Chapter 15 - CHAPTER 15 THE PLANET THAT REMEMBERED HIM

CHAPTER 15 The Planet That Remembered Him

The night was silent, but Rian couldn't sleep.

His heartbeat felt wrong.

Too steady… too calm… as if waiting for something.

He lay back on the cold mattress, eyes closed. But the moment his eyelids touched—

The world vanished.

A blue-white cosmic sky unfolded before him.

Suns—three of them—hung in the sky like burning crowns.

A planet of forests, crystal rivers, and towering silver cities lay beneath him.

Kirigilian.

He didn't know how he knew the name.

But he knew.

His heart recognized the soil before his mind did.

Home.

Wind pushed against him though he wasn't moving. Then—voices rose around him. Hundreds. Thousands.

A sea of people stood gathered in a massive open circular plaza.

Men. Women. Children. Soldiers in glistening armor of obsidian and silver.

All eyes gazed at one figure walking forward.

Him.

Not the current 14-year-old Rian.

But the past him:

White hair flowing behind him like a comet tail

Eyes glowing like twin moons

A long coat with a sigil embroidered on the back—a spiral of stars forming an eye

His presence heavy, divine, terrifying, beautiful

He didn't walk.

He commanded existence to move aside for him.

People fell to their knees, a unified sound like thunder hitting the earth.

"ALL HAIL THE STARSLAYER!"

Their voices shook the atmosphere.

Rian felt his breath stop.

Star… slayer?

Then the dream shifted—like a flicked page.

---

A Battle Above the Skies

He was now floating in the upper atmosphere of Kirigilian.

Below, the planet glowed like a jewel in space.

Before him—massive warships approached.

Dark steel. Blood-red banners.

Garnarian Galaxy Fighters.

They fired plasma lances, entire city zones burning in seconds.

And yet—

Past-life Rian stood alone.

One man.

Against an army.

He raised his hand.

The stars flickered.

No… they responded.

He pulled.

Reality bent.

A spear formed.

A spear forged of starlight.

He hurled it—

And it split an entire battleship in half as if slicing butter.

He teleported—no, blinked—into the heart of the fleet.

Every motion was perfect. Precise. Efficient. Godlike.

He didn't fight like a warrior.

He fought like a natural disaster.

No hesitation.

No mercy.

No fear.

He was strength.

He was authority.

He was inevitable.

---

The Memory Ends

The dream shifted again.

People bowing to him…

Children reaching out to touch his cloak…

Soldiers screaming his name in worship…

The planet whispering one word:

"Protector."

Then—

A whisper near his ear.

Not memory.

Someone was speaking to him now.

The white-haired man—his past self—turned and looked directly at the Rian of the present.

Same face. Same eyes. Only older. Sharper. More terrifying.

"You are not weak in this life."

Rian tried to speak—but his voice didn't exist here.

The past self stepped closer.

"This world wants you to forget."

He touched Rian's forehead.

The cosmos folded in.

"But your body remembers."

A burning locked behind Rian's chest—

A seal cracking—

A heartbeat echoing like a war drum—

BOOM.

Rian gasped awake.

Sweat dripping.

Heart shaking the bed.

Breath uneven.

But something was different.

Something inside him had awakened.

He could feel the pulse of power in his veins.

Not fully.

Not even close.

But the door was now open.

And deep inside his mind…

A whisper remained:

"Kirigilian never stopped waiting for you."
