tsumugi? Something like this is nothing for you!"

looked at Kotobuki Tsumugi with full confidence.

Akiyama Mio and Bai Qiu, roused from their admiration of the piano, turned to her as well.

Kotobuki Tsumugi thought for a moment.

"Well… it doesn't look like it's that easy."

Hearing this, let out a small sigh but still encouraged her: "I believe in you."

Kotobuki Tsumugi, feeling inspired, pumped her fist in excitement. "I'll do my best!"

Afterwards, prepared to sip some tea and eat a slice of cake to recharge.

But she noticed that everyone's plates had somehow already been emptied.

"Wha… the cake?"

 looked bewildered.

"Not me!"

Hirasawa Yui shook her head frantically like a groundhog, but the corner of her mouth betrayed her.

No wonder she hadn't said a word earlier!

Shock, curiosity, disbelief…

Everyone looked at Hirasawa Yui with different expressions.

How big is your stomach… you actually ate five servings of cake?!

Yui stuck out her tongue.

"Hehe!"
