Chapter 4 - Chap 4 - His Body called Elior

Kael lay in the dark, sweat cooling on his skin, breath already uneven from hours of fighting himself. The moment Elior's face surfaced in his mind — the shy eyes, the flinch, the way he looked up like he didn't even know he was tempting — Kael's body reacted violently. His hips pushed into the sheets without command, a rough, frustrated sound slipping from his throat.

"Damn it… Elior…" he muttered, chest trembling with how badly he wanted him close.

One slow grind into the mattress turned into another. And another.

His muscles tightened, a breath hitched dangerously—

then the first release tore through him, soaking the sheets beneath him.

He stopped.

For a second.

But the distance between them… the fact Elior wasn't here… it burned worse than the heat in his body.

The need surged back harder, deeper. His hips moved again, desperate, rubbing into the already-wet sheets. He trembled through another sharp, breath-stealing release.

"Not again…" he whispered, almost pleading with his own body — but it didn't matter.

His mind stayed filled with Elior.

A third time.

A fourth.

Each one worse — craving him, missing him, wanting to pull him into the room even if it was impossible. His legs shook, the bed creaked under him, and his voice cracked from holding back the sounds he didn't want anyone else to hear.

By dawn, the sheets were ruined — a whole night of wanting someone he couldn't touch.

Kael lay there exhausted, sore, breathless… and still aching for him like they'd been dragged apart mid-embrace.

He dragged a shaky hand through his hair, eyes glowing faintly in the darkness as he whispered hoarsely—

"Soon… it'll be just us. One room. One bed. Nowhere for him to run."

His voice dropped lower, darker, filled with the hunger of someone who's waited too long.

"When I finally have him… I'm not stopping. Not for morning. Not for night. I'll keep him so close he forgets where his breath ends and mine begins."

A slow, hungry breath followed — the kind that comes from wanting someone so badly it hurts.

"I want him pressed to me until even the walls can't tell our bodies apart… until time itself has to wait outside."...

Morning light barely filtered through the windows, still soft, still quiet. Students chatted lazily as they drifted to their seats.

Elior sat near the back, absently tapping his pen, hair falling over his eyes.

The door slid open.

Kael stepped in.

For a moment, his expression was unreadable… until his gaze landed on Elior. Something dark flickered in those eyes — the echo of last night's hunger.

He walked slowly… almost too slowly… and slipped into the empty seat right beside Elior.

Kael leaned forward, resting his cheek on the wooden desk, one hand draped loosely over the edge — relaxed, but the tension under his skin was unmistakable.

…This soft skin… this tiny waist… would his fragile body even survive five… maybe ten rounds?

Kael's breath hitched with the thought, a quiet exhale escaping him.

Elior felt the stare before he saw it.

He turned, confused, cheeks tinting pink.

"W‑Why are you looking at me like that?" Elior whispered.

Kael's lips curled, slow and shameless.

"Oh? Are you getting attracted just because a handsome guy is looking at you?"

Elior's heart thudded. "N‑No! That's not— I wasn't—"

Kael tilted his head dramatically, voice dropping into a teasing murmur.

"Hmm… or…" He tapped his chin.

"Are you having bad intentions about me?"

Elior froze. "W‑What?! I‑I'm not—!"

Kael placed a hand over his own chest with fake innocence.

"Oh my… should I be careful? Should I protect my body?"

He leaned just a little closer.

"Wouldn't want to lose my poor, precious virginity now, would I?"

Elior's ears went crimson. He practically choked on his own breath.

"You— you're ridiculous," he muttered, turning his face away.

Kael watched him with a low laugh rumbling under his breath — a dangerous, hungry sound he tried very hard to swallow down.

The trembling fingers.

The shivering breath.

The way he couldn't hide the reaction Kael caused.

And it only fed the fire he'd been trying — and failing — to smother since last night.

Then again the class buzzed with quiet chatter until the instructor walked in. "Pair up. Today we're continuing dual-channel flow."

Everyone moved—except Kael, who was already staring at Elior.

"Elior," Kael said, voice low but unmistakably claiming. "You're with me again."

Elior blinked, startled. "A-Ah… okay."

His cheeks went pink instantly, and Kael's eyes darkened, satisfied.

As they stepped forward to begin, a flicker of shadow passed near the doorway. It vanished, but Kael's expression sharpened as if he sensed something dangerous.

Elior noticed. "Kael? What happened?"

His voice was soft, worried.

Kael forced his gaze off the doorway. "Nothing you need to worry about."

But his hand moved instinctively, pulling Elior just a little closer.

The instructor called for silence, and the class began focusing on channeling energy between pairs.

Elior raised his hands, flustered. "Um… like yesterday, right?"

Kael stepped in—too close—curling his fingers lightly around Elior's wrist.

"Exactly like yesterday," he said, tone thicker. "But don't look away from me this time."

Elior's breath hitched. "I'm n-not— I'm just nervous…"

Kael's mouth curved into a slow, dark smirk.

"Good. I like you better when I'm the reason you lose focus."

Elior's ears turned red. "You can't just say things like that… we're in class…"

Kael lowered his head slightly, letting his breath brush Elior's cheek.

"And? Nobody here matters to me."

His thumb traced Elior's pulse—firm, controlled.

"I only care about what you're doing… with me."

Elior's heart jumped so loudly he was sure Kael could feel it.

Energy flowed between them, unsteady only because Elior kept glancing away, flustered beyond control.

Kael corrected their stance, his hand sliding around Elior's waist with quiet confidence.

"Relax," Kael murmured. "Or I'll pull you even closer.

Elior froze completely. "D-Don't—!"

Kael chuckled softly. "Then behave."

His voice was dangerously gentle.

"You have no idea what you do to me, do you?"

Elior's face turned crimson, his magic flickering out for a second.

Kael leaned in, whispering just for him—

"Focus on me. Only me. I'm not letting anyone else near you today."

And it wasn't a threat.

It was a promise...

Then the class ended, and it was midday. Everyone left the classroom and went to the dining hall for lunch.

The dining hall was loud and bright, but Kael barely noticed anyone except Elior. The moment he spotted him across the room, sitting alone with his tray, something in his chest tightened. He walked over without hesitation and dropped into the seat beside him, close enough that Elior startled.

"You know," Kael said casually, leaning in just a little, "I could skip lunch entirely and still feel full if you're in front of me."

Elior choked on air. "Wh— why would you even say things like that?" His face was already heating up.

Kael shrugged, eyes soft but annoyingly confident. "Because it's true. And because I like seeing your ears turn red."

Elior froze, flustered, unable to look at him. Under the table, Kael's fingers brushed the back of Elior's hand — light, intentional, enough to make him jerk slightly.

"Relax," Kael murmured, amused. "I'm just sitting here. You make it look like I'm doing something dangerous."

"You are," Elior muttered. "You're… too much."

Kael's smirk deepened. "Only for you."

Elior pressed his lips together, trying to focus on his food, but Kael was watching him shamelessly — like he'd rather memorize Elior than eat.

After a long moment, Elior whispered, frustrated, "You say things like that and expect me to eat normally?"

Kael leaned closer, voice low but oddly soft. "Then don't. Just look at me instead."

Elior's breath hitched. "Kael… we're in the cafeteria."

"So?" Kael replied, eyes warm and steady. "You're still the only thing I'm

hungry for."

Kael stood up first, picking up his tray.

Before leaving, he leaned down, whispering near Elior's ear—

"Stay close to me. I don't like the way some people were looking at you today."

Elior froze, heart pounding.

Kael walked away without waiting for a reply...
