"Yes.." I said slowly, unable to process what just happened.
I walked out of my apartment and to the night street which was still bustling.
I felt the wind from the cars wooshing beside me by dark brown hair blowing around. I then spoke in a hushed tone, careful to not look weird. "Storage… E-Bike?" I said in a tone that meant I had no idea what I was doing. "Ping" And the bike dropped right in front of me. I stepped onto the bike, hands cold from the snow around me.
"Click" I pressed the button on the bike. It made a beep before going forward. I looked at the small screen on my bike. [5KM] it said. I didn't believe it. I clicked it and it went up to 10 km. I felt like I was flying. The wind making my hair fly, the chill of the night, the snow falling slowly, before I realized it a smile had crept onto my face. My heart felt light, nothing like before. For a moment I thought I was floating.
Soon I arrived at the bank. I stared at those doors, remembering how many times I had tried to get a loan there. The joy I felt moments ago felt like a distant past. I pushed the door. "Hello sir ho…" Their voices trailed off. They knew who I was. The small flicker of joy was fully extinguished. "Hello. I have money and I would like to set up an account." My voice was quiet barely above a whisper. The receptionist looked shocked. She then asked the question. "Can I have the money to add to your account?" My mind flashed back to the day where I was begging for a loan. I had to pay off loan sharks and needed a loan. My mind flashed back to reality where I then thought. Withdraw 1000 dollars. Then with a ping I felt something weigh in my pocket. I reached my hand in and pulled out the money.

"Okay, your account is now set up." the receptionist said after a grueling 30 minutes. I got on my bike and rode home. The whole way home I felt like someone was looking at me but I was so lost in my thoughts I kept biking. I'm so tired. I need sleep. I blinked my eyes slowly, almost asleep when I opened my door. I flopped onto my bed with a thud before dozing off.
