Elion continued walking down the hallway while holding onto Isolde's hand. She followed beside him awkwardly, her eyes fixed on where their hands were joined.
'Oh my god, he's holding my hand!' she screamed inwardly. 'What should I do!?'
Honestly, she had no idea.
When she first heard the rumors about what Elion had supposedly done to those three girls, her heart had dropped immediately.
She knew she should probably have been worried about them… but that wasn't what came to her mind first.
Instead, she had been worried about him.
Not even for a moment had she believed that Elion would do something like that. He was too kind and too caring to ever hurt someone like that.
Her gaze drifted up to his broad back as he walked in front of her.
'He looks so strong… and so dependable.'
How had he gone from the weak Elion she used to pity every day to being… this?
She didn't know.
But she liked this version of him.
No… it was more than just liking.
