Chapter 12 - chapter 12

Hiruzen sat in his office, still thinking about his conversation with Kasi.

Suddenly, the office door slammed open with a loud BAM!

"I told you, Hiruzen!" Danzo's voice boomed, full of anger. "We should have dealt with Kasi the moment he returned! You should have given me the Jinchuriki! Or better yet… we could kill him and take Naruto back for Root!"

Hiruzen's face darkened. He kept his voice calm but firm.

"Danzo… do you truly think I would allow that? Killing a Namikaze? Taking a child for root? That is not the way of the village, nor the Hokage. You must think carefully before acting. One rash move, and the consequences would be disastrous for you."

Danzo's eyes flared with fury.

"Hiruzen , you are weak! You can't even punish someone who disrespected you, let alone control a man like Kasi!"

Hiruzen's voice sharpened, carrying the full weight of his authority.

"I am the Hokage, Danzo. And I decide what is right and wrong in this village. If you act against Kasi, you do so at your own peril."

Danzo's fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white at Hiruzen's words.

"You'll regret this, Hiruzen!" Danzo shouted, storming out of the office, slamming the door behind him.

Hiruzen sank back in his chair, taking a slow puff from his pipe. The smoke curled lazily around him as he thought over the night's events. Kasi Namikaze was back — stronger than anyone had expected, and his anger from the previous night was still palpable, though controlled.

The next day, Naruto went to school as usual, his ever-present grin brightening the streets of Konoha. For a moment, the world seemed almost normal for him.

Meanwhile, Kasi was investigating the property his brother and sister-in-law had left behind. Nearly every building and plot of land they had owned had been tampered with, sold, or neglected. He muttered curses under his breath — 18 generations of Hokage, their advisors, and council members — all of them careless or worse.

The only place untouched was the house, protected by seals his brother and sister-in-law had placed at his request. Kasi carefully opened the seal and stepped inside. The house felt frozen in time, every corner, every piece of furniture exactly as it had been.

After a long moment inside, Kasi decided he wanted to gather the Jonin. Legally, he had no authority to call a village meeting, but that didn't stop him.

Flaring his chakra to its full strength.Within moments, all available Jonin, except those on guard duty, appeared at the house, one by one.

Whispers ran through the group as they gathered. Some Jonin recognized him immediately — the brother of the Yellow Flash, known long ago as "The Silver Storm". Though the villagers had forgotten over eight years, the Jonin remembered his feats during the war. He had been a war hero in his own right, powerful and respected, even if slightly less renowned than Minato. Their eyes widened as they realized the man leaning casually against the wall, arms crossed, was the legendary Silver Storm.

Kasi didn't acknowledge their glances. He spoke in a lazy, playful voice, a faint smirk on his lips:

"Oh my… didn't expect to call the whole village. I just… felt a little nostalgic."

The Jonin remained silent, uneasy. The air around Kasi carried a quiet force — calm, yet undeniably dangerous. Even after eight years, the memory of his skill and power returned instantly to those who had seen him in action.

Kasi's eyes drifted over the room, scanning the Jonin, then shifted back to the house.
