"You can see the structure of artifacts?" she asked.
"I can see their materials, enchantments, weaknesses, hidden effects, and even possible improvements if I focus properly."
Her eyes brightened instantly. "Can you examine what I am working on?"
Elion had expected that reaction.
"That is partly why I came here."
Isla quickly returned to the workbench and gestured towards the circular object held between the clamps.
Elion moved beside her.
"What is it?"
"A prototype mana regulator."
She picked up one of the nearby sketches and showed it to him.
"The Mobile Workbench contains several tools that require large amounts of mana. Some of them draw energy too quickly, especially when multiple functions are active at once. I thought I could create something that controls the flow and prevents unnecessary loss."
Elion studied the detailed diagram.
