Humans are paradoxical creatures. They are capable of doing things that aren't in alignment with, or sometimes opposite of, what they believe in.
Think about it. You've probably found yourself in a situation where you were pressured to agree with something when, in reality, you didn't agree with it.
Humans were structurally made of contradictions. But worry not, as it is of no fault of our own. Sometimes we have strong beliefs and codes of conduct in our lives that we fail to implement in favour of choosing the easier route. It's easier to choose the simpler and less backbreaking path, because why choose the harder one, right?
