The golden light of late afternoon filtered through the arched windows of Hogwarts, casting long, melancholic shadows across the stone floors of the Divination classroom. Deep within the North Tower, Sybill Trelawney sat amidst her clutter of lace drapes and smelling salts, her large eyes hidden behind thick glasses as she pored over an ancient, leather-bound tome. The air was thick with the scent of dried sage and old parchment.
A heavy, familiar tread echoed on the stairs, and Rubeus Hagrid's massive frame appeared in the doorway. He looked at the fragile professor with a gaze full of gentle concern, his large hands resting awkwardly at his sides.
"Are you okay, Miss Trelawney, ma'am?" Hagrid asked, his voice a low rumble that seemed to vibrate the teacups.
Sybill looked up, her bangles clattering softly as she adjusted her shawl. She offered a faint, ethereal smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.
"Yes, Hagrid," she replied, her voice wispy and distant. "I'm okay."
With trembling hands, she reached for a delicate glass and poured a steaming serving of coffee, extending it toward the half-giant.
"Thank you," Hagrid said, taking the glass with careful precision.
He sank into a reinforced chair that groaned under his weight. For a long while, the two sat in a comfortable, albeit heavy, silence, sipping their coffee and discussing the state of the castle. They spoke of the changing seasons and the quiet corridors, but the conversation eventually turned toward the weight of the coming war. Hagrid finished his drink and stood up, his presence filling the small room.
"Don't get scared, ma'am," Hagrid said, trying to infuse his voice with a confidence he desperately hoped was true. "Harry and his friends are there to save Hogwarts, and all the students in Hogwarts are really brave and strong."
He looked toward the window, as if he could see across the vast distance to where the young heroes were.
"I believe in James Potter, and Rose, and Scorpius too," Hagrid continued firmly. "They will definitely achieve their goal and will kill Voldemort and his army."
Sybill Trelawney nodded slowly, her expression softening into a sad smile as she agreed with the groundskeeper's sentiment. With a final, encouraging nod, Hagrid walked out of the room, leaving the professor alone with her thoughts.
Suddenly, the stillness was shattered. A violent, unnatural wind whipped through the open windows, tearing through the room like a physical hand. The heavy drapes flailed wildly, and the smell of ozone filled the air. With a sickening thud, Trelawney's prized crystal ball was knocked from its velvet cushion, rolling across the floor, while her deck of tarot cards was swept into the air, scattering like dead leaves in a storm.
Gasping, Sybill rushed to close the windows, her thin frame struggling against the force of the gale. Once the latch was secured, she turned to survey the wreckage. Her heart hammered in her chest as she saw the cards lying in chaotic patterns across the floor. She began to gather them with shaking fingers, but her breath hitched when she realized a specific card was missing from the pile.
She searched the floor frantically until her eyes landed on a small table near the wall. On it sat a photo frame—a captured moment of joy where James, Rose, Scorpius, and Bobby were all smiling broadly alongside her. It was a relic of happier times, but now, a single tarot card had landed directly over the frame, obscuring the faces of the children.
Sybill walked toward the photo, her hand reaching out as if she were afraid the card might burn her. She picked it up and looked at the illustration. Her face went deathly pale, and the air seemed to leave her lungs.
"The Devil Card," she whispered, her voice cracking as she fell to her knees, the card clutched in her trembling hand.
"The Devil card is ominous and dangerous as well," she asked herself, her eyes wide with terror. "What danger is going to attack on James, Rose, and Scorpius now?"
She looked at the photo, where the card had specifically landed over the images of the three friends.
"Happening like this and an ominous tarot card falling on the photo is not good at all," she whimpered. "What is going to happen now? What danger is going to fall on them?"
The professor clutched her head, her body racking with shivers.
"I am already feeling bad and feel something terrible is going to happen," she moaned. "And that too, it is unimagined."
Her gaze drifted to the crystal ball lying on the floor. It hadn't broken yet, but it pulsed with a strange, sickly light. She reached out and took the glass sphere into her hands, and the moment her skin made contact, her eyes rolled back into her head.
The mists inside the ball cleared, revealing a terrifying vision. She saw a jagged, desolate mountain and a sword embedded in stone. Then, the vision shifted beneath the earth. A heavy, ancient box lay hidden under the soil, but it was no longer still. A purple-black gemstone, the Raven Claw, began to glow with a dark red light, intermingled with flashes of blue and purple. The stone pulsed like a dying heart, and the box began to rattle and shift, trying to break free from its earthen grave.
Sybill's body jerked as she fell into a deep, terrifying trance. Her voice changed, becoming low and resonant, echoing with a power that was not her own.
"DANGER! HUGE DANGER!" she cried out to the empty room.
"DARK KING IS GOING TO ARISE FROM HIS DARKNESS AND HIS OLD REVENGE PAST!"
"NO ONE IS GOING TO SURVIVE!"
"JAMES......"
The name was a scream of agony. Suddenly, a blinding pain lanced through her skull. The crystal ball in her hands vibrated violently until, with a sharp crack, it shattered into a thousand jagged pieces automatically.
Sybill collapsed onto the cold stone floor, her strength spent. As her consciousness began to fade, she stared at the shards of glass reflecting the dim light.
"Danger... Huge danger," she said weakly, her eyes fluttering shut. "No one......"
She fell into an unresponsive unconsciousness, the Devil card still gripped in her hand.
High above a jagged mountain range, far from the safety of Hogwarts, the air was cold and thin. James Potter and his friends were soaring through the clouds, mounted upon the formidable backs of their dragons, Thorn Claw and Nyx Blazer. The wind whipped at their cloaks, but the mood was heavy with anticipation.
Dagger, leaning forward against the scales of the dragon, shouted over the wind to James.
"According to my knowledge, achieving the Raven Claw gemstone is so tough and difficult, James," Dagger warned. "We have to be very much careful."
Miss Mirael, flying nearby, adjusted her grip and nodded in solemn agreement.
"Yes, James, Dagger is right," Mirael called out. "Achieving the Raven Claw gemstone is really hard and difficult. Remember, after landing in that place, HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL. The place is filled with a lot of dangers."
Every member of the team nodded, their faces grim. They knew the stakes were rising with every mile they traveled. After a grueling flight, the dragons began their descent, landing with heavy thuds on a desolate, mist-shrouded plateau.
As the group dismounted, Kael Nightshade immediately moved toward Rose. He reached out and caught her hand, his grip uncomfortably tight as he leaned in close.
"Don't worry, Rose," Kael said, his voice dripping with a forced protective tone. "I am with you and I will save you."
Rose nodded slightly, trying to be polite, but a flicker of discomfort crossed her face as she tried to subtly pull her hand away.
James, observing the interaction from the other side of Thorn Claw, felt a sharp pang of irritation. His eyes narrowed as he watched Kael's hand on Rose. Bobby, never one to stay silent, stepped forward and addressed Kael directly.
"Leave Rose's hand," Bobby commanded.
Kael turned a cold gaze toward Bobby.
"I will save Rose from dangers," Kael retorted. "For that, I have to be so close to her. Isn't it, Rose?"
Rose remained silent, her eyes darting toward James. She felt increasingly stifled by Kael's presence. James's patience finally snapped. He marched over, his expression serious and his eyes flashing with a protective fire.
Without a word, James reached out and firmly pried Kael's hand away from Rose. He took her hand in his own and pulled her gently but firmly to his side.
"Don't worry about Rose," James said to Kael, his voice like cold steel. "She can take care of herself and others too."
For a brief moment, Rose looked up at James, her eyes filled with a soft, loving light as she felt the warmth of his hand. However, James didn't return the look. His focus was entirely on the horizon. He released her hand as quickly as he had taken it, stepping forward to scout the area.
Kael stood frozen, burning with a visible jealousy. He reached out again, attempting to reclaim Rose's attention, but Bobby was faster. With a mischievous grin, Bobby jumped onto Kael's shoulders, clinging to him like a burr.
"I'm really scared of here!" Bobby cried out in a mock-whimper. "Please protect me, my hero!"
"GET DOWN!" Kael snarled, struggling to shake the boy off. "I can't carry you and I don't like you!"
Bobby tightened his grip, grinning at the others.
"Yes, even I hate you," Bobby chirped. "Please, Kael, save me!"
The sight of the two engaged in their usual cat-and-mouse fight broke the tension. James and Rose shared a brief, genuine laugh, and soon the entire group was chuckling at the absurdity of Kael's frustration.
The laughter died away as they began to walk into the heart of the plateau. Suddenly, James held up a hand, signaling for everyone to stop. A thick, unnatural smoke was rolling across the path, obscuring everything beyond a few feet.
"Please stop," James commanded. "Don't take another step from here."
"Why?" Albus asked, squinting into the gray haze.
"Because the smoke is filled here and I can't see the way from here," James replied.
Miss Mirael stepped up beside him, her hand on the hilt of her sword.
"I already told you that there will be a lot of dangers in our path in achieving the Raven Claw gemstone," Mirael reminded him.
"Yes," James said, his voice dropping to a whisper. "But you didn't say to us that dark shadows are following us here."
Dagger gasped, his hand flying to his wand.
"What? Dark shadows?"
"Everyone, come behind me," James ordered.
The team sprang into action. James, Rose, and Scorpius took the vanguard, standing shoulder to shoulder against the swirling mist. Dagger, Albus, and Miss Mirael moved to the flanks to provide cover. Bobby, still holding onto a frustrated Kael, prepared his powers, while Frank and Dim drew their weapons, eyes scanning the gloom.
James, Rose, and Scorpius exchanged a final look of solidarity before raising their wands.
"If you have the dare, come in front of us and fight with us!" James shouted into the smoke.
Silence followed. The only sound was the heavy breathing of the team. Scorpius, however, was struggling with a burden of his own. The master of the Hufflepuff gemstone felt a crushing weight in his chest—a lingering premonition of the future.
"Whatever it is, I have to tell the truth to at least James," Scorpius thought to himself, his heart racing. "Rose and Frank's lives are in danger. They can lose their lives in this mission."
He opened his mouth to speak, but the words seemed to stick in his throat. He tried to use his hands to signal the impending doom, his gestures frantic and confused. James glanced back at him, frowning at his friend's bizarre behavior. He had noticed Scorpius acting differently ever since he had become the master of the gemstone.
"What?" James asked.
Scorpius simply shook his head, unable to find the voice to explain. Even the dragons, Nyx Blazer and Thorn Claw, lowered their heads, sensing the impending danger Scorpius was trying to articulate.
James turned back to the smoke and shouted again, his voice echoing with authority.
"SHOW YOURSELF, VAMPIRE!"
"I can feel your instincts and your presence!"
The team gasped in shock. A vampire? Here?
A low, bitter laughter began to drift out from the dark shadows. It was a cold, melodic sound that chilled the blood. Slowly, a figure emerged from the gray veil.
It was a female vampire, her beauty as sharp and dangerous as a blade. She was followed by a staggering number of Dementors and Death Eaters, who materialized from the mist like ghosts of the past. The enemy force was massive, surrounding the small team on all sides.
The vampire stepped forward, her eyes glowing a predatory red. Two sharp fangs peeked over her lower lip, and her hands flickered with a strange, purple fire.
"My name is Elthira, the most powerful and dangerous vampire," she announced, her eyes locked onto James.
"I am highly impressed, James," she continued, a mocking smile playing on her lips. "You look so intelligent. Even I thought that your foolish friends would never know my presence and thought killing them would be a piece of easy task. I thought there would be no fun."
She took another step closer, her gaze sweeping over him with unnerving intensity.
"But you are something special," Elthira purred. "And that is why our Lord Voldemort finds you special and wanted you alive. I could have killed you the moment you and your friends entered this place on my Lord's orders."
"But seriously," she added, her voice dropping to a sultry tone, "I got attracted to your beauty and your dashing nature."
"I've listened about you enough—that you single-handedly destroyed many Death Eaters and Dementors, and even defeated the Dark Lord. On top of that, Thorn Claw, who is a really big, powerful dragon who never submitted to anyone... and yet you control it. Even my Dark Lord Voldemort couldn't able to control Thorn Claw, and the evil warrior Bellatrix was left defeated."
She gestured toward the book tucked into James's belt.
"Even the powerful, manipulative Slytherin Book which is with you couldn't able to change you into evil and couldn't able to make you to dance to its tunes. That's impressive."
Elthira stopped just inches from James, her presence overwhelming.
"I LOVE YOU, JAMES," she declared boldly. "Seriously, I like you a lot. I look so gorgeous and beautiful, but I am a vampire. I look so hot and gorgeous, more than anyone here."
She reached out and touched James's shoulder, her fingers trailing across the fabric of his cloak.
"I am a powerful and hottest vampire," she whispered. "You are the handsome, super-hot hero of my dreams."
Behind them, Rose felt as though her blood had turned to liquid fire. A pure, burning jealousy and rage erupted within her as she watched the vampire flirt shamelessly with James. James, however, remained impassive, his expression hard and serious.
"What do you want, Elthira?" James asked coldly.
The rest of the team stood in stunned silence, watching the surreal scene unfold.
"I wanted to kill you before because of my Dark Lord's orders," Elthira explained. "But after knowing you and seeing your intelligence, it made me fall for you. I would help you in achieving the Raven Claw gemstone, Mr. Gryffindor Heir."
James stared at her, his mind racing. Rose's hands curled into tight fists, her knuckles turning white. Frank and Bobby, despite the danger, couldn't help but let out a small, stifled laugh at the sheer level of jealousy radiating from Rose.
"What do you want, Miss Elthira?" James repeated. "Why would I need your help? You are working for your Dark King."
"You need my help, James, because I am more powerful than everyone—and you also," Elthira countered. "I wanted you."
"What?" James asked, recoil in his voice.
Rose couldn't take it any longer. She stepped forward, her wand pointed directly at Elthira's throat.
"Hey, you!" Rose shouted, her voice trembling with fury. "Back out! James would never care about your words. He literally hates your type!"
Rose looked at James, hoping for a confirmation of her words, but James remained silent, his gaze fixed on the vampire.
Elthira laughed at Rose's outburst, a sound full of condescension. She reached out and took James's hand.
"James, you need my help more than this worthless team," Elthira said.
James's eyes flashed with a dangerous light. He gripped her hand, but not in a friendly way.
"I will not tolerate if anyone badmouths my friends," James snarled. "They are my life. Got it?"
Elthira merely smiled.
"Whatever. You will need my help, James, because there are a lot of traps in this path and achieving the Raven Claw gemstone is really difficult. You can't even know what is true and what is not. There are traps and dangers that will not be seen by the eyes of humans. But I can see it and feel it. I can save you, and you don't know what Voldemort is planning for you. You need me, James."
"I DON'T WANT IT," James stated firmly, pulling his hand away and walking toward his friends.
Rose felt a surge of triumph, a smile tugging at her lips. But Elthira wasn't finished.
"WILL YOU KEEP YOUR FRIENDS' LIVES AT RISK BY SAYING NO TO ME?" Elthira announced, her voice echoing across the plateau.
"WE DON'T NEED YOUR HELP, MISS ELTHIRA!" Rose and Scorpius shouted in unison.
Frank and Albus stepped up behind James, offering their support. However, Kael Nightshade spoke up, a thoughtful look on his face.
"We can get her help," Kael suggested. "Miss Mirael already said that the Raven Claw gemstone plays an important role in finding the Gryffindor and Slytherin gemstones. She said we have to encounter dangers, traps, and dangerous animals protecting it."
The group turned to look at Kael in disbelief, but Elthira used the opening to reveal her final card.
"I'm having a map related to the Raven Claw gemstone and the Slytherin gemstone," she revealed. "You can know where the gemstones were hidden, but you can't find them without a vampire like me, Mr. James. If you really value your friends' lives and yours—and top of that, wait—your school, Hogwarts... join with me."
James stopped walking. He stood with his back to them, thinking deeply about the weight of the mission and the lives of those he loved.
"What do you want, Miss Elthira?" James asked, turning back. "What will you gain from helping us?"
"You," Elthira replied simply.
"I can't give that to you," James said.
"Okay," Elthira conceded with a shrug. "Let's do one thing. We can make a deal. I will be with you like a girlfriend, and if you like me, we can start a relationship later."
"NO!" Rose screamed.
James ignored the outburst, looking at the vampire with narrow eyes.
"I don't think that is the real reason, whatever you told me," James said.
"Yes," Elthira admitted. "That's not the only thing I wanted. I feel the Raven Claw gemstone would choose me because I'm getting a lot of dreams of it and feeling like it is calling me. I know already the Gryffindor gemstone would choose you as its master. I am beautiful, loyal, and a powerful vampire—and Raven Claw would choose me definitely. We can become a power couple."
James ran a hand through his hair, frustrated and torn. Elthira saw the doubt in his eyes and turned toward her own followers.
"I know you will not keep trust in me, James," she said. "I will prove it to you."
With a sudden, violent movement, Elthira turned on the Dementors and Death Eaters behind her. In a blur of purple fire and lethal speed, she began to tear through the ranks of her own army. She destroyed them brutally, her powers far exceeding anything the team had seen. A few terrified survivors managed to flee back into the smoke, leaving the plateau littered with the remnants of the dark force.
The team watched in total shock. Frank gripped Dagger's hand, and Kael held Scorpius's hand tightly as they witnessed the carnage. Elthira walked back toward James, her expression serene despite the violence she had just committed.
"I will take care of you, James," she said softly.
James looked at her, his mind a whirlwind of suspicion and necessity. He looked at Rose, whose face was a mask of heartbreak and anger. Then, slowly, James reached out and shook Elthira's hand.
"Welcome to the team," James said.
The announcement hit the group like a physical blow. No one liked the decision, and the tension between the friends skyrocketed. Elthira walked over to Rose, looking her up and down with a sneer.
"You look ugly, Miss..."
Rose didn't skip a beat, her eyes narrowed in a lethal glare.
"Not more than you, Miss Elthira," Rose countered.
The two women stood locked in a silent war of glares. James quickly stepped between them, his presence the only thing preventing an immediate magical duel.
As they began to move forward, Bobby watched them from the back, a small, knowing smile on his face.
"There will be a lot of fun from now onwards," Bobby thought to himself. "A super-hot vampire and a beautiful, talented wizard-witch fighting for the legendary Gryffindor Prince. A love triangle. Whom will James choose?"
