"Honan! Get out of dodge ball for a second!" The counciler, Jacob yelled at me. I sprinted off of the field. "Watsup." I said oblivius to the fact. "Hey.. Kiddo, this ain't easy to say but your parents are in a car crash. I'm going to get someone to drive you to the hospital. Okay?" Jacob stared at me with a kind gaze, almost pitying the child who was about to become an orphan. A tear rolled down my cheek. Then Jacob pulled me into a hug as he talked. "You know Perus? He has blone hair about 5'9?" I nodded sniffling but not crying. "Okay he's going to drive you there okay? Your parent's lawyer said he'll pay for it." He continued. Then he walked to Perus and left.
"Follow me." Perus said in a normal more natural tone than his forced exitement I had see earlier. He pulled open the door open and lifted me into the seat. The closed the door and I stared out the window still in shock. I still hadn't proccesed what had happened. I stared out the window watching cars and trees pass by. It seemed like years untill we arrived at the hospital. Perus walked me into the hospital and left me with a nurse before leaving without saying a word.
"Hey, hun. Are you Honan Bell?" A nurse asked. I nodded and her face turned grave. I gave her a confused tilt of my head and that was the day I learned about my parents death...
