RING RING

.....

RING RING

.....

An alarm clock is ringing inside a room beside a sleeping boy. Giggling as he sleeps while his saliva drools down his mouth.

...

RING RING

"Hmm~"

"Yawn~~~"

RING RING

"Hmm~~? Oh!!! Its morning!! I'm going to go school camping today! I should go now"

The boy then wiped his mouth as he excitedly got up on his bed and stretched his arms up high above his head. He then got down to his bed and saw how messy it was due to his rather comfortable sleeping the whole night.

"I should fix my bed before going out uhum"

He said nodding as he decide to fix his bed before going.

Eventually he fixed his bed with a proud face at doing his work.

"This should do. Time to head out and tell mom I'm going to school camping hehe"

Once outside of his room, he then find his mom to tell that he was going out camping. The boy shouted once in the hallway.

"Mom! Mom! today is the day I'm going out school camping! Hehe"

Aria, his mom, smiles as she heard her dear son's exited shouting in the kitchen while she prepares breakfast.

"Yes, yes, I know Arch, you told me last night together with your father last night at dinner. Don't tell me you forgot it already did you?"

"Oh really? Hehe I am just excited to go out camping with my friends at school"

Hearing his mother's reply, Arch walked toward the dining area. He saw his mother carrying a plate of food, which she placed on the table as she smiled at him. She then walked closer and helped Arch sit on the chair at the table.

"Come here, my dear Arch," Aria said as she helped him onto the chair. "Eat your breakfast first. I already packed your things in your backpack beforehand. Just don't eat too fast, okay?"

"Thank you so much, Mom!" Arch said happily while eating his food.

"After you done eating, place the dishes in the sink"

"Okay!"

Aria smiled at her son and kissed him on the forehead. "I'll prepare your bath while you eat"

A while later, she called out, "Arch, the bath is ready! Are you done brushing your teeth?"

"Yes, Mommy!"

"Good. Take a bath and change."

By 9 a.m., Arch was ready to go. With his backpack on, he stood by the door smiling at his mother excitedly.

"Excited for your school camping?" Aria asked as she fix his clothes and brushing his hair.

"Yes! I can't wait to go camping with my friends hehe"

"Okay, stay safe while walking, and don't forget to meet Ted and Ina at the cross section to school"

"I will! I love you, Mom!"

"I love you too my dear. Bye"

Aria then kissed Arch on the cheek as he left the house for his school camping trip.

"Oh? Has Arch left already?" Chen, Arch's father walked to the door and asked his wife.

"Yes, he was so excited going out to school camping with his friends"

While Aria and Chen talked. Arch walked happily along the road in his neighborhood, humming a song he remembers in a tv show of crystals and dance, to himself as his backpack bounced slightly with his every step. Soon, he spotted two familiar figures waiting near the cross section as he excitedly walked towards them.

"Ted! Ina!" Arch called out, waving excitedly as he got near.

"Arch!" Ted replied with a grin. "You're finally here! We just met here"

Ina smiled brightly. "You look really excited. Is it because of the camping trip today?"

"Hehehe, of course I am!" Arch said. "I couldn't even sleep properly last night thinking about it, camping along with you guys. I wonder what we'll do first when we arrive"

"I hope we get to set up the tents" Ted said. "I've never done that before and I really look forward to it"

"And I want to sit by the campfire" Ina added. "My mom said we might roast marshmallows to eat"

"That sound so fun!" Arch said happily. "I really can't wait!"

As they talked and laughed, the three of them continued walking together toward the school.

When they arrived at the school grounds, many students were already gathered by groups, carrying backpacks and chatting excitedly about what will they do. Near the front of the school, Teacher Kris stood with a clipboard in hand.

Eventually.

"Alright, everyone!" Teacher Kris called out, "please line up properly for me, boys on the left and girls to the right, to check your attendance"

The students heard him and quickly formed a line of 2. Teacher Kris smiled and nodded and looked down at his clipboard at a list and began calling the names of his students.

.....

"Here!"

.....

"Arch.""Here!"

.....

.....

"Ted.""Here!"

.....

.....

"Ina.""Here!"

One by one, Teacher Kris checked the list of names, making sure everyone who signed up for the camping trip was present. Arch stood quietly in line beside his friends, smiling as he waited for the teacher to be done.

After finishing the count, Teacher Kris smiled at the students.

"Good, now that everyone is here. As you all know, today we'll be going on a school camping trip. Please listen carefully and follow the rules. Stay with your group, listen to your teachers, and most importantly, stay safe."

The students nodded as they listened while they chat with their friends.

Arch turned to his friends and whispered excitedly, "I can't believe we're really going out camping"

"I know right" Ted replied. "I hope the place is really big for us to explore"

Ina giggled. "As long as we're together, it will be lots of fun."

Arch smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I'm really excited for this trip together with you 2"

Just then, a loud sound came from the front of the school grounds.

VROOOM—HISS!

A big yellow school bus with camping gear on top of its roof slowly entered the grounds and stopped in front of the students. Everyone turned to look at the bus, their faces filled with excitement.

"Alright, everyone" Teacher Kris called out to the students, clapping lightly. "Line up properly and get ready to board the bus"

The students quickly formed a line, holding their backpacks tightly. Arch stepped forward with Ted and Ina nearby.

Once on the bus, they quickly found many empty seats near the middle and sat beside each other.

"This is so cool" Ted said, placing his backpack on his lap. "I've never been on a school camping trip before"

"Me too," Ina replied. "I wonder if there will be animals in the forest when we arrive"

Arch laughed softly. "I hope we see birds or maybe squirrels. That would be fun to watch"

"I brought snacks," Ted said proudly as he open his backpack holding a bag of snacks. "My mom packed a lot for us to eat"

Ina giggled. "You're lucky. I only brought biscuits for the ride"

"That's okay" Arch said. "We can share later"

Soon, the bus filled up with students, and the sound of happy chatter echoed inside. Some students laughed, others talked loudly about games, tents, and campfires.

After everyone was seated, Teacher Kris stepped onto the bus and stood at the front.

"Everyone seated?" Teacher Kris asked.

"Yes!" the students replied together.

"Good. Please remain seated and behave properly while we travel," Teacher Kris said before taking a seat near the front.

The bus engine started, and slowly, it pulled away from the school grounds.

As the bus moved, the children continued chatting excitedly. Arch looked out the window, watching the buildings slowly turn into trees.

"Look," Ina said, pointing outside. "There are so many trees already."

"We must be getting close," Ted said.

Arch smiled, listening to his friends and the lively voices around him. The nearby forest was getting closer, and the adventure was just the beginning of something unknown.
